Select methods, Media, and Materials
- Computer, smart board, smartphones
- Any materials the students may need to present
Utilize Media and Materials
- Using the computer and smart board I will review expository essays to my students. The
students may use any necessary media and material they need for their projects
(explained in Evaluate and Revise).
Require Learner Participation
- Visual learners: Computer, smart board, presentations
- Auditory learners: any videos, presentations
- Hands on learning: presentations
Evaluate and Revise
- I will evaluate everything my students have learned about expository essays by their
presentations that they have been working on throughout the week. They have been
writing introductions, bodies, and conclusions but those have acted more as an outline
for the project. At the beginning of the week students choose a topic that they would
teach, show how and etc. to the rest of the class. My example was how to make Kool-
Aid. I made a video which students could do or they could do it themselves in class. They
would be using what they have written as a guideline (like a speech) for their
presentation.
