D. Learning Material
Postcard
A postcard is a card for sending message by post with an envelope. Postcards often have
a picture or photograph on one side.
Here are some of the parts of the postcard
1. Date : Tanggal
2. Address : Alamat
3. Salutation : Salam pembuka
4. Body of Postcard : Isi
5. Closing : Penutup
6. Sender : Pengirim
7. Signature : Tanda Tangan

Kuta, March 20, 2013
Dear Sari
I arrived in Bali two days ago. It is a wonderful place. The beaches are nice.
The hotel is right on the beach. I toured the island yesterday and brought some
souvenirs for friends in Surabaya. I’ll be back on Sunday. Well, that’s all for now.

1. Pre-activities(+ 10 minutes)
a. The teacher greets the students
b. The teacher asks the students to take a pray before opening the lesson
c. The teacher checks the present list
d. Brainstorming (remind the students about previous lesson)
e. The teacher tells the students about the topic which will be discussed.
2. Main-activities (+ 60 minutes).
a. The teacher gives the explanation about postcard.
b. The teacher gives some examples about the material to make it more clear.
(Appendix 1)
c. The teacher asks the students to read loudly the example of postcard.
d. The teacher gives the students few minutes for asking about the material.
e. The teacher gives the students’ worksheet. (Appendix 2)
f. The teacher checks the students answer.
3. Post-activities (+ 10 minutes)
a. The teacher gives students few minutes for asking about the material.
b.The teacher asks the students to conclude the material.
c. The teacher makes conclusion of the material.
d.The teacher gives a motivation for the students.
e. The teacher closes the lesson.

  • 2. 2 D. Learning Material Postcard A postcard is a card for sending message by post with an envelope. Postcards often have a picture or photograph on one side. Here are some of the parts of the postcard 1. Date : Tanggal 2. Address : Alamat 3. Salutation : Salam pembuka 4. Body of Postcard : Isi 5. Closing : Penutup 6. Sender : Pengirim 7. Discussion G. Instructional Procedure (Three-phase Technique) 1. Pre-activities(+ 10 minutes) a. The teacher greets the students b. The teacher asks the students to take a pray before opening the lesson c. The teacher checks the present list d. Brainstorming (remind the students about previous lesson) e. The teacher tells the students about the topic which will be discussed. 2. Main-activities (+ 60 minutes). a. The teacher gives the explanation about postcard. b. The teacher gives some examples about the material to make it more clear. (Appendix 1) c. The teacher asks the students to read loudly the example of postcard. d. The teacher gives the students few minutes for asking about the material. e. The teacher gives the students’ worksheet. (Appendix 2) f. The teacher checks the students answer. 3. Post-activities (+ 10 minutes) a. The teacher gives students few minutes for asking about the material. b.The teacher asks the students to conclude the material. c.
