Quick review and recall of fact and opinion
write a short passage of personal writing (no more than 80-100 words) which contains at
least six facts on ‘My Family’, ‘My Pet’ and side by side share your personal opinion on the
given topics

Reading : Passage 1
Introduction of the topic:’ Passage 1 – Gold
Circle time- teacher will read the passage and side by side explain the text .
This can take 2 lessons and will be carried forward to Tuesday 16.11.21
Students will read the passage and after each paragraph they will summarise the paragraph
by identifying the main points orally and on the sheet provided
New words will be marked and meaning written on the sheet provided
Differentiation: Teacher will provide explanation of the text and students will underline the
content points.
