Harry created a pixel art game over several weeks. He drew characters, spaceships, and other sprites and animated them frame-by-frame. Harry worked on gameplay elements like menus, loading screens, and character selection. Throughout the process, he fixed issues like character arm movements not behaving properly. Harry added sound effects and composed dramatic music for the game. While some technical challenges remained, Harry was happy with his progress in bringing the pixel art game to life through animation and multimedia elements.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

2. Process Week 1
• Tuesday - I started experiments
with pixel art. I drew a ‘Sheldon
Cooper’ character.
• Wednesday – I started making an
‘Endless run’ game, but that didn’t
work, so I made a matching car
game which went a lot better.
• Thursday – I continued making the
experiment game. In the second
lesson I started my initial Ideas.
• Friday – I made the frame
animations for the game, exported
it to premiere pro and added the
music and sound effects. Then I
did three mind maps of ideas for a
game.
• Saturday – I worked on my
moodboard, moodboard analysis
schedule and bibliography.
3. Process over the holiday
• Monday – I continued doing my
research.
• Tuesday – I completed the
research and started making
the game in Photoshop. I made
the menu page, loading page
and gameplay page. I made the
millennium falcon for the
loading page and duplicated
the layer twice.
• Wednesday – I continued
making my game. I drew the
characters (3 storm troopers,
C3PO lookalike and R2D2
lookalike). I made the
spaceships, guns and bullets.
• I started the frame animation
by moving the mouse to the
play button, clicking play and
loading the game.
4. Process Week 3
• Tuesday – I made new layers for
each character and drew over them
because there were gaps on the
originals. They look better than what
they were, but I’m thinking about
whether to keep them as they are or
draw them from scratch.
• I need to draw C3PO from scratch
because there are gaps in the
original, making it look odd.
• I re-drew R2D2 in because the
original one is too small and it’s not
clear to see what it is.
5. wednesday
I decided to draw the storm troopers
and again because the others were
poor quality. These ones look a lot
better and it’s easy to see what they
are. They need sharpening so they will
look even better.
I need to draw R2D2 again because
this version is too big. When I moved it
to the game, I shrunk it down which
made it look like a blue blob. If I draw
a smaller one, it will be clearer to see
what it is when it’s moved to the
game.
6. Thursday
• I sharpened the storm troopers
up using the pencil tool. This
has made them look better.
• I started making the
animations. I made a new
frame and moved the
character and moving path in
each frame.
• I duplicated the arm layer so
when the character is going in
the opposite direction, he has
a left arm that will move.
• I’m happy with the way the
game is working so far.
7. Friday
• I made a logo for my game. I used
a download font from dafont, and
used an image of star wars space.
• I used the ellipse tool in
photoshop to draw the circle, and
used the bevel and emboss to
make it look better/stand out.
• I changed the colour of the text by
using a gradient, which made the
text have more than one colour.
• I continued with the animation. I
still feel happy with the way it’s
working out. I will do more over
the weekend so I’m further ahead
for next week.
8. Sunday
I made a ‘choose your character’ page
for my game.
I made three new layers. The forst one
for the ‘choose your character’ text,
another for C3PO character, and
another Princess Leia character.
I duplicated the mouse layer so I could
have one for this page.
I finished animating C3PO.
9. Tuesday
• I spent most of the day
fixing any issues. The
biggest issue was the
arm movements
because they were
moving in places when
they weren’t meant to.
• I finished animating the
storm troopers.
• I made three new layers
and made bullets, so
when the storm
troopers shot, they
would try and hit C3PO.
10. Wednesday
• I spent more time fixing any
issues/glitches in the game.
• I made a ‘You DIED. RETRY?’
menu so when the character
dies, they have the option to
try again.
• I duplicated the yes and no
button layers from the ‘play
again’ menu, and moved
them to the frames where
the character dies.
• I saved the game into to
parts as the character does
and will start again. I’ve kept
the original and backup files
incase anything goes wrong.
11. Thursday
• I continued fixing issues, and
edited the animations. In the
second part, I had to change
the characters movements so
he avoids being hit by the
bullet. I re drew the house on a
new layer because it needed to
explode when hit by the bullet.
• I turned the arm layers on so
there on all the time because I
thought it looked silly with the
character moving with one arm
pointing in the direction he’s
moving in.
12. Thursday things that went wrong
• The right arm kept
on moving to
different places
without me
highlighting every
frame. i moved it in
one frame at a time
and it was still on
the characters body.
13. Friday
• I tried fixing the arm
movement issue. It worked
in most of the frames, but
on some it wouldn’t. I
wasn’t happy about it, but
it wasn’t fixable
• I exported the video to
premiere pro and added
sound effects.
• I made a sound effect in
beep box that sounds like
when the paths are falling,
it’s like they’re dying.
14. Week 5 Wednesday
• I made the music for my video.
This is something I struggled
with because I wasn’t sure how
to make it sound dramatic. I’m
really happy with it because it
flows at the same speed as the
animation.
• I changed the wave setting from
none to plateau, the filter to
fifths and effect to vibrato light
because they sounded the most
effective. I added a small reverb
and slowed the speed down.
I’m really happy with the way
the music sounds because it has
a dramatic effect.
