This section will explore your thoughts and feelings about the experience. This will help gain a understand of how your
personal feelings may have impacted the final outcome.
before I started the project I felt nervous and curious as this was a project that I had never done before. I
found that the idea of making a documentary made me think about different ways to make it and the
different approaches.
What research did you undertake and how did it help develop your project? *
I researched the different types of documentaries to see the ways that I could portray it. I also looked into the
different social medias that people used and how much time they used them for. This allowed me to see if the
majority of their day was spent on social media This helped me develop questions for my interview.
How did you develop and improve your ideas throughout the project? *
Throughout the project I tried and experimented with different things such h as the rotoscoping, and found
different ways to make my documentary interesting. I found that the graphics kept the audience engaged and
helps the video stand out.
What was the outcome of the project/task? *
I found that the outcome was successful. The graphics worked really well. I think that if I spent a little more
time on them then I would have been able to make it a lot smoother. I feel that the audio and visuals also look
professional and that the equipment I used helped the process to be faster.
How did you feel about the project before you started? *

I feel that from when I started, I didn't think about any of the graphics or equipment that I needed.
Throughout the time I developed to think about extra things that I would need to help me with this work.
I think that some people would have disagreed on my plans as I wanted to do rotoscoping which was
difficult and took a while. This was a complicated and time full task. my ideas where also different to
what other people did and how they portrayed it.
when the project was completed it made me happy and accomplished as I had finished a project where I
tried lots of new things. when everything is together you can see what is lacking and needs the
improvements. for example the audio and visuals not being as professional.
Evaluation
In the previous sections, you have been commenting upon the project development. The evaluation may include some
similar information but it will also include critical comment.
An evaluation must include information about the good and bad points of the project and it is important to be honest.
Finally, you should make a judgment about the effectiveness of the success of the project
I feel that the good points where the camera angles. I used my camera on the tripod to get the camera to
head height. this made it look more professional like someone was holding the camera. I also found that
the graphics where a really good point as it was something new and different which worked well.
What do you think about your project development and how did it help you to refine your
idea? *
* If working in a group, how do you think other people felt?
How did you feel when the project was completed and why? *
What were the good points about the project/task and what did you learn from them? *

I faced a few challenges with the graphics. for example I had to shorten and extend the clips to fit the
time frame which was difficult to do as I had to do it Frame by frame which also took a lot of time. finally
I found that the audio was quite at times depending on where the mic was on the person talking. by
using adobe audition I was able to improve on this so that they where clearly heard.
I found that the graphics weren't as smooth as I would have wanted them. to improve on this I could
have taken longer to do each from properly. I found that I was lazy when it came to certain parts and
wanted to get it done as quick as I could. by taking more time I could have added more frames to make
It smoother.
Poor
Satisfactory
Good
Excellent
I think that overall it looked professional and the camera work/angles worked. the different scenes also
broke the video up and kept it interesting which I found was a big part that I needed. I think that another
good thing was the audio. with my mic it sounded good RAW but I decided I could improve to make it
clearer.
What challenges did you face and how did you respond to them? *
What were the bad points about the experience, and what could you have done to improve
them? *
How would you rate the final piece?
Justify your rating above? What is your opinion of your final piece? What elements do you
think are successful and why?

I feel that the product that I have made will appeal to the target market that I set out as I have included
things such as graphics. some thing that I thought would keep my audience interested was the visual
effects and graphics which keeps them engaged.
Analysis
In this section, you will focus on the details of the project and make sense of what happened in the project. You should
demonstrate how your decisions informed the project development and the success of the outcome.
How well would your design appeal to the target market?
In what ways was the overall project a success? *
I found that the project was a overall success. this is because it has been set into a documentary theme
and style. I also find that because of this, it matches the original idea that I had during the initial idea.
What elements did not go well and why? *
the parts that went well the most was the Audio and raw visuals. the audio has been edited so that
everyone can be heard as Clearly as possible. I have done this by editing the EQ and reverb. the graphics
went well but took a while, which lead me to delete frames and made the visual look not as smooth as if I
left them in and took a little more time.
What would you do differently in the future and why? *
in the future if I was doing graphics such as rotoscoping then I would make sure to spend more time and
keep the same amount of frames. this is so that It stays smooth. I find that that is the biggest floor in my
product.
What knowledge have you gained that would help you in the future to improve your
project? Also, what knowledge from academic literature and professionals has helped and
why? *
in my next product I am wanting to use graphics such as rotoscoping and the information and knowledge
that I have acquired from this product will help me a lot. It will save me time and allow me to focus on
other aspects that I haven't yet tried.
