1.- The webpage thatwe chose is http://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/article/fairy-tales.
2.- The purposes of the webpage http://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/article/fairy-tales are: educative,
communicative because it teaches young learners specific vocabulary such as family, food, clothes,
parts of the body, and it is also informative because it informs the educator which fairy tales to use
when teaching a class.
3.- The teaching methods that the webpage presents are the teaching of vocabulary, worksheets for
post-reading activities, flashcards, body language, voice, lighting, it arouses the students' interest.
Also, as fairy tales are too long, this page suggests to simplify them, making it into a series of
repeated patterns of language.
4.- We think that the webpage is attractive due to all the colours present in it which catch the children's
attention and it is user-friendly too because it is easy to brouse through the page and it does not
require a password to enter it, so there are no special technical requirements to access this page.
5.- This page is free.
6.- The skills taught are reading, vocabulary (in order to know what are the central words of a fairy
tale) and speaking (in order to interact between them and the teacher).
7.- They can be used for beginners, teens and adults. Hoewever, if we decide to use a fairy tale we
have to adapt it to our kids because they are thought for native speakers.
8.- The resources that we would use with YLE at primary schools are songs, stories and games. We
would read the webpage's suggestions and in that way we could organize our lessons.
