2. Initial Reaction
• I feel like I good at endless runners because I have the most experience playing them on my
phone; so I know how it works better than I know other game category’s. I could make an
endless runner, stay in my comfort zone and perform really well. Or I could do a different
type of game like a rpg game from birds eye view and make it look pretty cool but it wont
have as well graphics because of the time I have. I am going to do a lobby area as well so it
will look like real game play.

4. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• Yes. Firstly there is a lot of white/light colours. This is because for the final product I
want it to has a happy or fun mood to it because the game is about people having fun.
However for the gun game I have chosen dark photos because the game is more about
death and killing.
• I have gone fore a more cartoony looking characters because I think that they would
look a lot better than less detailed characters.
• With the mood I have gone half dark and half light for the two types of games I was
wanting to do.
• There are a lot of props on the mood board because they are really important to the
game.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• I now know how my styles are going to be, they will be more
cartoony, the mood board helped me because it has allowed me to
see both genre/mood of each types. I really think that I will be a lot
more detailed with the lighter one than darker.
5. Schedule
WEEK OVERALL PLAN SPECIFIC TASKS
1 Production Experiments,
Initial Response, Product
Research
Try and draw out the props and see
ones that work and don’t work.
Try to see what colours work together
See what other companies have done
to see if they have done anything
interesting so I can adapt onto that.
2 Product Research, Proposal,
Planning
Try looking at other styles of other
work to see how they put it all
together.
Do the proposal.
Write out what is going to happen in
the animation.
3 Production Start with the back ground and work
from there (all of the main
environment first: hills ramps)
After adding every prop and piece of
pixel are I will start animating.
4 Production Stick to the plan and start animating.
Start with the main menu and then
item shop.
5 Evaluation Spend a good amount of time looking
what I did well and what I could
improve on throughout the whole
project (not just work related, so like
time management as well).
