This question asked about
what kind of things the
consumer likes to read about
in a magazine. This relates to
and backs up the previous
question. The 4 most popular
subjects were music, sport,
fashion, and comic books.
Linking this with the last
question it is obvious that I
must include Music, sports,
and fashion within the college
magazine. It’s still possible
however to include sections
on video games and/or comic
books.

This graph shows that the
most appealing colours to the
demographic are blue, black,
and white. This will be
important information to
consider when designing the
colour layout and motif for the
magazine cover and interior.
The audience appears to also
prefer a darker more relaxed
colour scheme as well.

Cost
<£1 £1 £1.50 £2.00 >£2.00
This cost chart shows that
most people would not spend
any more than £1 for a college
magazine, most likely because
students don’t have very much
money. This means that the
magazine itself would have to
be lower budget possibly
reducing production quality.
However this is expected and
quite conventional for a
college magazine and
especially for one that is just
starting out.
