5. Mood board My theme for my magazine
project is interior design
and I linked this into media
by the photography of my
images, I am looking to
focus on more on ‘ideal
homes’ because I think this
is very creative and I like
the outcomes to these
existing magazines.
With these images I am
wanting to produce
something very similar
with the layout and the
titles. I also really like the
colour schemes because
they are quite neutral
which relates to my
audience.

6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images
styles/fonts/tone/mood
with the range of different images I have chose they are all very similar and
include a lot of repetition. Mostly this is the layout because they all have a
main image on the front and then for the two page spread there is a range
of different images with a lot of text involved, or one of the page has a full
image and the other is information. The fonts are very a like as they look
thin but bold at the same time and I like this idea because I think it really
stands out through the background image and will grab my audience. When
I look at these images the tone seems suttle and calm because of the colour
scheme there is repeated colours of cream colours and greys.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• My mood board will influence my final product because by creating this it
has helped me to have a better understanding to how I will achieve to
produce a project similar to these photos. It has also gave me a rough
idea on my theme and genre in the interior design project because before
this I was unsure. This will also influence my final product because I now
know which photography and image style I am looking to take which will
give my a head start therefore I will have more time to make sure
everything has detail in it.
