Olivia’s Angels
• I have chosen this colour scheme as I think it is girly and they all work well together making everything all coordinated
and well put together, I think the colours I have used are quite simple but effective as it is able to show off the style of
the band and the theme made by the band. They colour scheme is trendy and fits in with what is popular with the
audience making the products suited more to them. I will use the colour scheme to add detail to the different products,
I can add some of the colours onto the T-shirt by changing the colour of the font or the T-shirt itself. I can also use them
as background colour for the CD cover or the magazine article helping the products link with the band more. My
primary gender is female so having a girly and trendy colour scheme will appeal to them.
• The CD cover I have used on my style sheet shows girl band conventions as they have used a plain background and
have the title and band name is bold letters and there is a main photo of the band which is the main focus of the cover
because it doesn’t match with anything else and helps it to stand out and make the band the first thing you see. I am
going to use this technique in my product as I think it looks effective and helps to grab attention for my audience.
• The fonts I have used are very girly to link in with the girl band showing their personalities. The font used are easy to
read and are bold helping them be eye catching for the audience to recognize the band by the font used. I am going to
use one of the fonts on all of my products as it stands out from the rest of the product so that it is obvious what/who is
being shown. From the existing products I have used on my style sheet you can see that using fonts on my products will
be effective as the products shown on my style sheet have fonts. The existing CD cover has 2 different fonts for the title
of the album and then another for the name of the band, this helps to grab attention to different things on the cover.
On the existing magazine article there is a different font for the title and opening of the magazine compared with the
main text of the article, this helps to make it the first thing you see when you see the article to grab the audience
attention. I am going to include this on my products to grab attention and make more important details eye catching.
• The images I have included are existing products on what products I am planning on making, this helps to see what
details I can include on my products to make them look realistic and something that my audience will appeal to. I chose
the existing CD cover as it uses a similar colour scheme to what I am going to use on my product and has a main photo
of the band which I also something I am going to include.
• The existing T-shirt is similar to how I want my product as it also includes a photo of the band in the middle and has the
name of the band. It is colourful and shows different personalities of the band, this is something I am going to do on
my T-shirt as I feel it will appeal to my target audience and help to show themes and personality of my band.
• The layout of my existing magazine article is how I would like to set out my magazine as I think it looks good and gives
me space to include a photo and text. I will use this sort of layout for my product as it makes the product look effective
and realistic. It also has a similar colour scheme to what mine is going to be with the pink helping it appeal to my
audience and the rest of my products theme. The text is also set out in columns which I what I am going to include on
my magazine article as it helps to show what the product is straight away and makes it look effective and realistic for
my audience.
Layout 1
Name of the album
I used pink from my colour scheme as
the background for my CD cover as it
suggests a theme for the band and is
easy to see that it is a girl band. I also
used a font from my style sheet as the
title for my CD cover. The photo used on
my layout is similar to my style sheet
with a similar pose used and all
coordinated with white shirts making
them look more like a band.
All ideas used on this layout are taken
from my style sheet as it all matches and
it looks effective and will appeal to my
target audience.
Layout 2
Write about the band, how they met, names, ages,
interesting things the audience can connect to or relate
to.
Write in columns to make it look more realistic and
effective
I used pink as the main background
colour for the magazine colour, I used
this colour because it matches with
my colour scheme from my style sheet
and it also the same colour as my CD
cover making it all match together
creating a theme with the products.
I used a font from my style sheet as
the title for my magazine article this
makes it stand out the most as it is a
different font from the rest of the text
on the article making the title stand
out the most making it eye catching
for the audience to see who the
article is about.
The pose that the band is doing is
similar to how the models seen on my
style sheet are and show straight
away that a girl band is being shown.
Layout 3
This a similar design to the existing product
on my style sheet as it is just a plain T-shirt
and includes a photo of the band.
The font I have used if the same as I have
used on my other 2 products as I think it looks
girly and fits with the theme of my band.
the main colour is white with a pop of colour
from the angel halo which is a detail that runs
through all the products to create another
theme. With it being white it helps to not be
the main focus. The photo I have used on the
T-shirt is bright and creates more colour to
the T-shirt. It also helps grab attention and be
the main focus of product so you can see
straight away who the T-shirt is by and who
the band is.

Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Camera when taking photos may run
out of storage/battery.
Make sure that you have extra charged batteries and empty
memory cards so you can complete the project with the best
ability.
Not enough images to suit the
project
Bad quality photos
When taking the photos for your project make sure to take extra
photos just incase they aren’t what you need if you have extra it
gives you more to work with. Also make sure the camera is in
focus and still so that the photos come out with good quality and
look more effective.
Software could shutdown When making the project keep saving your work to make sure that
if a problem happens then you have the most updated version of
your work.
Computer may shutdown/break Make sure the resource you are using are a reliable computer and
keep saving just incase it shutdown to keep all your work.
Models may not be free on the day Arrange a day when everybody you need is free so that you are
able to get the photos needed for your project.
Files getting corrupted Save in multiple places, Email it to yourself or save to a memory
stick
Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be avoided?
Working on a computer all the time can
cause eye strain.
Make sure to take breaks from time to time to rest your
eyes to stop causing problems.
Computers can be bright and looking at
them for a long time can cause headaches.
Take breaks from the computer to stop headaches also
make sure to keep hydrated and turn the brightness down if
needed.
The computer you are using could over heat
causing it to shut down.
If you have another computer switch between the two
when one starts to over heat. If not make sure you keep
saving to incase it does shut down you have the most
recent of your work.
The setting you want your photos to be
taken in may be dangerous or not suitable.
Think of an appropriate place for your photos to be taken
with a sensible setting to stop anything dangerous or
harming happen.
Sitting at a computer all day can cause
backache.
Make sure to take regular breaks and move around to
prevent this problem.

The existing CD cover has 2 different fonts for the title of the album and then another for the name of the band, this helps to grab attention to different things on the cover. On the existing magazine article there is a different font for the title and opening of the magazine compared with the main text of the article, this helps to make it the first thing you see when you see the article to grab the audience attention. I am going to include this on my products to grab attention and make more important details eye catching. • The images I have included are existing products on what products I am planning on making, this helps to see what details I can include on my products to make them look realistic and something that my audience will appeal to. I chose the existing CD cover as it uses a similar colour scheme to what I am going to use on my product and has a main photo of the band which I also something I am going to include. • The existing T-shirt is similar to how I want my product as it also includes a photo of the band in the middle and has the name of the band. It is colourful and shows different personalities of the band, this is something I am going to do on my T-shirt as I feel it will appeal to my target audience and help to show themes and personality of my band. • The layout of my existing magazine article is how I would like to set out my magazine as I think it looks good and gives me space to include a photo and text. I will use this sort of layout for my product as it makes the product look effective and realistic. It also has a similar colour scheme to what mine is going to be with the pink helping it appeal to my audience and the rest of my products theme. The text is also set out in columns which I what I am going to include on my magazine article as it helps to show what the product is straight away and makes it look effective and realistic for my audience.
  • 4. Layout 1 Name of the album I used pink from my colour scheme as the background for my CD cover as it suggests a theme for the band and is easy to see that it is a girl band. I also used a font from my style sheet as the title for my CD cover. The photo used on my layout is similar to my style sheet with a similar pose used and all coordinated with white shirts making them look more like a band. All ideas used on this layout are taken from my style sheet as it all matches and it looks effective and will appeal to my target audience.
  • 5. Layout 2 Write about the band, how they met, names, ages, interesting things the audience can connect to or relate to. Write in columns to make it look more realistic and effective I used pink as the main background colour for the magazine colour, I used this colour because it matches with my colour scheme from my style sheet and it also the same colour as my CD cover making it all match together creating a theme with the products. I used a font from my style sheet as the title for my magazine article this makes it stand out the most as it is a different font from the rest of the text on the article making the title stand out the most making it eye catching for the audience to see who the article is about. The pose that the band is doing is similar to how the models seen on my style sheet are and show straight away that a girl band is being shown.
  • 6. Layout 3 This a similar design to the existing product on my style sheet as it is just a plain T-shirt and includes a photo of the band. The font I have used if the same as I have used on my other 2 products as I think it looks girly and fits with the theme of my band. the main colour is white with a pop of colour from the angel halo which is a detail that runs through all the products to create another theme. With it being white it helps to not be the main focus. The photo I have used on the T-shirt is bright and creates more colour to the T-shirt. It also helps grab attention and be the main focus of product so you can see straight away who the T-shirt is by and who the band is.

Take breaks from the computer to stop headaches also make sure to keep hydrated and turn the brightness down if needed. The computer you are using could over heat causing it to shut down. If you have another computer switch between the two when one starts to over heat. If not make sure you keep saving to incase it does shut down you have the most recent of your work. The setting you want your photos to be taken in may be dangerous or not suitable.
