My initial plans for my photography portfolio involve capturing Christmas through photos in a natural way, showing the happiness and family feelings of the season. I will take photos of items like deer, Christmas trees without decorations, as well as Christmas food and city lights to show how cities celebrate. I will need Christmas items from home, possibly fairy lights, and to borrow a college camera to capture night photos of York city lights. My target audience will be families of all ages who can relate to the photos and vibes of the holiday. I chose not to make a CD case or hair dye posters as my project due to lack of interest and Photoshop skills.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

The Art Pastor's Guide to Sabbath | Steve ThomasonSteve Thomason
What is the purpose of the Sabbath Law in the Torah. It is interesting to compare how the context of the law shifts from Exodus to Deuteronomy. Who gets to rest, and why?
5. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• The images that I have collected have the colours red, green or white in the shots,
this is because red, green and white are colours that associated with Christmas.
The mood of the photos I’ve collected are different, this is because I have chosen
photos from the natural beauty of Christmas as well as main stream Christmas
with big lights and baubles.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• My mood board has influenced how I will take the shots and how I will use the
focus on the lens.
• My mood board has influenced the angles I will use when taking shots of the
various Christmas items that I have chosen to use for my portfolio.
• One image in particular has really influenced, the mince pie image. The reason
why this image has influenced me because I feel that mince pies are one of the
main festive foods to eat and should be featured in my portfolio.
6. Informal Proposal
Current Idea
Concept For my photography portfolio I want to capture Christmas through my eyes. I will
achieve this by taking photos of the natural side of Christmas like dears Christmas
trees with out decorations and using I think will embrace how I see Christmas. I will
also be taking photos of Christmas food and Christmas lights around my local city in
order to achieve maximum festive vibes through out my portfolio.
Type of
products you
would make
I want my product to be a booklet filled with photos that show Christmas through my
eyes. I want to be able to show the happiness and family feeling Christmas brings. I
also want show how cities(like York) celebrate and decorate the street nearing to
Christmas day.
What you will
need to make
them
I will need to bring in Christmas items from home and maybe also buy a few fairy
lights so that I represents Christmas to the best of my ability. I might need to borrow
a college camera for a night in order to capture York city lights at night.
Audience My portfolio will open to all ages but I will mainly target families. This because I think
that people of all ages will like my product and relate to my portfolio. In order for
this be successful I need to do some audience research on what they’d like ti see in
my portfolio.
7. Choices
Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this
project
Cd case for fake band • I decided against making my FMP project
on a CD case because I didn't’t think I
would enjoy it.
Posters for hair dye • I decided against this idea because I’m
not very good at using Photoshop.
