1. Production Reflection

2. Process
I wrote out a script for my final product. This makes my work flow easier when I am recording and makes
it more professional. It also gives me an idea of how long my product will be and I can work around it by
adding more to the script if it is not long enough. If the interviewee talks a lot and we are coming closer
to the maximum time then I can always just take questions off or skip some.

3. Process
I could not hear the main
interview properly so I turned up
the interview on the A1 slider
soundboard. After this it still could
have been slightly louder so I
turned up the master sound key
to 6 and that made the sound
volume perfect. I kept the sound
effects and the main sound in
separate audio places so that I
could make the sounds louder or
quieter easier than if they were
on the same audio set. Overall
this went well and this helped a
lot with my audio skills for the
future.

4. Process
I was running over on my time slot as it was over 5 minutes. To solve
this I sped up my speech by selecting all of the sounds and right clicking
on the sound. I then clicked speed and turned it up to 103.5%. This
sped up my podcast a little bit.

5. Process
I used the razor tool a lot during my production to cut
dull parts off of the sound and then cut them out of
the podcast. I also used it to delete full talking parts as
I only had 5 minutes to fit everything in so I used it to
cut out chunks. There were some points where I cut
out dull parts where the interviewee or me the
interviewer where thinking about what to say to save
more time.

6. Process
To export I went to file save. And then I went to file, export, media and saved
it to my memory stick as an MP3 file. It is saved as an MP3 and a Premier file
to avoid corruption and to backup my work incase I lose it.

7. Process
I used a constant gain tool on effect controls and then audio transitions and
placed a constant gain.
