The project is a horror puzzle game called "The Mountain's Edge Hotel" aimed at 16-22 year olds of both genders. The main character is a female whose girlfriend has been taken hostage in the run-down hotel. To rescue her, the player must solve puzzles of increasing difficulty across 5 hotel rooms, encountering creatures along the way. The game will utilize the author's pixel art and animation skills developed through past projects and practice. Research into horror and puzzle game design will inform the atmosphere, puzzles, and mechanics. Evaluation will involve self-reflection, peer feedback, and testing with the target audience to improve the work and support future career development.
