VISITORS ARE WELCOME LIKE SUNSHINE – We welcome all visitors and friends for our regular
worship services on Thursday (12:15 pm and 7 pm, Traditional) and Sunday (7:45 am and 10:45 am
Traditional; 9:15 am Praise). These service times will continue through the summer. Please let us
know you were here; fill out the Fellowship Pad (it’s in the pew rack) with today’s date, name,
address, phone #, etc.
WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN? – Children’s Worship bulletins are available in the Narthex (ages
3-6 and
7-12). The cry room is just off the Narthex behind the sound board; please ask an usher if you need
assistance. Please ask your children to not use the Rite of Fellowship pads and Communion cards
for scribbling or drawing. Take a few extra Children’s Worship Bulletins if needed by your child during
service.
2. GET ON THE LIST – Thanks and praise to God, our 3- and 4-year-old Preschool programs are filled;
waiting lists have been started. To be placed on the waiting list, please call Michelle in the office at
468-4065. An afternoon class may be started if we see enough interest.
CHANGE FOR PASTOR GREG – Pastor Greg now has a new phone number. See contact info
above.
NEXT WEEK – Make sure to bring your dirty car and your empty stomach and benefit from the first
Brat Fry and Car Wash of the summer. The next scheduled date is the last Sunday in July.
STILL MISSING – Have you these books mixed up with school stuff or DVD's? Under the couch? In
the fridge? Please bring back to OSLC Library so others can read them, too; they’ve been gone more
than 4 months after being checked out just once! Author Melody Carlson: DARK BLUE, TORCH
RED, DEEP GREEN, PITCH BLACK and TASTE BERRIES FOR TEENS. Please return,
no questions asked!
YOUTH AND GENESIS – The Youth group will meet today (and one last week on June 28) in the
Youth Room after the 9:15 am worship service to discuss common questions that people have about
what is written about creation and the Flood of Genesis. For more info, contact Pastor Greg. Snacks
provided!
ANOTHER GOOD DAY FOR A GAME – It was a great day again for a game. The OSLC Softball
Team defeated Bethany United Methodist, 26 to 3. Everything was clicking just right for us and The
Lord was watching over us as, once again, we went the whole game without an injury. John was
there again cheering us on…or maybe he just used us as an excuse to get out of the house. Next
week we need a big fan base as we will play against the defending champions, Cornerstone 1.
Tonight’s game: 6:45 pm/bottom field. Everyone is invited; bring chairs and your voices and enjoy
fellowship with God’s people from OSLC.
SCRIP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – More volunteers are needed to sell scrip on Sunday mornings.
Selling and collecting money is all that's involved. Call Julie Richter at 339-9984 or email her at
julier@new.rr.com.
SCRIP REMINDER – Kwik Trip is paying us 20% on all SCRIP sold from now until mid August.
SCRIP cards from Kwik Trip can be used at the pump or in the store and have no expiration date.
And don’t forget the other SCRIP available for everyday essentials…gas, groceries, restaurants,
discount/dept stores, etc.
PODCAST ANYONE? – Do you use podcasts? Add OSLC’s sermons to your list. The address for
podcasting is http://www.oslc-gb.org/feed/podcast/. In most cases, the sermons are available by
Monday afternoon. You can also download and listen to the sermons at www.oslc-gb.org.
Plan ahead -- It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY – The final Pilgrim’s Progress class is today. Coffee Talk, a discussion of the
day’s readings and how they apply to your life, will be held this summer as the schedule allows.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – Please bring your donations by Sunday, June 28; place them in the
green bin by the Welcome Center. Is your child attending VBS? Drop off in the gym begins at 8:45
am.
WHITE WATER RAFTING – All youth ages 12 and older are invited to raft the Peshtigo River with
Kosir's Rapid Rafts (www.kosirs.com) on August 1st. The cost is $22.50 pp. Check the youth board

supper followed by fun activities lead by Camp Luther Staff. Friends, as always, are welcome to
attend with you.

ASKING for you to consider donating non-perishable food items for Manna for Life. The barrels are
still in the office hallway.
3. SUPER SALE COLLECTIONS – What do you do on a rainy, summer day? Clean out the
cupboards, basement, garage, etc., right? But what do you do with the stuff you don’t need any
more? You bring it to church and donate it for the October Super Sale. Donations are accepted
when the office is open (8am-4:00 pm Monday thru Friday). For large items, please contact us in
early September to arrange pick up or plan to deliver here after September 21 st. (Sorry, we still do
not accept clothes.)

donate items to make their lives a little more comfortable. Their need includes a queen mattress and
box spring as well as a window air conditioner. If you are able to help, please call Michelle in the
office at 468-4065.
LIFE QUOTE – “Dads don’t realize they are heroes because this concept has either never been
passed on to them by their own father, or they have ignored or forgotten God’s Word that mightily
reminds them of their powerful role. Either way, they are left ill-equipped to battle the culture that
beats up on them and tries to destroy their confidence. There is a Man, however, who forgives and
then faithfully encourages every human father to try—over and over again, to be the man God
designed him to be. That Man is Jesus Christ.” Linda D. Bartlett, former president of Lutherans for
Life This “Life Quote” is from Lutherans for Life –www.lutheransforlife.org
