Age
• The primary age of my target audience would originally
be 16-20 based on my market research, however, from
knowledge of the genre I will expand my target audience
to 15-30.
Gender
• My target audience will be females
• This is because it’s usually females who can relate more
to the films
• Also, rom-coms are often shown from the females
perspective, but rarely a mans perspective.
Sexuality
• My target audience is heterosexuals
• This is because the film has been made featuring a male
and female couple
• Research showed that people preferred films that they
could relate to
Income/Social Class
• Whoever was to buy this would need some kind of
disposable income as movies are a luxury
• This would base them as Working Class-Upper Class
• My target audience is the Working/Middle class as
research showed people wanted to see glamorous
lifestyles
Ethnicity/Disabilities
• Neither ethnicity or disabilities are relevant to the target
audience
