Affirmative action is an action taken by an organization to select on the basis of race, gender, or
ethnicity by giving due preferences to minorities like women and races being not adequately
represented under the existing employment. To make the presentation of all these compositions almost

As a source, the letters are both useful and not. The good thing about the letters is that they show how
the soldiers felt about the war and how they were able to deal with the constant fighting and the
conditions they were in. It goes on from day to day: alternately awful marches and then a whole day s
inactive vegetating; heat and cold; too much to eat and then a long spell of hunger. The downside is
that they do not give an overview of the war or tell the reader what is happening everywhere else at all

On February 10, 2017, I attended Chris Botti s nearly sold out show at the Hilbert Circle Theater. This
was the most brilliant performance I have ever seen. While I was not familiar with Botti before the
show, I had been asked on a date by a guy from church who was a fan of his work. After having dinner
at Oceanaire, we arrived at the Hilbert Circle Theatre, where women were dressed from casual attire
with black pants to full length ball gowns with mink fur coats, while the men wore suits or sports

Oregon Shooting at Umpqua College On October 1, 2015, a tragic and senseless shooting occurred in
Oregon at Umpqua Community College that led to the death of eight students and one assistant
professor (Vanderhart). Immediately following the shooting, the all too familiar flurry of promises and
