2. Audience Profile
Age: I think this game mainly appeals to a younger
audience e.g children and teenagers. I think this
because it is quite a simple game without a story so
young people will enjoy this game as it is not hard
to understand and is easy to play. For this reason as
well however I think that it will appeal to many
different age ranges.
Gender: My game would probably appeal more to
men than women since it is a game about cars. I
have tried to appeal to a female audience as well by
having the option of a female character to play as.

3. Style sheet new
I would like to include a similar pixel art
style to these cars. I like how the cars are
all in different styles and different colours
so there is a lot of variation.
The style of this image is
similar to how I want my
game to look. There are
lots of cars getting in your
way and a lot of different
styles of cars.
This image helps me with my product
as it shows me a way that I could show
items such as cones and bins in a top
down view. This means that my game
can be more detailed.
I am going to use this style of pixel art to
inspire some of the buildings such as
skyscrapers. I think that this will make
the location seem interesting.

6. Colours I will use in my game
Yellow- This is a pretty bold colour so I think I will use it for the logo of my game and for some of
the cars. This colour will also be used for when the car explodes.
Pink- Pink is a colour typically associated with being feminine so I could use this colour for the
car of the female character.
Black- I would need to use the colour black for things such as shadows and tyre tracks.
Grey- Grey would be the main colour that I use for the roads in the game.
White- I need the colour white for some of the markings on the road.

11. Sound Effects/Dialogue
Sound Effects
Car engine- record my dad’s car engine, my Grandad’s motorbike or my friends moped or if I
can’t do any of these things then record the sound of cars going.
Car horn- record the sound of my dad’s car horn
Beeping noises- use Beepbox
Police siren- record the sound of a police car in a game since it would be hard to get the sound
of a police car in person.
Dialogue: Record the voices of me and my friends.
Phone ringing- I will record a phone ringing.
Explosion: I could record the sound of a firework
We will process these sounds using Adobe Premiere so that they sound like they are in a game.
Glen saying “All right”
Menu music: I will include an 8 bit version of the song ‘Push it to the limit’ I will use garageband
to help me do this
Pedestrian dialogue: record me and my friends

12. Contingency Planning

Accidentally close my work Save my work often so that if I lose work I
won’t have lost too much progress
Lose work on google drive Download the work onto computer at college
so I have a backup file and download at home
as well

13. Health and Safety

Wires everywhere all tangled up Unplug any wires I don’t need and make sure I
move them so they aren’t in anyone’s way such
as on the floor tripping them up
Fire in computer room Get out of the building through the fire escape
and go to the meeting point outside
Bags on the ground that people could trip over Move them to a place where they aren’t in
anyone’s way such as under tables
Drink spillages Make sure there are no drinks left around and if
you have a drink make sure it has a lid or is in a
bottle.
