Production Reflection
Joe Farrell
Process
For the front cover I used some
quite key figures within the halo
community I lowered the opacity of
the background characters so they
look ghostly or to create a hidden
story within the game
Process
• I used the patch
tool to make it look
more a smooth
transition with the
background by
merging the layers
and messing with
the brightness to
give it as if he is in
front of the light
Process
• To create the
Achievement logo
on the magazine I
had to look online
for one with a
empty slot so I could
insert my own text
and then merge the
text layer with the
actual picture to
give it the illusion of
one entity
Process
• To create this part I
used loads of tools,
Blur , Smudge,
eraser , opacity
,colour
replacement and
patch tool to
create the
background image
Process
The final outcome I found pretty well as it
looks like the actual front cover of a gaming
magazine and catch's your eye, I later added
the text to give it a more gamer vibe to it with
a neutral color as the background colors are
mostly dark I used white to make it stand out
from the background,I later noticed at the top
it had a black line so I went back ito
photoshop and fixed that to make it look
more smooth
Process
To get the dual page I went
online and looked at some
pre made magazines and I
saw that they all show a key
character in the background
that’s related to the topic,
they place the headers
around in the areas that
stand out
process
I then looked online for
halo gameplay and
added next to the titles
and then added a
boarder around it as a
png so its transparent.
Process I went online and looked at
theorys,plots and comebacks
that could happen within
halo 6 and this was the final
outcome
