reporters and the public. There can be three types of clerks present at court the law clerk, clerk of

defense attorney. The Prosecutor and Judge were observed more during my court observation. The
Defense attorney wasn t observed as much because the defendants waived the right to an attorney
on some cases.

ABSTRACT Throughout history, there have been many studies conducted regarding different
biological branches of the complex study of life. Amylase, an enzyme that catabolizes starch
polymers, is one of the most important enzymes needed for the production of certain foods, such as
syrups, and different processes such as fermentation. Like everything s biological nature, these
certain enzymes are affected by different factors ranging from pH levels to temperature. Finding out
the temperature at which these enzymes reach their optimal condition (conditions at which these
enzymes work the best), is one of the most revealing studies of all. In this experiment, the affect that
temperature has on the enzymatic activity of Amylasewas the leading role, whether it was to
determine if it was slowing it down or speeding it up. For both experiments, iodine was used as the
control. First, the optimal temperatures of fungal Amylase were tested. For this particular task,
there was not too much changed noticed. For most of the temperatures, the activity change seen
was very minimal. With iodine and starchby itself, the activity remained the same as well as with
the amylase at the 85 degrees test. When testing for the bacterial Amylase, the most change was

The movie Good Will Hunting an American Drama Film was directed by Gus Van Sant, and

1997. This movie is about a man named Good Will Hunting who was a genius but chose not to
live as a genius because of fear of past experiences and the ill treatment he received when he was
in foster home. Some of the other characters in the movie were supportive and some were not
supportive of him. This essay discusses Good Will s personality traits and his interaction with the
other characters in the movie. Good Will Huntingpossessed the following personality traits,
namely: independence, intense interest in a problem, and the need for stimulation. Good Will
Hunting was independent because he chose to live his own way and not conforming himself to
society s pressure. Good Will Hunting proved his independence by self imposed limitation,
meaning limiting his ability to enjoy complete freedom. Throughout the movie, he rejected his

counselling sessions with Good Will Hunting that we learned, Sean Maguire, was also talented in
advanced mathematics, but rejected the opportunity to teach at Harvard and chose to teach at a
local community college instead. Similarly, Good Will Hunting chose to remain a janitor or a
construction worker where he was more comfortable. Not just did he poses the trait of
independency, he also had the character of intensity of interest in a problem. As per his intensity of

major theme about freedom with the use of a few characters, a basic setting, and plot. This text

break the news of Louis husband s death because she had a heartproblem. In the middle of the text,

Before reading this book, I honestly knew little about Native American. I knew that many lived
on reservations, but I knew nothing about those reservations. By being brutally honest, Sherman
Alexie provided incite to how the everyday life of a teenage Native American is like. This book
opened my eyes to the problems that Native American s face, that I was in the dark about before.
Life on a reservation is a lot different than I would have thought it to be. Many people, including
myself think about teepees, people running around half naked with a flowery headdress on
chanting ritual songs, and others sitting around smoking their pipes. This, however, as Alexie
pointed out, far from the truth. In reality, most Native American children had many things in
common with every other American. Most live in a house and went to school, just like every

My Soccer Experience
The first soccer match I can recall watching was on a black, chunky TV screen back in my
motherland, Laos. My astonishment was real. I watched in awe as the players dribbled the ball,
