Nyan Cat This product is similar to mine because
the aim of this game is to collect items In
the sky and mine as to catch things from
the a cat on top of a sofa. There are milk
pixel art through out the game and the
more milk pixels the cat gains the stronger
the cat is and will last longer during the
game. As you can see on this image the
game is set in the night sky. You can tell
this because the maker has used a dark
blue background and animated stars to
flicker throughout the game. When the
cat is flying in the sky there is a trail of
rainbows following the cat. This adds
interest to the game because the more
colours and different aspects of the game
the more interesting the game is in total

Cat simulator This product is similar to mine because
like my product also features a cat
throughout the game. The aim of this
game is to cause issues within a
kitchen but not get caught. The setting
of this game is completely different to
my product. For my product I plan on
the setting of my game to be in a
garden in the summer. Cat simulator
uses many different colours but the
logo and slogan of the game is
dominated by the colour green. I plan
on using the colour green a lot
because I feel that the colour is very
vibrant and eye catching to the
audience. This game makes it’s
audience want to buy it’s product
because the game look up beet and
very fun and entertaining

Super Gnome
This product is similar to mine because
the aim of the game is similar. In super
gnome the objective is to run up hills
and try to avoid poisonous
mushrooms and other evil creatures
whislt always trying to gain jewels and
super powers in order to reach higher
levels. As you know the purpose of my
game is to catch things falling from the
cats owner. In order to go up levels
you need to collects milk and cat
treats and avoid cat poo and other not
so nice things. This game is set on a
nice summers day making the game
very warm and friendly which
indicated that the game is targeted at
children. I want this setting to be
similar to my own because I think that
that it will draw attention to my game.

products have?
The common featured are that they all have similar tasks throughout the game and they don’t
have lives. Once the character looses its game over with no extra lives. They all use bright colours
and fast moving characters to help draw attention to the games.
• What aspects of the research will you include
within your on work?
The aspects of the research that I will include in my work will be the bright colours used in the
graphics and add some sound to make the game more professional and attract more attention to
the audience I will uphold.

think that girls will be more appealed to this
game more than boys.

because children have innocent and free minds
so they are most likely to want to keep playing
a simple yet enjoyable. Children have always
being loyal for video games and are the main
sources of sales in many cases around the uk.
