Golden gate
These are all potential fonts that I could use
for the merchandise and cover. For the
merchandise I am thinking of using a font that
looks electric as this will make it look cooler
and make the audience more interested in the
product these fonts would be used on the
front of the jumper and T-Shirt and on the
back of the hat. These fonts would suit the
product as they are easy to read and look
unique and appealing. This will also make the
product more unique and different. For the
cover I want a more normal writing such as
Calibri as it is easier to read and will be telling
the audience what the game is about, I feel
that this would be best for the back cover as it
will suits the needs of being easy to read and
giving information.
Style sheet- Vehicles
I have chosen three images of cars which
will help inspire vehicles in this game. At
the top is an image of a san Francisco police
car, this will be good to base my game
police cars off to make them look more real
and durable and this will fit in with the
game as it’s a stereotypical police car which
will go well with the game and law
enforcement. The two black Audi R8’s will
inspire the main characters personal
vehicle. As the main character will need to
get away from a crime scene quickly this
car will allow him to. I like the idea of this
car as it is fast and I chose black so that it
doesn’t draw attention to it, this will also fit
in well and I chose this because the
audience wanted a classic sports car which
this car is and appeals to them well.
Style sheet- colours
I have chosen the colour gold, black and
shades of white and grey to be the main
colours for the game. These will be all the
colours that are involved in the
merchandise which helps to link to the
game. The colour black will be a main
colour for in the game as it is a dark colour
and makes it easier for the main character
to escape and hide in it. The colour gold
will help link to the ‘GOLDEN Gate bridge’
where the main characters hide out is
located underneath it. I feel that all these
colours will fit in well with the
merchandise and game cover as they are
mainly dark which the primary audience
wanted. It also links in with the game and
are a good combination to make it look
more aesthetically pleasing.
Merchandise- Hat
Merchandise- Hat
• For the hat I made it in a certain way so that it was more aesthetically pleasing
to the primary audience. I firstly made the hat full black as on my research I
found that the audience preferred the colour black out of any other colour. So
I made it black make it appeal to the audience more. I want the hat to be
simple so I only used a logo and the games name to make it minimalistic as
this makes is people appealing and nicer to look at so it isn’t too messy. I
added a to logo of the game to the front of the hat so that it is easy to see and
this is also a popular design with big brands such as Calvin Klein, which will
make the primary audience more interested and appeals to them more. The
logo tells the audience that the golden gate bridge is important as it takes up
most of the logo, this also tells them as money is a key aspect. I used the name
on the back so that it gave some extra detail which makes it look nicer and
more appealing to buy as it fits nicely round the gap. I also decided to use the
golden writing as that links to the golden gate bridge and to money as gold
suggests the expensive material. I had to wait until I made the logo first before
I made this product as the logo is a main part of the product.
Merchandise- Jumper
Merchandise- Jumper
• For the jumper it isn’t too different from the hat. I used the logo that I made
to symbolise the money and power you have in the game and to help link it
towards Golden gate. With the jumper I have also followed my experiments a
lot to make it how I wanted. I used the design from the experiments using the
game title on the front as it makes it more appealing and look real. This gives
it more style which the primary will like more.

Potential Issue Solution
the computer I use might switch itself off
randomly at any point
I shall make sure to save regular so make sure
that I wont loose lots of work.
The computer I chose to use might not be
compatible with Photoshop.
Either complete something else in the mean
time or log onto a different computer.
I might make a mistake while on Photoshop
creating the characters and settings.
I can use the step backwards tool and start
again or I could create a template to follow.
The computer itself might not be working or
might be damaged.
Log onto a different computer.
Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Don’t spill food and drink on the computer Take regular breaks so can eat and drink outside
the room
Strain on eyes when using the computer. Take regular breaks.
Brightness of the computer screen being to
high can hurt eyes
Turn the brightness of the computer down.
Back pain from sitting down Take regular breaks or get an adjustable chair.
