Type equation here.Working Title: My working title is called Perdition
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: My products propose is to scare and entertain my audience, as the
base genre of my game is horror. I will achieve this goal by making my game a little spooky
and scarier than the normal game, asthe main purpose is also to educate the audience
about horror games and show how scary a little to no budget can be.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: The genre is horror and I will intend to be scaring my audience
What sort of product is it
Content: My product is about a character that delves into a haunted house/warehouse not
knowing of the consequences waiting for him inside. The character is faced with a battle
with his mind and a direct monster, that keeps popping up to try kill him. The monster as I
just mentioned has a very scary description that I plan to covey in my game, as I believe
and learning from my research that a monster is one of the fundamentals to a good horror
based game. I am wanting to put in little things around the game that the person playing
can find as he goes along the game, little creepy things, not you might not see if you rush
threw. I noticed from my research that lighting is a big essential to a good horror ga me, as
with the lights flicking and the lights on and off it makes the place look creeper and eerie.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience: My audience is for all ages and for any gender as my game includes no really
offensive content it’s just quite scary at times which for some people may offend or put
them off more. A lot like the gender and the age of my audience, the social status of each
of my audience is indifferent to me as any group doesn’t matter if they have a different
social status to me they can play as it’s not offended anyone specifically. The opinions and
interests of people won’t be affected due to the game focusing on a single thing the
opinions and interests of people can’t really get offended if there’s nothing there to suggest
anything. My project would appeal to this particular audience because it has all the things
that the audience is drawn to. Since my audience is orientated towards most ages who
think they can handle the game, I will place things in for all ages so that no one will get
confused by the story whilst playing, also no one should be getting too scared or
frightened as at the end of the day it’s a game about having fun, not to give you horrendous
nightmares.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Research and Planning: I will see a lot of my research propelled into my final production as
I thought my research was very useful and interesting for giving me a good idea of what a
horror game includes. I will also include like mentioned in my research the monster as the
monster makes these horror games, like the monster is the face of the game. I will use my
research when I’m working on my final project as the things that I have just mentioned will
be a great incorporation into my project.
What elements of your research and planning will you use in your final production?
Where will you use your research and planning in your final production?

Legal & Ethical Considerations: I will not be including any offensive material in my product
as if I did I might not attract as much viewersif I did than if I didn’t. Saying that though I will
be using some scary features into it so that may offend some people, but they will be
warned about that before playing. I won’t restrict younger people from playing my game
because its nothing I guarantee they haven’t seen before, I also believe they should be able
to play because they will feel left out if I put a big restriction notice on the game. It won’t
offend any social groups/religions and ethnicities because it doesn’t have any material that
will offend them, like I mentioned before only the horror scary bit of the game may offend
but that’s there decision weather it does. There maybe some offense at religious views as
ghosts and daemons are featured in it. I will insure it doesn’t offend anyone by making sure
anything that does offend certain parties isn’t included in the game. I will not be using
characters or names previously used, I will be using original characters throughout my
work to sure that its my own original work and not a copied version of something else. My
product will be significantly different from existing products because although my idea is
quite the same as other horror games on the market but my concept and characters are
different than others. I won’t get sued for copyright infringement because like mentioned
before my game is different and it doesn’t copy, it also doesn’t do the same as other horror
games on the market which I hope as the player they will be able to notice this and see this.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?

  • 1. Proposal 1 Type equation here.Working Title: My working title is called Perdition What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later Product’s Purpose: My products propose is to scare and entertain my audience, as the base genre of my game is horror. I will achieve this goal by making my game a little spooky and scarier than the normal game, asthe main purpose is also to educate the audience about horror games and show how scary a little to no budget can be. What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this? Genre: The genre is horror and I will intend to be scaring my audience What sort of product is it Content: My product is about a character that delves into a haunted house/warehouse not knowing of the consequences waiting for him inside. The character is faced with a battle with his mind and a direct monster, that keeps popping up to try kill him. The monster as I just mentioned has a very scary description that I plan to covey in my game, as I believe and learning from my research that a monster is one of the fundamentals to a good horror based game. I am wanting to put in little things around the game that the person playing can find as he goes along the game, little creepy things, not you might not see if you rush threw. I noticed from my research that lighting is a big essential to a good horror ga me, as with the lights flicking and the lights on and off it makes the place look creeper and eerie. What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If so, discuss it here Audience: My audience is for all ages and for any gender as my game includes no really offensive content it’s just quite scary at times which for some people may offend or put them off more. A lot like the gender and the age of my audience, the social status of each of my audience is indifferent to me as any group doesn’t matter if they have a different social status to me they can play as it’s not offended anyone specifically. The opinions and interests of people won’t be affected due to the game focusing on a single thing the opinions and interests of people can’t really get offended if there’s nothing there to suggest anything. My project would appeal to this particular audience because it has all the things that the audience is drawn to. Since my audience is orientated towards most ages who think they can handle the game, I will place things in for all ages so that no one will get confused by the story whilst playing, also no one should be getting too scared or frightened as at the end of the day it’s a game about having fun, not to give you horrendous nightmares. Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc Why would your project appeal to this person? Research and Planning: I will see a lot of my research propelled into my final production as I thought my research was very useful and interesting for giving me a good idea of what a horror game includes. I will also include like mentioned in my research the monster as the monster makes these horror games, like the monster is the face of the game. I will use my research when I’m working on my final project as the things that I have just mentioned will be a great incorporation into my project. What elements of your research and planning will you use in your final production? Where will you use your research and planning in your final production?
  • 2. Proposal 2 Legal & Ethical Considerations: I will not be including any offensive material in my product as if I did I might not attract as much viewersif I did than if I didn’t. Saying that though I will be using some scary features into it so that may offend some people, but they will be warned about that before playing. I won’t restrict younger people from playing my game because its nothing I guarantee they haven’t seen before, I also believe they should be able to play because they will feel left out if I put a big restriction notice on the game. It won’t offend any social groups/religions and ethnicities because it doesn’t have any material that will offend them, like I mentioned before only the horror scary bit of the game may offend but that’s there decision weather it does. There maybe some offense at religious views as ghosts and daemons are featured in it. I will insure it doesn’t offend anyone by making sure anything that does offend certain parties isn’t included in the game. I will not be using characters or names previously used, I will be using original characters throughout my work to sure that its my own original work and not a copied version of something else. My product will be significantly different from existing products because although my idea is quite the same as other horror games on the market but my concept and characters are different than others. I won’t get sued for copyright infringement because like mentioned before my game is different and it doesn’t copy, it also doesn’t do the same as other horror games on the market which I hope as the player they will be able to notice this and see this. Think about any offensive material you will include? Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement?
