COME IN LIKE A LAMB – March came in like a lamb…and here at Our Saviour, we celebrate the Lamb of God who
came to suffer and die for our sins so that we may have eternal life with Him. We ask visitors to please fill out the
Fellowship Pad (it‟s in the hymnal rack) with the date, name, address, phone number, etc. Please come worship again!
ALL CHILDREN WELCOME – The nursery and Sunday School welcome your child today during the 9:15 am service.
Both will be closed next week on Easter Sunday. If you need assistance, please ask an usher. Children‟s bulletins, for
ages 3-6 and 7-12, can be found in the Narthex.
"LIFEMAPPING" – Watch your story come alive through the 23rd Psalm! Come to the parlor today at 9:30 or 10:30am
for Pastor Dave‟s Bible Study. No Bible study on Easter; we will resume on April 11 with a four week study of the Ben
Stein movie, „Expelled‟. Paul Steinhaus, NEWLHS teacher, will lead this class.
DO YOU LIKE TO PLAY? – Additional helpers are needed in the nursery on some Sunday mornings. Jr. and Sr. youth
are asked to volunteer to work with an adult supervisor and play with the 1-4 year olds during the 9:15 service. If you
acolyte at the early or late service, consider stopping by around 9am and asking if help is needed. All Jr and Sr high youth
are encouraged to help. Questions? Please contact Mike Charles at 337-0940 or by email at charles5832@sbcglobal.net.
SCRIP UPDATE – The SCRIP desk will be open to take orders today but will NOT BE open on Sunday, April 4. For
more details, please stop at the Welcome Center or call Julie Richter at 339-9984 or Dave/JoElle Bitter at 437-2557.
ENROLL NOW!! – Don‟t be left in fall without a school for your 3-5 year old. Early registration will help us to
determine if all classes will be held in fall. We are now accepting registrations for the 2010-11 school year - MWF (8:30-
11:30) program for 4- and 5-year-olds / T-TH program for 3-year-olds from 8:30-10:30am and (hopefully) a 12:30-
2:30pm (Note: A minimum number of students are needed to run any class). Call Christina, Preschool Dir, at 468-3596.
„EXPELLED‟ BIBLE STUDY – Paul Steinhaus, science teacher at NEWLHS, will be at OSLC leading a Bible study
regarding the freedom of speech and inquiry within the scientific community as it relates to Biblical authority. The
discussion will be centered around Ben Stein's recent movie "Expelled." The movie will be viewed for the first 3 weeks
and will conclude with discussion the fourth week with an example of this freedom revolving around the "hot" topic of
global warming. This discussion is geared toward adults but high school youth are strongly encouraged to come and join
in. This study will be held in our parlor Sundays at 9:30 and 10:30 am on April 11, 18, 25 and May 2.
PORTALS OF PRAYER – The new April-June issue is in the Narthex. Pick up yours today. Large print in the office.
Don’t put a question mark where God put a period.
PICTURE THIS!! – The sign up sheets for your new Olan Mills portrait for our new pictorial directory will be out
tomorrow, March 29; the sign up until continue until Sunday May 2. Pictures will be taken at Our Saviour May 11-14
from 3:00-9:30pm and on May 15 from 10-5pm. June dates include the 1st, 28th and 29th, all from 3:00-9:30pm. Our goal
is 100% of membership to be involved in this year‟s directory. Please sign up early so that your needed date and time are
available for you. Your entire family, members and non-members, are welcome to attend with you. Additional pictures
can be purchased if desired; no purchase is necessary. All participants will receive a complimentary directory and 8x10.
APRIL 5 IS ANOTHER SWEET MONDAY! – Last time we enjoyed making a recipe that told the Easter account and
went home with another Easter idea or two. This time we're focusing on spring cleaning. We will be taking tips about how
to clean each room of the house. This is not led by a cleaning expert, so we need the sweet ladies who attend to bring
ideas about how to clean, cleaning products, recipes for cleaning products, etc. Bring whatever ideas you use or can find
by April 5. See you at 7:00pm in the parlor!
FAITH BUILDER/ADULT CONFIRMATION CLASS RETURNS – Our Faith Builder/Adult Confirmation classes
will be held Wednesdays from April 7 thru May 26 (6-7:30pm). The first class will include a Talk n‟ Tour. If you are
interested in attending, please contact Michelle in the office at 468-4065. Members can build on what they already know
and non-members can use these classes as a stepping stone to membership, if desired.
RAISE YOUR VOICE – Do you receive a copy of The Voice each month by snail mail? Would you prefer to receive it
by email or just read it online? To change the way you receive The Voice, please call or email Michelle at 468-4065 or
info@oslc-gb.org. Please also notify the office when your mailing address, email address or phone numbers change.
IT‟S OUTTA HERE! – Can‟t wait to get to your spring cleaning done and get that stuff out of your way? Bring your
donations to the church office this week or next. The „Kids‟ Only‟ sale is on May 15; donations are requested by May 9.
The Super Sale date is August 21 this year; we take the kitchen sink and lots of other items but no clothes, please. For the
Kids Only sale, donations (we DO take CLOTHES for this one) can also be brought to the nursery on Sunday mornings.
LADIES LUNCHEON PLANNED FOR MAY 1st – The Evangelism and Fellowship Boards of OSLC have teamed up
to bring you the 2nd Annual Ladies‟ Luncheon. Our speaker for this special event is Jennifer Grogh. Doors open at
11:30am. The cost is $12 per person; reservations are needed by April 22. Please stop by the office or mail your check
with the names of those who will be attending. Invite your mom, sisters, nieces, etc. and plan to have a grand time!
ATTN: ALL VOLUNTEERS – All Servant/Volunteer Sunday will be held on May 16th at 10:30am. You are invited to
bring your best potluck dish and join us in honoring those that keep OSLC running by donating their time and talents. The
regular 10:45 am worship service will not be held that day so that everyone can come and enjoy this fellowship event.
CONSIDER „SIMPLY GIVING‟ – This Easter season, Our Saviour thanks those individuals and families that support
the church throughout the year with their time, talent and financial contributions. We also extend a warm welcome to
many new and returning congregation members and hope that you, too, will be generous with your time and contributions
in support of our work here at Our Saviour. To assist everyone in making the consistent offerings that are so important to
Our Saviour, we ask you to consider making automatic, electronic donations through the Simply Giving program. Please
contact the church office (468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org) for more details.
THE LAST SEVEN WORDS OF CHRIST – The Dudley Birder Chorale at St. Norbert College will present this cantata
March 28 at 2 and 7pm. Call the ticket office at 403-3864 for more information.
HELP LCFS MEET THE CHALLENGE – Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Foundation has offered Lutheran
Counseling and Family Services of Wisconsin a $10,000 challenge grant. Personal donations made by donors before
March 31, 2010 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000. You do not have to be a Thrivent member for your gift to
count in this challenge. Please help us help others by sending your gift today to Lutheran Counseling and Family Services
of Wisconsin, 3800 North Mayfair Road, Wauwatosa, WI 53222-2200. Thank you.
WORLD RECORD BUNNY HOP, HERE WE COME! – The NEW Zoo is organizing what they hope to be the
World‟s Longest Bunny Hop for the Guinness Book of World Records on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 12 noon. The
current record is 3841 so everyone who can help is needed. Participants must be able to Bunny Hop for 5 minutes (you
