WELCOME TO 2010 – New and old visitors and friends are always welcome to worship with us. Please let us know
you were here; fill out the Fellowship Pad (it‟s in the hymnal rack) with today‟s date, your name, address, phone number,
etc. Please come and worship with us again!
CHILDREN WELCOME – The nursery and Sunday School are in session today. Toddlers to age 3 are welcome to the
Nursery; children age 4 to grade 6 are welcome to attend Sunday School (registration forms can be found in the office
hallway). The nursery is located in the basement; SS children go to class after the Children‟s Message. Childrens‟
bulletins, for ages 3-6 and 7-12, can be found on the counter in the Narthex. For assistance, please talk to an usher.
PORTALS OF PRAYER – The January-March issue of Portals of Prayer is now available on the counter in the Narthex.
A limited number of the large print version is available in the office.
YOUTH NIGHT – For youth in grades 6-12…Please join us this week Wednesday beginning at 3:30 pm. A $3 donation
is requested for a meal served around 5:00 pm. Grade 6 leaves at 6pm when grades 7 and 8 go to Confirmation. Grades
9-12 are welcome to stay until Confirmation ends at 7:30 pm. Questions? Ask Pastor Greg…greg@oslc-gb.org
SUICIDE PREVENTION – QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer, three steps anyone can learn to help
prevent suicide. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. You can receive
this training for free at OSLC on January 20 from 6-7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Open to individuals and families,
grade 7 through adult. Our confirmation classes will be joining this event, perhaps you can too! Invite your friends!
OFFERING ENVELOPES AND GIVING STATEMENTS – If you have not yet picked up your 2010 offering
envelopes please do so today. Offering records for 2009 can be found on the same table in the Atrium across from the
coffee bar. Statements still here on January 24 will be mailed so please help us save money; each one mailed costs $0.44.
YOUTH (GRADES 6-12) SKI TRIP TO HIDDEN VALLEY – Friday, January 22...meet at church at 5:30pm. We
will ski from 6-9. Youth ski tickets are $17 and ski rentals are $13. Snowboard rental is $24. All youth attending must
have a current medical consent form on file, an information sheet, payment and, if renting, a parent-signed Hidden Valley
Rental form. Check the Youth Board for details. We also need some drivers/chaperones. Families are welcome.
Questions? Contact Boerschingers by phone at 469-5895 or email Fabboersch@aol.com.
IT’S PIZZA TIME – On February 7, the youth will be assembling home-made pizzas for you to take home and bake up
for your Super Bowl party. Order your supply of Take and Bake pizzas with your choice of toppings. Freeze the extras
and bake on your next „I don‟t feel like cooking‟ day. To guarantee you get what you want, preorders are the way to go.
A small amount of extra pizzas may be available for purchase on pick up day.

Don’t let your worries get the best of you; remember, Moses started out as a basket case.

PRESCHOOL IS NOW ENROLLING FOR FALL – Enrollment forms are now available for Our Saviour‟s Preschool.
Children must be 3 or 4 by September 1, 2010. Classes will begin ½ hour earlier next year at 8:30 am. We are also
planning a second class for 3-year-olds that begins at 12:30pm. Call the office (468-4065) or stop in to pick up program,
enrollment and tuition information.
CAN LIFE BE SWEETER? – Are you a woman who knows another woman who needs a night to unwind? Sweet
Monday is the perfect opportunity for you to invite a woman to a ladies' night out that is fun, relaxing, and has just a little
bit of Jesus in it (to make it extra sweet!) Stephenie Hovland will be in the conference room between services this
Sunday to share more about Sweet Monday at Our Saviour. Come and see what it's all about!
LITTLE ONES GROW UP SO FAST! – Did your little one grow up faster than you expected? Do you need a toddler
bed for that „next step‟ in his/her life? A toddler bed has been donated for someone if need. If that is you and your little
one, please call Michelle in the office at (920) 468-4065.
HOMELESS MEAL THIS WEEK – We will serve a meal at St. John's Homeless Shelter on Thursday, January 21st. If
you offered to make a donation of salad or dessert, please bring it to the church kitchen by 4pm on the 21st.
SODA DONATIONS ACCEPTED – Cans of Coke and Pepsi products are again requested for the monthly Fish Fry.
Regular, diet and caffeine-free (both regular and diet) are needed. All donations are appreciated.
OUR VERY OWN LIBRARY – Is it possible that you don‟t know that OSLC has a library? Books, DVD‟s, CD‟s and
VHS tapes are all available to check out, take home, enjoy and return. Books are due in two weeks; all other media
should be returned in seven days. It‟s just like the county library system…find the item you want, fill out the card with
your name, phone # and the date taken, and place the card in the box. New items added frequently so check us out often.
CENSUS JOBS AVAILABLE – Check out the information on the Member-to-Member board about test days and sites
for testing for census jobs coming in Spring. Testing is offered in many places during the month of January 2010.
SCRIP – Don‟t forget to purchase or order SCRIP today at the Welcome Center. You can purchase cards for yourself or
to use as gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, a thank you for someone special or any other occasion.
FREE BASKETBALL NIGHT AT NEWLHS – On Tuesday, January 19, members of Our Saviour are invited to attend
the NEWLHS Boy‟s Basketball games free of charge (just make sure you mention at the door that you are a member of
Our Saviour). Boys from the Trinity/Redeemer teams will play a short game during that night‟s half-time activities.
Members of the Redeemer/Trinity 'A' boy's basketball team will be announced at the end of half-time.
7TH GRADE VISITATION DAY AT NEW LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL – On Wednesday, January 20 from 9:30-
11:30am, NEWLHS will host a special visitation day for 7th graders. Visitors will learn about the excellent Christian
education provided by the school as well as meet with the teachers, take a tour, learn about the curriculum and extra-
curricular programs and hear from past and current students about how attending NEW Lutheran High School has helped
to strengthen their leadership abilities for Christ. For more info, please call Kristin or Chris Nelson at (920) 469-6810.
Private tours are available for those unable to attend…and don‟t forget to check out our website (www.newlhs.com).
NEWLHS is growing…come and find out why!

Stephenie Hovland will be in the conference room between services this Sunday to share more about Sweet Monday at Our Saviour. Come and see what it's all about! LITTLE ONES GROW UP SO FAST! – Did your little one grow up faster than you expected? Do you need a toddler bed for that „next step‟ in his/her life?
