1. Production Reflection

2. Process
The first thing that I used was the
colour picker tool to pick the
background colour which is a dark
grey, I then moved on to the
rectangle tool to add at the top of
the page which is a lighter grey, I
also used the rectangle tool to do
the squares. I did two of them
squares to add more dimension to
the page. To fill the rectangles in I
used the paint bucket tool which
made it a lot quicker to do. I’m
liking the way it looks as its what I
want it to look like which is
minimalist magazine with simple
colours but with a pop of colour
to it.

3. Process
I added words to it by using ‘1001
fonts’ to pick the font that I thought
would look good on the cover but also
keeping it minimalist at the same time.
When I placed the words down it had
a white background to it so I had to
use the ‘magic wand tool’ to remove
the background to it.

4. ProcessThe last thing I did for the
magazine cover was added a
picture. I did this at home
with a model so the
magazine had something
else to look at, as well as it’s
a fashion magazine so I
wanted to add a model in
nice clothes to show that its
about that.
I went on to Photoshop to
edit the background so you
could still see the pink
background instead of the
background the model was
standing in front of. To
delete the background I
used ‘magic wand tool’ to
edit the background away.

5. ProcessINVITATION!!
First thing that I used was the colour
picker tool to pick the background colour
which is pink. I then moved on to the
rectangle tool to add at the top of the
page which is a light grey to add more to
it than just having it all pink. To fill the
rectangle in I used the paint bucket tool
which made it a lot quicker to do, I’m
liking the way it looks as its what I want it
to look like as I'm wanting to keep it
minimalist like the magazine, with simple
colours.

6. ProcessNext thing I did was to add the
text to it so people know what its
about. I did this by getting the ‘T’
to add text and wrote down what
I wanted on there. After I got the
text I needed I changed the font
of to make it look nicer, which
are;
With the title ‘Wear It With Style’
I went onto 1001 fonts.

7. ProcessI added a silhouette wearing a
dress to give off that its about
fashion. When I placed the
silhouette down it had a white
background to it so I had to use
the ‘magic wand tool’ to remove
the background to it.
I then added dots behind
the silhouette to make it
look like its glitter making
it stand out more. I did this
by clicking ‘custom shape
tool’ then clicked on
shapes which gave me a
list of shapes and I found
this one.

8. Process
First thing I did was added a
background colour by using
colour picker tool and the
paint bucket tool to make it
quicker to fill the page up
with that colour, I chose this
colour because with the
magazine cover and the
invitation they’re all pink as
well so I carried on with the
pink theme also by keeping
it minimalist.

9. ProcessNext I added text by using 1001
fonts and the text that’s on
Photoshop which I did with the
‘11th May 2018’ and ‘Style it
with fashion’.
I did this because with the
word ‘STYLE’ I’ve used the
same text in every project I’ve
done so I wanted to carry on
using it. I didn’t use 1001 fonts
for the other text because I
wanted it to be different on
each project without them
matching each other so I found
using the Photoshop font
easier for a quicker font find.

10. Process
The next thing I did after
the text was added them
stars to add detail to it so it
attract more people to look
at it. I did this by clicking
on custom shape tool and
then clicked onto shapes
and chose the shape I
wanted which is the one I
chose.

11. Process
The final thing I did was
added a silhouette of a
women wearing a dress so it
looks like it’s about fashion. I
liked that its black which
matches with the text and
the stars so it stands out a lot
more with the simple
background colour to it.
When I got the picture it had
a white background to it so I
had to use magic tool to get
rid of it so it was just the
silhouette.
