3. Results: This is one of the feature of the online-survey-maker, it allows you to track
down the answers or results you have gathered in a database. Not only it shows
the completed responses, it also shows the number of visits and partial
responses.
4. Q1: Here are the answers that I got throughout my survey. The survey records all
the answered questions and how many times it was skipped. On this first
question, the majority of the people that took part in the survey have admitted
their interest for indie music and the rest have either said "No" or "I don't mind".
5. Q2: For the second question, I have asked a specific question with specific
multiple answers that can be ticked and this was my result.
6. Just like the graph shows, the top 2 voted answers are 'Exclusive interviews‘
and 'New artist of the year' and the rest are fonded equality. This provides
me a very clear insight and idea of what my target audience wants which I
will then use in order for my music magazine to be successful and
conventional.
7. Q3: To follow up my previous question, I have asked an optional question which
allows them to give a very specific answer. By doing this, I allowed myself to
expand my ideas about what my audience wants (perhaps something I have
not thought about).
8. Q4: The next question is about what freebies my audience would prefer to have.
The survey clearly shows that majority preferred the CD. This may be affected
by the demographic of my audience.
9. Q5: I also made sure that I know what they want to see on their double page
spread. The reason why I asked of what topic or subject they want to read on a
double page spread is due to the importance of hooking and engaging my
audience.
10. Thus, the result I have received gives me clear understanding of how my
audience think conventionally. This graph quickly shows me the lowest and
highest percentage of what my audience wants to see on my double spread
page. By being aware of this matter, it would my magazine to be more
conventional and successful in marketing my audience which then leads to a
successful magazine in general.
11. Q6: Like what I did earlier, I also enabled my audience to be able to provide
specific answers of what they want to see on a double spread page (which is
also optional).
12. Q7: Furthermore, as someone who would produce a double page spread, I believe
that it is important to be aware of how I can hook my audience's interest in
reading a double page spread.
13. Q8: Last but the not the least, as a conventional magazine, It's very important to
know what mode of address would engage my audience more and how my
double page spread would attract them. Therefore, I provided a question which
allows me to know what mode of address and what kind of layout they would
prefer to read. As a result, I noticed a huge number of answers "informal" this
may be because of their maturity and age or perhaps personal interest which
once again may vary based on their age and maturity in general.
14. Reason:
The main reason of doing this survey is because I
aim to gather data about what my audience wants
therefore, as a result I would be able to market my
audience better and since I have a clear
understanding of their interest, my magazine
would be more conventional resulting in to an
engaging music magazine.
