Working Title: Long Beach
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: The purpose of this magazine is to entertain and also educate people of
the artists in Long Beach.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: Hip Hop / R&B
What sort of product is it
Content: My product is about the Long Beach Movement. The official LBC Movement is
brought to you by Snoop Dogg and Young Sagg and is about bringing different artists
together that are from Long Beach. The style of music is primarily Hip Hop and R&B.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience: The product is aimed at an audience between the age of 18 – 30, primarily middle
class males, that are emulators. My magazine will include content about the music genre
and will also include a lot of information about Snoop Dogg that I feel will appeal to the
audience.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations: The magazine will include some slightly older content, but
this will not restrict the magazine from being viewed from younger people. No social
groups or religions will be offended by the magazine, no religionswill be mentioned and no
text or images will offend people as they will be carefully chosen. The magazine design will
be unique and different to ensure that it has not been copied.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
