2. Target
Audience
These
ques(ons
were
in
place
just
to
determine
what
percentage
of
people
were
within
the
requirements
for
my
target
audience.
I
wanted
fairly
balanced
results
for
gender,
but
the
fact
that
the
majority
are
female
could
work
in
my
favor,
because
I
plan
on
using
an
a?rac(ve
male
model
for
my
magazine
cover.
This
should
appeal
to
the
majority
of
a
female
audience.
For
the
age
ques(on
I
wanted
the
majority
to
be
younger
because
that
is
the
audience
I
hope
to
appeal
to
so
I’d
like
to
learn
more
about
their
preferences
specifically.
3. Price
This
ques(on
was
to
merely
determine
what
kind
of
price
I
could
sell
my
magazine
for
and
what
kind
of
profit
I
could
make.
It
appears
that
the
average
price
range
varies
anywhere
between
£0-‐£4.
In
order
to
produce
enough
profit
and
also
not
appear
‘overpriced’
to
a
young
audience,
I
will
likely
price
my
magazine
between
£2-‐£3.
4. Digital
Age
These
results
show
that
a
large
amount
of
my
audience
don’t
even
read
magazines.
This
goes
to
prove
the
decline
in
demand
for
print
media.
It’s
possible
that
it
would
be
more
profitable
to
release
my
magazine
in
an
online/digital
format,
which
my
audience
could
access
on
mul(ple
media
devices.
However
the
majority
of
my
audience
read
magazines
monthly.
This
tells
me
that
my
magazine
should
be
produced
monthly
and
not
be
too
frequent.
5. DesignThese
ques(ons
iden(fy
the
kind
of
aesthe(c
that
my
audience
prefer.
It’s
obvious
that
they
prefer
a
smart,
clean
layout
with
a
simple
use
of
colours.
I
can
also
see
that
some
of
my
audience
favor
the
magazines
NME
and
Kerrang.
This
means
that
it
would
be
a
good
idea
to
study
their
layout
and
house
style
so
that
I
could
possibly
intertextualize
my
products
to
theirs.
6. Content
These
results
inform
me
of
kind
of
content
that
I
should
be
including
in
my
magazine
and
also
how
much
content.
I
should
be
producing
a
magazine
that
is
about
21-‐30
pages
long
and
I
should
be
including
new
ar(sts,
tours,
gigs/
(cket
bookings,
reviews,
etc.
7. Convergence
These
results
show
that
my
audience
interacts
with
a
lot
of
social
media
even
when
it’s
related
to
a
magazine
brand.
This
shows
that
I
will
have
to
include
links
to
as
many
social
networks
as
possible
and
also
to
a
website
that
would
consist
of
different
things
such
as
forums,
photos,
videos,
shops,
news,
online
magazines,
etc.
8. Freebies
These
answers
tell
me
what
kind
of
freebies
my
audience
would
expect
to
find
in
my
magazine.
I’ll
likely
include
things
men(oned
like
the
vouchers/download,
band
merchandise,
and
plectrums.
However
I
think
I’ll
avoid
the
more
costly
items
such
as
the
CD,
T-‐shirt,
and
headphones.
This
is
because
it
would
bring
down
my
profit
greatly
if
I’m
giving
away
these
items
for
free
with
the
magazine.
