Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• Yes there is repetition throughout the mood board. The colours and mood of most of the products are darker
colours apart from the posters most of them are brighter because they attract the eye more so people will buy.
The titles for all the products if they have them are very big and bold usually with its own type of style, all of the
fonts are white on black giving a contrast. The images include usually one or two characters from a game on the
product such as on posters and disks/cases and magazines. The logos even though both different have a symbol or
an effect like a glow on them and this makes each one unique to themselves but similar in some way. The
advergames are all very bright and look simple however I am having doubts about including one in my final piece.
• The black colour is the absence of colour. Black is a mysterious colour that is typically associated with the
unknown or the negative. The colour black represents strength, seriousness, power, and authority. Black is a
formal, elegant, and prestigious colour. Authoritative and powerful, the colour black can evoke strong emotions
and too much black can be overwhelming. Black is required for all other colours to have depth and variation of
hue.
• Merchandise true meanings are the manufactured goods bought and sold in any business, the stock of goods in a
store and goods, especially manufactured goods; commodities.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• My mood board will influence my product quite well considering it is where I am going to be getting most of my
ideas from. Because of the assassins creed key chain I have decided to make my own logo which symbolises my
game and the doom and StarCraft title back this up. Seeing all the magazine articles makes me not really want to
do them with all of that writing I would much rather make things on Photoshop because its way more interesting
and fun and ill have more time. For all of my final products I am going to have to create my own title, logo and a
couple of characters otherwise I will have nothing to include on these products. My mood board has such a variety
of products on it that I will have to do do qualitive and quantitive research methods just to narrow down the
products for my intended target audience.

Concept The concept of my products is to advertise the video game and in some sense
entertain their target audience.

them
Mostly for the making of my products I will be using the software Photoshop
because other software are not as advanced or I am not educated in well.
Audience My audience will be a younger one from the ages of 10-20 and the majority of them
will be male but their will be the odd female so some of my products could be
female based but not as many as male. This will sell well geodemographically
because many people who live in the same area wish to tend to have similar
products. Any social grade can buy my products because they all range at lots of
different prices because they are all different but if I put a label on it I would say
middle class. The psychographic class of my audience will be Needs Driven, the
description for this is; This group act upon impulse and instinct. This group does not
plan and will respond to messages relating to missing opportunities and impulse
buying.

created enough games and I would have
rather branched out and chose
something different which is why I chose
merchandise instead.
podcast • Because I honestly do not know what I
would talk about or do and I do not think
it would sound very good if I carried the
task out. Plus I think it is too simple and I
would rather do something more
interesting and challenging.

Because of the assassins creed key chain I have decided to make my own logo which symbolises my game and the doom and StarCraft title back this up. Seeing all the magazine articles makes me not really want to do them with all of that writing I would much rather make things on Photoshop because its way more interesting and fun and ill have more time. For all of my final products I am going to have to create my own title, logo and a couple of characters otherwise I will have nothing to include on these products. My mood board has such a variety of products on it that I will have to do do qualitive and quantitive research methods just to narrow down the products for my intended target audience.
  • 6. Informal Proposal Current Idea Concept The concept of my products is to advertise the video game and in some sense entertain their target audience. Type of products you would make • A poster • Skateboard deck • CD cover art • logo for the game • key chains • T shirt designs • Cover art for the console What you will need to make them Mostly for the making of my products I will be using the software Photoshop because other software are not as advanced or I am not educated in well. Audience My audience will be a younger one from the ages of 10-20 and the majority of them will be male but their will be the odd female so some of my products could be female based but not as many as male. This will sell well geodemographically because many people who live in the same area wish to tend to have similar products. Any social grade can buy my products because they all range at lots of different prices because they are all different but if I put a label on it I would say middle class. The psychographic class of my audience will be Needs Driven, the description for this is; This group act upon impulse and instinct. This group does not plan and will respond to messages relating to missing opportunities and impulse buying.

Choices Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this project advergame • I did not choose this because I have created enough games and I would have rather branched out and chose something different which is why I chose merchandise instead. podcast • Because I honestly do not know what I would talk about or do and I do not think it would sound very good if I carried the task out. Plus I think it is too simple and I would rather do something more interesting and challenging.
