Dear Parents,
Over the next couple of weeks we shall be continuing to think and talk about
France. We have really enjoyed this so far and the children are beginning to
use some French words e.g. Oui and Bonjour. We shall also turn our thoughts
towards Easter and Andy (with Basil the sheep) will be coming to tell us the
Easter story.
Activities we will be doing in pre-school:
 Looking at shapes in our number groups and encouraging the children
to recognise circles, squares and triangles.
 Making Easter crafts.
 Doing some big painting of buildings as we continue to look at
pictures of famous French buildings. These paintings won’t be coming
home but we will have fun making them together in preschool.
Activities to do at home with your child:
 Make a picture using shapes or just draw/colour in some different
shapes. Encourage your child to look for any shapes they can find in
the house eg. a round clock, a square table.
 Talk to your child about preschool and encourage them to tell you
which activities they like doing best.

 Thank you for bringing in any Sainsbury’s Active Kids vouchers and
please keep collecting them.
 We break up for the Easter holidays on Thursday 2nd
April and return
on Monday 20th
April. Have a lovely time but don’t eat too much
chocolate!
