WE „HEART‟ JESUS – In February we celebrate St. Valentine‟s Day. All year long, we celebrate the love of God in
giving us His son to die on the cross for our sins. We pray that our visitors see that love at Our Saviour. Please let us
know you were here; fill out the Fellowship Pad (it‟s in the hymnal rack) with today‟s date, your name, address, etc.
SUNDAY BIBLE CLASS – With only one Pastor today, there is no Bible Study. We will start where we left off last
week in the book of Philippians on February 13at 9:15 and 10:30am.
NURSERY AND SUNDAY SCHOOL – Children toddling to age 3 are invited to the nursery (9:15am service only) and
ages 4 to grade 6 are welcome in Sunday School (children are dismissed to go to class after the Children‟s Sermon);
classes end at 10:30am. If you need assistance, please talk to an usher. If you need a registration form, they can be found
in the office hallway (in the tall brochure holder by the youth bulletin board).
2011 THEME: HIS LOVE-OUR RESPONSE – In the bulletin today is a „Response Form‟. How might you respond to
the new life He has given you? How might you “stretch yourself” to grow in ways that are new to you? How might you
serve Him, joyfully? Please drop your form off at the Welcome Center.
YOUTH NIGHT THIS WEEK – Come for homework help, to study and play and eat a great meal for just $3. Youth up
to grade 6 can stay until 6pm when 7th and 8th graders go to class; Senior High youth are welcome to stay until 7:30pm.
SUPER PIZZA TODAY ONLY – If you preordered pizza from the Youth, please pick up your order in the gym this
morning. If you forgot to order, there will be a limited number of extra pizzas available for purchase so please stop by.
Make your PACKERS/STEELERS Super Bowl party really SUPER and support our Youth at the same time!
CHOIR REHEARSALS – They‟re back! We started on Tues. Feb. 1 at 7:00pm; newcomers are always welcome. Please
come sing with us as we prepare music for the Lenten/Easter season. We can ALWAYS use more singers. Got questions?
Call Judy O'Grady (469-0948).
WANT TO GO TO CAMP LUTHER…FOR FREE?!? – Camp Luther has offered 4 of their „Camperships‟ to Our
Saviour. If your child is in grades 3-8 and has NEVER been to Camp Luther for Summer Camp, he/she is eligible. For
your chance to win, sign up at the Welcome Center today! A random drawing will be used to determine the winners from
the entries received by Sunday, February 13. Winners will be announced on the 20th by a Camp Luther representative.
IT‟S SCRIP TIME – Buy more SCRIP in 2011 (now including Target!). It‟s so easy you‟ll wonder why you waited so
long! This great fundraiser needs you…buy ahead and use SCRIP for your purchases of groceries, drugs, gas, restaurants,
and more instead of using cash or credit card at the store. Check the list of SCRIP; orders placed on Sunday are ready for
pick up the following Sunday. Making a large purchase from Menards, Home Depot, etc.? If you have a large order, a
special order may be placed for you upon request; please talk to Julie Richter. Is your child going to enroll at OSLC
Preschool or Trinity? Ask about our Tuition Reimbursement plan. If you have questions, please call Julie at 339-9984.
2. SWEET MONDAYS ARE BACK AND A BIG CHANGE IS COMING – Sweet Mondays will be better than ever
with the change, so we hope all the ladies mark their calendars to join us in the parlor on February 7! Arrive between 7
and 7:30pm; the program starts at 7:30. Beverages and sweets are provided. Just bring yourself, and be prepared for fun
and fellowship. Invite people who are not members at Our Saviour. This event is for all women. We will be done by 8:30.
NEED A MEANINGFUL PRESENT FOR SOMEONE IN YOUR LIFE? – If you would like to purchase an
autographed copy of Cleared for Takeoff before they fly away, check in at the Welcome Center or at the church office.
The books are $12 each. All money goes directly to the author who was a jungle pilot for years. Very interesting stories!
BAPTISM SEMINAR COMING FEBRUARY 19 – All new or expectant parents who desire their child to be baptized
at Our Saviour are asked to attend a Pre-Baptism Seminar with your child‟s intended sponsors. Our next meeting is on the
19th from 9-10am. Are you expecting a new addition to your family and plan to have your child baptized at Our Saviour?
Please call 468-4065 to RSVP to attend this required meeting.
THOSE MIGHTY MITES! – After 4 collections, your pocket change added up to $415.78! Thank you so much for
helping support the many mission projects. We will continue collecting Mites on the second Sunday of every month (in
February…that‟s next week if you didn‟t know!).
REALLY BAD GIRLS BIBLE STUDY – Sign up now at the coffee bar to order a copy of the Really Bad Girls book for
just $13. Take a schedule, too. The deadline to order a book is February 15. The class begins Ash Wednesday (March 9)
at 5:20pm. Go ahead and grab dinner in the gym and bring it to our meeting room.
FINANCIAL UPDATE – If you are wondering where we are with our 2011 faith-based budget and unified receipts…
the January unified receipts were $36,305.45 and our budget calls for $10,564.82 per week, so we ended the month
$16,518.65 behind. Can you help reduce that last number?
YOUTH NIGHT CHANGES COMING – Get ready for it! Beginning March 9 (Ash Wednesday), there will be no
Confirmation Class on Wednesdays BUT Confirmation Youth are expected to attend a Lenten Service (at either 4pm or
6:30pm). Homework help, study time, play time, etc. will be available, as usual beginning at 3:00pm but ending at
6:30pm. The meal each night will be served by a different church group for a free will offering. This is the only
scheduled time for Youth Night to be held on non-Confirmation nights.
KIDS‟ ONLY SALE – Did you hear? This year‟s sale is on Saturday, May 21. Donations are now being accepted…
clothes, toys, furniture, etc. Make sure to add this to your calendar so you don‟t forget to donate and attend!
SUPER SALE DONATIONS – Is it on your calendar? The Super Sale is scheduled for August 20. Mark your calendar
now so you won‟t miss it! Remember, no clothes for the Super Sale but we take everything else…household goods,
holiday items, cookware, glassware, books, CDs/DVDs, luggage, tools, etc. We ask that you do not bring computers or
TVs (unless flat screen or flat panel) or Encyclopedia-type book sets. If you have questions, please call the office.
CPR CERTIFICATION – Do you want to get certified in CPR or do you need to be recertified? If you have an interest
in either, please contact Michelle in the church office at 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org as soon as possible. We hope to
have classes scheduled for March so call or email now.
PROJECT HELP FOR THE HOMELESS – As a special project, Sunday School students will be collecting personal
care and cleaning products for the Brown County Homeless Coalition and Howe Family Resource Center. Notes were
sent home with students about the items being collected each week. We encourage all members of Our Saviour to also
donate to this worthy cause. Donations will be accepted through March 27. There will be a list of items requested in the
office hallway as well as by the collection box by the upstairs coat room/restrooms.
FAITH BUILDER IS BACK – Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 5:20 pm to 6:20pm on March 9, 16, 23 and 30
and April 6 and 13. Your teachers will be Pastor Dave Hatch and Pastor Greg Hovland. This class is used as a path to
membership through Adult Confirmation but all members and non-members are welcome to strengthen their knowledge.
The first class will be on Thursday, March 3 from 5:30-6:30pm and will include a Talk „n Tour. RSVPs requested but not
required; please notify the office at 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org.

the Live Auction. For tickets or to make a donation, call 737-4780. Check us out at facebook.com/TasteofTrinity.
SAVE THE DATE (TENTATIVELY)! – Get out that calendar and mark Sunday, May 15th for a special Good NEWS
school and church concert for kids ages 3-18. Imagine a concert downtown (Leicht Park behind Titletown?) from 3-5pm
with a cookout available from the NEWLHS Blazer Backers. Picture 300-500 people of all ages coming together to sing
praises to our King. Bring blankets, lawn/camp chairs, etc. Watch this space for future updates on this potential event.
SUMMER CAMP AT CAMP LUTHER – Registration is now open for our outstanding, faith-filled camps for K-12.
View our new video at www.campluther.com. Brochures can be found at the Welcome Center. Reserve your spot early to
make sure you are not left out of this great experience!
INTERESTED IN BEING A CAMP LUTHER JUNIOR COUNSELOR? – The application deadline is February 15.
Visit www.campluther.com for more information and to apply online.
WINTER YOUTH CAMP! – Camp Luther‟s Winter Youth Camp is now set for March 4-6, 2011. It is our third annual
and, like before, we will have much of the same fun that is offered in the summer, minus the bugs! There will be cool
counselors, bonfires, devotions, and lots of activities (the snowy versions). This camp is for 4-6 graders and housing is in
the Retreat Center.
LAST WEEK‟S GIVING REPORT
(Our 2011 approved budget calls for $10,564.82 per week)
Total gifts for ministry: Jan 24-30, 2011: $6,801.00
3. ADVERTISE YOUR BUSINESS IN THE VOICE – We are now accepting new advertisers for our monthly newsletter,
The Voice. A business card sized space is available at a cost of $300 for one year or $25 per month. Please contact
Michelle at 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org; ads can be seasonal/short-term if desired. All ads must be „print ready‟.
WE WANT YOUR GREEN AND GOLD! – If you have any S&H Green Stamps or Gold Bond stamps in a drawer or
box somewhere, bring them to the office. After receiving a large donation of both, we looked for information on their
value. Although the value for each point is small, when put together into a pot, the amount can be something worthwhile
working to redeem. If you have any questions, please call Michelle in the office (468-4065).
GIVE A LITTLE – Our donation goals for 2011 are still the same. We are collecting food for the poor, prescription pill
bottles, cell phones and manufacturers‟ coupons; bins are on the 2nd floor just past the elevator, near the coat room. The
Box Tops, Labels for Education, Capri Sun, etc. cart remains in the main hallway by the Preschool door. Empty ink jet
cartridges can be placed on the cart by the Preschool door (as a donation to Trinity) or in the church secretary‟s mailbox
(as a donation to Our Saviour). And don‟t forget those Coke points for the Youth!!
COUPONS FOR MILITARY FAMILIES – We have sent more than 30 pounds of coupons to a military base in
Incirlik, Turkey. We thank those who clip them but please be careful (don‟t cut too many at one time or clip too close…
the expiration date and bar code must be intact to be redeemed). Coupons expired up to two months are still acceptable!
MEMORIAL GIFT CARDS AVAILABLE – Are you looking for a way to memorialize a friend or relative? The
Gideons offers a sympathy card to send to the family with information on the donation you made to The Gideons in their
loved one‟s name. The cards include the donation form and envelope to mail your donation directly to The Gideons.
ORDER YOUR 2011 CAMP LUTHER CALENDAR – The 2011 Camp Luther calendar contains twelve gorgeous
photos of Camp Luther taken by photographers competing in our first annual photo contest. Cost is $12.50 each (includes
shipping and handling). Send your check to 1889 Koubenic Road, Three Lakes, WI or order online at
www.campluther.com. Quantities are limited! Thank you to everyone who contributed photos!
