Product’s Purpose:
A source of entertainment for people who are interested in the modern film genre. It is also
meant to educate the audience on minor facts about different films in different genres, as
well ascharacters and actors / actresses.
This will be achieved by using iconism from different films to draw the audience in, and
should hopefully attract those interested in multiple or different film genres, as this product
will feature many different movie genres such as action, horror etc. as well asdifferent
facts and information on these films and genres.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre:
Film / Movie Culture
This product is film magazine to educate on different genres of film.
What sort of product is it
Content:
My product is all about modern day films, and how they have effected modern day society,
as well ashow they have entertained over the years, and how far film has come and
changed from how it use to be. It will be looking into different genres, specifically Horror,
Action and Sci Fi, and talking about how they are successful in their own way, and what the
general public think about them. My product will also feature general statistics and
numbers, such as box office figures, and we will be talking about why these films have
made the amount of money that they have, therefore we will be looking in more depth at the
films that have made a lot of money at the box office, and how much time and effort went
into them.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
