It’s almost Christmas. We sometimes think we
need to buy and give huge gifts, when really

                                                       A suggestion this Christmas….find someone
who has a specific need and fill it, particularly
a need they cannot fill themselves. That is
what our Saviour did for us!

From his words you could tell, he was aglow
with excitement about his gifts. He tells of
being in many Bible studies at the prison, all
led by Lutherans! His teachers rave about his
new Bible, and he says, “I never thought I
would ever own a leather Bible!” He wrote to

                              A Million Books for Gambia
LWML is sponsoring a book collection for the small, often forgotten country of Gambia, Africa. The
book collection is going on right now. We will have a collection Sunday, Dec. 9th. Please donate a
book and a buck. The buck is to help defray the cost of sending the books to Gambia. Or, if you wish,
monetary gifts are also a need to help with shipping costs. If you make a monetary gift, please make
checks payable to “Books for Africa” and in the memo line write “1 million books for Africa.”
