WE „HEART‟ JESUS – In February we celebrate St. Valentine‟s Day. All year long, we celebrate the love of God in
giving us His son to die on the cross for our sins. We pray that our visitors see that love at Our Saviour. Please let us
know you were here; fill out the Fellowship Pad (it‟s in the hymnal rack) with today‟s date, your name, address, etc.
EXPERIENCING JOY DURING A "CRUCIBLE EXPERIENCE" – Join us for our Bible Study class on Sundays at
9:15 and 10:30am. A "Crucible Experience” is a time of suffering that produces a deep transformation on the inside.
Come and watch St. Paul share his deep inner joy during a time in the "crucible" as written in the book of Philippians.
NURSERY AND SUNDAY SCHOOL – Children toddling to age 3 are invited to the Nursery (9:15am service only) and
ages 4 to grade 6 are welcome in Sunday School (children are dismissed to go to class after the Children‟s Sermon during
the 9:15am service); classes end at 10:30am. If you need assistance, please talk to an usher. If you need a registration
form, they can be found in the office hallway (yellow form in the tall brochure holder by the youth bulletin board).
2011 THEME: HIS LOVE-OUR RESPONSE – In the bulletin today is a „Response Form‟. How might you respond to
the new life He has given you? How might you “stretch yourself” to grow in ways that are new to you? How might you
serve Him, joyfully? Please drop off your completed form at the Welcome Center.
LENT BEGINS SOON…WITH CHANGES – March 9 is Ash Wednesday and services will be at 4:00pm and 6:30pm.
A luncheon will be provided between services by the Fellowship Committee for a free will offering. Weekly Lenten
services will continue on Wednesdays at these same times with a luncheon available each week in the gym. If your group
is interested in preparing and serving the luncheon for a night or two, please contact Pastor Greg.
THINKING ABOUT MEMBERSHIP? WANT TO STRENGTHEN YOUR FAITH? – Classes will be held on
Wednesdays from 5:20 pm to 6:20pm on March 9, 16, 23 and 30 and April 6 and 13. Your teachers will be Pastor Dave
Hatch and Pastor Greg Hovland. This class is used as a path to membership through Adult Confirmation but all members
and non-members are welcome to come to strengthen their knowledge in the Christian faith. The first class will be on
Thursday, March 3 from 5:30-6:30pm and will include a Talk „n Tour. RSVPs requested but not required; please call
Michelle in the office at 468-4065 or email info@oslc-gb.org.
GIFT CARDS…FOR YOUR EVERYDAY NEEDS – It‟s so easy. Just stop by the Welcome Center and purchase gift
cards. Instead of using cash or a credit card at the store, just pull out the gift card you received through our SCRIP
program…many cards are available for purchase today (Festival or Copp‟s, BP or Shell gas, Fleet Farm and Wal-Mart,
etc.). Check the list of SCRIP for other cards that can be ordered for pick up next week. If you have a large order, a
special order may be placed for you upon request; please talk to Julie Richter. Ask about our Tuition Reimbursement plan.
2. REALLY BAD GIRLS OF THE BIBLE – Take a pink schedule from the coffee bar. Copies of the book are available
online or at Lighthouse Christian Books. See you on Ash Wednesday (March 9), for our first class!

BUT Confirmation Youth are expected to attend service (at 4 or 6:30pm). Homework help, study time, play time, etc.

night ending at 6pm for 6th graders and Confirmation students going to class and 7:30pm for high school youth.

Easter Eggstravaganza later this spring. More details to follow. We would appreciate any donations of new t-shirts, dye

8 WEEKS – 2011 is 8 Sundays old as of February 20. Our budget called for giving of $84,518.56 during that time frame
($10,564.82 per week) and we have received $68,649.04 bringing a to-date shortfall of $15,869.52. It appears as though
giving in February increased compared to January; we thank you and ask that you prayerfully continue to support His
work at Our Saviour through the brass plate.
LOOKING TO BRING OUT YOUR INNER ARTIST? – Join us for the next “Sweet Monday” on March 7th! Door
County Artist Christine Kiel will be teaching us how to create a beautifully painted serving plate. This is a FREE social,
including fun, sweet treats, and a project to take home. Please come between 6 and 6:30pm (note the time change);
instruction will begin at 6:30. Come join us and, as always, you are welcome to bring a friend!
LENT DINNERS HOSTED BY LWML – Some of the dinners between Lenten services will be hosted by the LWML.
We no longer have formal meetings, but instead are project-based. We put out pleas for help with specific projects. If you
would like to donate food or serve one of the dinners during Lent, we would love it! Watch for sign-up sheets or contact
Stephenie Hovland (stephhov@hotmail.com), Teri Watt (mrsjpersec@yahoo.com), or Donna Arthur.
SAVE YOUR PILLOWCASES! – When you're spring cleaning, save pillowcases for a new mission project (more
details will come later.) You can drop off donations now in the knitting basket in the collection area.
KIDS‟ ONLY SALE – Did you hear? This year‟s sale is on Saturday, May 21. Donations are now being accepted…
clothes, toys, furniture, etc. Make sure to add this to your calendar so you don‟t forget to donate and attend!
SUPER SALE DONATIONS – Donations are being accepted for the August 20 event. NO clothes are sold in the Super
Sale but we take everything else…furniture, linens, books, holiday items, cookware, glassware, CDs/DVDs, luggage,
tools, etc. We ask that you do not bring computers or TVs (unless flat screen or flat panel) or Encyclopedia-type books.
CPR CERTIFICATION – Do you want to get certified in CPR or do you need to be recertified? If you have an interest
in either, please contact Michelle in the church office at 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org as soon as possible. Our class for
both is scheduled on Tuesday, March 22 from 6-9pm but reservations are required.
PERSONAL CARE AND CLEANING SUPPLIES – As a special project, Sunday School students will be collecting
personal care and cleaning supplies for the Brown County Homeless Coalition and Howe Family Resource Center. Notes
were sent home with students about specific items being requested each week. We encourage all members of Our Saviour
to also donate to this worthy cause. Donations will be accepted through March 27. A list of items can be found in the
office hallway as well as by the collection boxes by the upstairs coat room/restrooms.
WE WANT YOUR GREEN AND GOLD! – If you have any S&H Green Stamps or Gold Bond stamps, bring them to
the office. After receiving a large donation of both, we looked for information on their value. Although the value for each
point is small, when put together into a pot, there is value to them. Please call Michelle (468-4065) with questions.
DONATION CORNER – We‟re still collecting non-perishable food, prescription pill bottles, cell phones and mfrs‟
coupons; bins are on the 2nd floor just past the elevator. The Box Tops, Labels for Education, Capri Sun, etc. cart remains
in the main hallway by the Preschool door. Empty ink jet cartridges can be placed on the cart by the Preschool door (as a
donation to Trinity) or in the church secretary‟s mailbox (as a donation to Our Saviour). We are collecting personal
hygiene/household items through March. COUPON NOTE: Please be careful…don‟t cut too many at one time or clip too
close… the expiration date and bar code must be intact to be redeemed. Coupons expired (up to two months) work, too!
MEMORIAL GIFT CARDS AVAILABLE – Are you looking for a way to memorialize a friend or relative? The
Gideons offers a sympathy card to send to the family with information on the donation you made to The Gideons in their
loved one‟s name. The cards include the donation form and envelope to mail your donation directly to The Gideons.
CHRIST OF THE BAY RUMMAGE SALE – Saturday, March 12th from 8am to 2pm. Items for sale include furniture,
small appliances, toys, books, clothing, etc. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Trinity Elementary School.
