LESSON PLAN Nº 4
OBJETIVES:
- To revise and produce the school objects (chair, pen, pencil, table, bag and book).
- To learn and produce new school objects (crayon and rubber).
- To revise and produce the colours and numbers.
- To learn a song about the school objects.
- To revise classroom instructions.
ROUTINES:
“Hello” song, check the weather, moods, “Goodbye” song.
WARM UP:
We will startthe lessonbysingingthe “Hello”song.Afterthat,we will give eachstudenta piece of cardboard with their
names, so that we can recognize them more easily. Then, we will check the weather using the flashcards and
immediately after that we will ask the students how they feel today, using a ball.
ACTIVITY 1:
 Type of interaction:groupwork.
 Materials:blackboard,flashcardsandclassroomobjects.
 Macroskills:speaking.
a) We will place flashcardsfrom the previouslessononthe boardandstudentshave to saywhat theysee.
b) We will sayanitemand childrenhave topointitinthe classroom.
c) Pupilswill have topointtoclassroomobjectsandtell teacherswhattheyare andwhat colourtheyare.Example:

ACTIVITY 2: Game

ACTIVITY 3:

 Materials:blackboard,flashcardsandclassroomobjects.
 Macroskills:speaking.
a) We will place flashcardsof newitemsonthe board(crayon,rubber).We will pointandsayeach item
representedandpupilswill have torepeatafterus.
b) We will askstudentstotake pencils,pens,bags,books,crayonsandrubbers.We will saya classroomobjectplus
a number and they have to pick up the object/s and show it/them to us.
c) Then, we can ask them what colour that classroom object is.
ACTIVITY 4: Song: “Everyday at school”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZUjc4TYCko
 Type of interaction:groupwork.
 Materials:song.
 Macroskills:listeningandspeaking.
a) We will play the video of the song so that the students perform the actions as they listen to the song. The
objective of this activity would be to revise classroom instructions and to learn classroom objects.
b) After the song is over we will play “Simon Says” so that the students have fun. For example, “Simon says fold
your paper.”“Simonsayspick up your pen.” “Simon says read.” “Pick up your pen and write” (if we did not say
“Simon” and they perform the action, they are out).
a) Speaking: the one who was out comes to the front and gives orders to the others.
 Pick Up your book and read.
 Pick up your pencil and write.
 Pick up your crayon and color your picture.
 Pick up your glue and stick.
 Pick up your paper and fold, fold, fold…everyday at school.
 Pick up your scissors and cut, cut, cut….
ACTIVITY 5: Game: “Blackboard Draw Relay”.
 Type of interaction:groupwork.
 Materials:blackboard.
 Macroskills:listening.
a) We will divide students into2teamsand we will line themupasfaraway fromthe boardas possible.
b) We will say“Drawa pencil/pen/crayon/etc.” tothe firstmembersof eachteam andtheyhave to run to the
board,draw the picture and runback to his/hernextteammate.The processisrepeatedforeachstudent.
c) The team that finishesfirstisthe winner.

  • 1. Date: September, 28th School: María Auxiliadora Institute. Teacher in charge: Paulina Galli. Trainees: Imaz Celeste, Depetris Marianela. Courses: 2nd A and 2nd B. TIMETABLE FIT: Wednesday 2nd A (15:15-15:50), 2nd B (16:00-16:40) LESSON PLAN Nº 4 OBJETIVES: - To revise and produce the school objects (chair, pen, pencil, table, bag and book). - To learn and produce new school objects (crayon and rubber). - To revise and produce the colours and numbers. - To learn a song about the school objects. - To revise classroom instructions. ROUTINES: “Hello” song, check the weather, moods, “Goodbye” song. WARM UP: We will startthe lessonbysingingthe “Hello”song.Afterthat,we will give eachstudenta piece of cardboard with their names, so that we can recognize them more easily. Then, we will check the weather using the flashcards and immediately after that we will ask the students how they feel today, using a ball.

ACTIVITY 1:  Type of interaction:groupwork.  Materials:blackboard,flashcardsandclassroomobjects.  Macroskills:speaking. a) We will place flashcardsfrom the previouslessononthe boardandstudentshave to saywhat theysee. b) We will sayanitemand childrenhave topointitinthe classroom. c) Pupilswill have topointtoclassroomobjectsandtell teacherswhattheyare andwhat colourtheyare.Example: Table.Green. ACTIVITY 2: Game  Type of interaction:groupwork.  Macroskills:speaking. We will saytostudents“Isee somethingpink”andtheyhave topickup one of theirschool objectsthatispinkand thensay “It ismy pencil”,etcuntil theyfindwhatwe spotted. ACTIVITY 3:  Type of interaction:groupwork.  Materials:blackboard,flashcardsandclassroomobjects.  Macroskills:speaking. a) We will place flashcardsof newitemsonthe board(crayon,rubber).We will pointandsayeach item representedandpupilswill have torepeatafterus. b) We will askstudentstotake pencils,pens,bags,books,crayonsandrubbers.We will saya classroomobjectplus a number and they have to pick up the object/s and show it/them to us. c) Then, we can ask them what colour that classroom object is. ACTIVITY 4: Song: “Everyday at school”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZUjc4TYCko  Type of interaction:groupwork.  Materials:song.  Macroskills:listeningandspeaking. a) We will play the video of the song so that the students perform the actions as they listen to the song. The objective of this activity would be to revise classroom instructions and to learn classroom objects. b) After the song is over we will play “Simon Says” so that the students have fun. For example, “Simon says fold your paper.”“Simonsayspick up your pen.” “Simon says read.” “Pick up your pen and write” (if we did not say “Simon” and they perform the action, they are out). a) Speaking: the one who was out comes to the front and gives orders to the others.  Pick Up your book and read.  Pick up your pencil and write.  Pick up your crayon and color your picture.  Pick up your glue and stick.  Pick up your paper and fold, fold, fold…everyday at school.  Pick up your scissors and cut, cut, cut….

ACTIVITY 5: Game: “Blackboard Draw Relay”.  Type of interaction:groupwork.  Materials:blackboard.  Macroskills:listening. a) We will divide students into2teamsand we will line themupasfaraway fromthe boardas possible. b) We will say“Drawa pencil/pen/crayon/etc.” tothe firstmembersof eachteam andtheyhave to run to the board,draw the picture and runback to his/hernextteammate.The processisrepeatedforeachstudent. c) The team that finishesfirstisthe winner.
