3. The results reflect that the majority of people prefer a magazine that is issued monthly. Therefore, it will be useful to consider this in the design of my magazine and perhaps create a magazine that is issued monthly.
4. My feedback shows that generally peoples desired price for a magazine is between £2-£3. Taking this into consideration, my magazine should also be priced within this range to meet consumer needs.
5. The mass of the people I questioned state that they are mainly interested in music related articles within a magazine. Therefore, a large portion of my magazine should be dedicated to this. However, the results are equally as high for the other supplements so it may be good to have a variety.
6. Most people’s purchases are influence by cover-star and an established brand, as shown through my research. Hence, in the implementation of my design it may be effective to regard this fact, possibly through using a renowned cover-star and reputable brands.
7. From this response it appears that people prefer a magazine to be a combination of different topics and not specific to one type. I shall consider this in the flat plan of my planning section.
8. From this feedback it is apparent that the most popular music genre is R&B, Hip/Hop and Rap. This is practical as that was my original intended genre for my magazine and these results reflects that it should be successful as it meets consumer demand.
9. Some of the most favoured additional features for a magazine appear to be: competitions, lyrics, freebies and posters. Henceforth, in the flat plan of my magazine I shall contemplate inserting these features into my magazine.
10. The feedback shows that generally people want their magazine to be within 100-150 pages. My own design should fit within this amount as to meet consumer demand and should guarantee the success of my magazine.
11. It seems that the frequency of production should be within fortnightly and monthly as this is the preference of those I questioned. I shall consider this for my design.
12. Consumers appear to purchase their magazine in a shop. However, due to the technology of the twenty-first century it may be a good idea to authorize online purchase, as this may prove easier for customers. Furthermore, a subscription may also come in useful. I shall consider these options in my design.
13. The feedback for advertisements appears to be reasonably equal, therefore, in my design I should consider using an equivalent amount of a variety of advertisements to ensure all consumer demands are met. Conversely, there is only one support for careers advertisements, but because of the target audience (16-18; when people consider careers or further education) it may be wise to include some of these advertisements.
