the class of photo luminescent materials that were reported to be non toxic and biocompatible. In
terms of shape and internal structure they are largely considered to be quasi spherical Nano entities
with diameter ranging from 3 30 nm. Their elemental content, C dots characteristically contains a
large amount of carbon (at least 44.50%), along with Hydrogen and Oxygen, in addition to

involved needed further enhancement and investigations in terms of quantum yield, biocompatibility
and surface functionalization. In principle, surface passivation is a very effective technique to improve

Assessment of the competence of C dots modification as a bioimaging agent. This will be done in
collaboration with researchers in Pharmacy.

I was amazed by the movie not only because it revealed the complicated inner conflict of Ben
Campbell, but also because the exciting counting cards method presented throughout the scenes. The
movie describes a boy, Ben Campbell, who is hard working and outstanding in his class. However,
Campbell needed money to apply for Harvard University Medical school. In the movie, Campbell
complained to his friends that he couldn t dazzle the admission officer because he s done nothing. Ben
was a student who crushed exams and showed up early day by day. He gave up his personal time for
fun, which caused his lack of life experience. Though I think life experience doesn t have to be as
crazy as counting card at Vegas, a person at least needs to feel passion in his life. In the end, Ben
dazzled the admission officer and won scholarship for Med school. His achievement was a result of

developmental disability diagnoses continue to rise across the nation, there is a greater need for
comprehensive services and programs designed to address the needs of these individuals. At Advocate
Illinois Masonic Pediatric Developmental Center, the behavioral psychology program is one of five
programs aimed to assist children with disabilities to be able to function across environments.
Behavioral issues are a common occurrence in children diagnosed with a developmental disability.
Some behaviors can be easily redirected, while more aggressive, self injurious and harmful behaviors
can sometimes lead to hospitalization. The main objective of the behavioral psychology program is to
provide parent focused training to implement strategies and skills to reduce behaviors and the amount
of hospitalizations of children with disabilities.
B. Specific Objectives of Projected Research Currently at the Pediatric Developmental center, the
waitlist for services is very long. Some families are waiting up to two years to begin receiving
individual behavior therapy services after the initial parent training requirement of the behavior
psychology program. In addition, current data collection protocols have been determined to be
inadequate measures of effectiveness within the program by program stakeholders. There is a need for
