Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!!!
Peekat the Week:
o This week in Reading, we finished letter Ii and
started reviewing for the Unit Two Test. We
practice our hf words.
o During Math, we played a lot of games that
helped us work on counting, adding and
subtracting. We also began counting by tens
using the hundred chart to identify the pattern.
o InScience, we discussed how animals stay safe.
o The students practiced printing the letter Ii. We
also started working on writing our last names!
Our class is beginning to print questions and
exclamations during journal writing. Students
are identifying the punctuation as: .=telling,
?=asking, !=yelling and“” = talking.
o Finally,we had our Thanksgiving Festivities.
The students made turkey hats! We discussed
what we are thankful for and how we
appreciate everything we have.

I am sending home the rest time items for a good washing. Please return December 1st

Small rest time stuffed animal or pillow is acceptable. No noisy or lighted items.
Complete the Family Christmas Tree assignment. We are excited to share our traditions!
Enclosed is the Review Packet, we will take our test when we return from break.
We are still attending CORE for our special. Gym will start again on Dec. 5th

Coming Up:
o Next week in Reading, we will
review for our Unit 2 Test. We will
review how to spell your child’s last
name, HF words, and numbers 0-9.
Our new words are can/me.
o Inmath, we will continue to
explore Unit 4. The students will
make patterns and practice
counting. They will also learnhow
to use a shape template.
o During Science the students will be
discussing how animals grow and
change as they mature.
o The students will practice printing
the letter Ii,Aa,Dd, Mm, Nn, and Ss.
