WE „HEART‟ VISITORS – In February, we celebrate love on Valentine‟s Day. At Our Saviour, we always celebrate
the love of God that brought Jesus to suffer and die for our sins so that we may have eternal life with Him. Please let us
know you were here; fill out the Fellowship Pad (it‟s in the hymnal rack) with today‟s date, your name, address, phone
number, etc. Please come and worship with us again!
CHILDREN WELCOME – The nursery and Sunday School are in session today. Toddlers to age 3 are welcome to the
Nursery; children age 4 to grade 6 are welcome to attend Sunday School (registration forms can be found in the office
hallway). The nursery is located in the basement; SS children go to class after the Children‟s Message. Childrens‟
bulletins, for ages 3-6 and 7-12, can be found on the counter in the Narthex. For assistance, please talk to an usher.
PRESCHOOL‟S READY – Registration for the 2010-11 school year is underway. Come to the church office for a
Registration Packet. Classes include a new MWF (8:30-11:30) program for 4- and 5-year-olds and a T-TH session for 3-
year-olds from 8:30-10:30am. We hope to fill the T-TH morning session and also offer an afternoon class from 12:30-
2:30pm (a minimum number of students are needed to run any class offered). If you have neighbors or friends looking for
a school for their child, please ask them to call us at 468-3596; we would love to share our programs with them.
2. TWICE AS NICE! – During Lent, which begins this week, you are encouraged to attend worship twice a week…on
Sunday and then again on Thursday for the special Lenten worship services. This week Wednesday, February 17, we
celebrate Ash Wednesday with the Lord‟s Supper at services held at 12:15 and 7pm. There will be no Thursday worship
services on February 18.
ALTAR GUILD MEETING – Members of the Altar Guild will meet tomorrow, Monday, February 15, at 6:30 pm in the
Sacristy. If you are interested in joining the Altar Guild, please contact Jill Proulx at 465-1437.
LWML ORGANIZING AT OSLC – If you would like to help restart LWML at Our Saviour, please come to an
organizational meeting on Thursday, February 18th, at 7:00 in the parlor. We would love to have some creative ideas for
how to run our organization.
YOUTH NIGHT – For youth in grades 6-12…Please join us this week Wednesday beginning at 3:30 pm. A $3 donation
is requested for a meal served around 5:15 pm. Grade 6 leaves at 6pm when grades 7 and 8 go to Confirmation. Grades
9-12 are welcome to stay until Confirmation ends at 7:30 pm. On Ash Wednesday, there is no Confirmation class and
youth night will end at 7pm so that everyone can attend the service. Questions? Ask Pastor Greg…greg@oslc-gb.org
It is easier to give ten sermons than it is to live one.
LENTEN DEVOTIONS – We again are offering devotion booklets from LAMP (Lutheran Association of Missionaries
and Pilots U.S.). Please take a copy to use with your family during this year‟s Lenten season.
DON‟T FORGET – Check the Member-to-Member board when you come to church. There are new items from
members added all the time! Maybe you can help someone or change a life today!
OPEN GYM AT OSLC! – Join members of OSLC and their friends for an evening of basketball. Starting this week
(February 14), Open Gym will held on Sundays beginning at 6:30pm and ending around 8:30pm. Come as you are able!
If you have questions, please contact Denny Steinmann at (920) 826-2007.
SODA DONATIONS ACCEPTED – Cans of Coke and Pepsi products are again requested for the monthly Fish Fry.
Regular, diet and caffeine-free (both regular and diet) are needed. All donations are appreciated.
DO YOU MAKE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC? – The Praise Band sure does and they‟re looking for new members. Guitar
and male vocalists are a high priority; drums and bass players also needed. Please contact Marlys Brunsting at 883-8869.
YOUTH (GRADES 6-12) SKI TRIP TO HIDDEN VALLEY – On Friday, February 26, arrive at church by 5:30pm.
We will ski from 6-9pm. Youth ski tickets are $17 and ski rentals are $13. Snowboard rental is $24. Youth will need to
have a current medical consent form, ski trip information sheet, payment and, if renting, a parent-signed rental form
turned in no later than Wednesday, February 24. Check the Youth Board for details. Drivers/chaperones needed; families
welcome. Questions? Contact Boerschingers - 469-5895 or Fabboersch@aol.com.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES ARE UNLIMITED – Want to reduce the number of empty prescription pill bottles in
your home? Do you want to donate them to somewhere other than the landfill? Please remove the label and wash and
then bring to church with the cap on. We are also collecting used cell phones for local domestic abuse victims and the
„Cells for Soldiers‟ program. Donation containers are in the office hallway by the coat rack. Our collection of non-
perishable food items for the Manna for Life food pantry is ongoing as well and we will collect the items on today‟s insert
for an upcoming mission to Haiti until February 28th. NEXT WEEK we will begin collecting personal care and cleaning
supplies for the March for the Homeless campaign. Thank you to those participating in these outreach opportunities.

LIFE QUOTE – “God will help us make choices that are pleasing to Him regarding our sexuality and help us save sex
for marriage. God ordained marriage to be a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman. He also placed all
sexual activity within the bonds of marriage…. So, rather than saying, „How far can I go?‟ we should say, „How much can
I, and will I, save for my future spouse?‟” Donna Zuehlk, Lutherans for Life of Michigan This “Life Quote” is from
