2. • The audience for my media product will be teens of the years 15-18, my film
will cater for both genders even though my film only features males and I
also and the reasoning for me selecting these ages as the audience because
after doing some research I found that thrillers are most commonly watched
by people the age of 15-18 and it is said that thrillers are a large majority of
teenagers favorite genre. I also see my target audience as the type who
love watching movies with thrillers either there favorites or one of them and
who love to socialize with there friends going out to the cinema to watch
them .Another reason I chose this age group for my target audience is
because I know that they will like the film and word will spread of my film as
the viewers will tell their friends and family who will again spread the word
and make lots of people watch the film.

3. Why would they watch the film
• They wouldwatchthe film becauseit is made mainlyfor peopleof a youngerage and it
wouldappeal tothem because it is about peopleof their age so they are more likelyto be
intriguedandbe ableto relate to the filmas they may knowhow the main character feels
and why he is actingina certainway at times .
• If I were to compare my filmto anotherin terms of similaritiesIwouldsay it was most like
the filmkidulthoodandthat filmalsoappealsto those of the younger years ( 15-18) .I feel
that my product will make the audiencefeel safe andsecure withintheirlivesand the
reasoningfor this is because after them watchingthefilmseeing what happensto the
character and what he goes through they will then understandhow safe they are and
hopefullymakethem feel more secure withintheirlifestyleas well.
