Josh Palmer created an animated snowboarding game. He began by designing the background slope and menu screen. Characters were then animated entering one at a time. Josh animated the game starting with increasing amounts of ice until the playing field was full. He next designed skate park levels with ramps and obstacles, animating characters moving through stances on the course. Finally, Josh added sound effects and original music in Premiere Pro, trimming and duplicating audio clips to synchronize with the animations.

The map views are useful for providing a geographical representation of data. They allow users to visualize and analyze the data in a more intuitive manner.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

2. Process
• Firstly I made the slope in the back
ground. I used the pencil tool to
make the diagonal slope and then
I filled in the rest of the slope with
white. I then made a background
the goes from light to bark by
simply drawing over the lighter
parts. After making the back
ground I started on the main
menu. I coloured in the whole
screen light blue and turned down
the opacity to make it look like ice.
I also made little cracks in the
corners so people could tell what
it was. After this I made the play
and customize buttons. To do this I
made a rectangle type of button
and I added a shade at the bottom
with the pencil tool. This is so the
animations look better.
3. Process
• Next I created a time line a added another page.
To do this I used the eye tool to un-see the main
title and the ‘play’ and customize’ bars. I then
created a new section in the time line for the
characters to come in. I first added an arrow to the
left and then I made all of my characters to come
in one by one. I created everything with the pencil
tool and used the colour selector to choose the
appropriate colour. I also then made another
animation of the character being chosen and then
made him come off the screen.
• I then made the animation of the game starting. I
used a darker blue to get the effect of the ice. I
then started to make more animations and kept
increasing the amount of ice on each frame, until
it was full. When this happened I added some
extra pieces of ice to make it look more real. I
would have done single pieces of ice but it would
have taken too long. After the ice was gone I made
it just to be the main game screen.
4. Process
• Firstly I started off by making the canvas size really big so I could
see what I was doing and look at the whole level all together.
• I made all of the different kinds of ramps using the pencil tool. I
out lined all the ramps in grey so they looked a bit more realistic.
I added some cool rails that would be fun to play on as well. To
get the sky background cover the whole thing I simply just
copied and pasted it all the way down. I also added a finish line
and a nicely detailed house. This was so that there was a reward
for completing the level.
5. Process
• Next I got onto the animations. I properly could have
done this a lot quicker if I did it in a different way but I
did not know that before I did it. I started by making 5
character positions: normal stance, going down a
slope stance, going up a slop stance, grinding stance,
and the hands up normal stance. I then added all of
these on the level at the position I wanted them at. I
then started at the beginning where I could on see
the 1st person using the see/un-see tool and did this
until the very last guy. Each person on the long picture
below was one frame. Until the end I just animated
the same guy jumping.
• I then made the canvas size to the original size to
match with the starting screen and for each frame I
moved the whole map to the left so you could see
where the character was.
6. Process
• To add the SFX and music in I used premier pro.
• Firstly I made my own little jingle in garage
band using some pre made beats. I added drum
beat in and then I added so piano beats in as
well so it fitted. I then put it into premier and
made sure it was the correct length and that it
sound good. I then put the constant power fade
effect on the end of it so the sound just fades
off rather than cuts off. This will make the
whole thing sound smoother.
• Next I added some SFX in to it. I added a SFX
for: clicking on the buttons, ice cracking, the
characters dialog when being chosen, grinds,
characters dialog for landing a trick, the crowd
cheering and finally the sound of someone
snowboarding. For all of these SFX I had to trim
them down. For the ice cracking, button select
SFX and the grinds I had to duplicate the audio
clip after trimming it down. I did this by
selecting the the clip and then using the ‘alt’
button on my keyboard to duplicate it. I used
the constant power fade tool again for the
crowd cheer at the end for the same reason.
Finally I used the ‘audio gain’ tool to decrease
the decibel level by -7 for the music. This is so it
didn’t over power the SFX.
