The play The Typists is a play about a time in WW2 how these women s who write
letters to families whose sons have passed away when serving in the military and
do not realize how things could be hard for them to know what would it be like if

consists of a protein called keratin. The scale structure of a reptile are not
individual like those of a fish, but are a continuous sheet of epidermal tissue. Hard
shelled eggs provide a protective environment in which the embryo can develop and
enables reptiles to lay their eggs in dry environments. On the other hand, amphibians
must lay their eggs in or near water. The reptilian skeleton differs from other
vertebrates in many ways. For example, reptiles have many bones in their lower jaw
to enable them a greater bite mobility, but mammals only have one bone in their
lower jaw called the mandible. Mammals ears consist of three bones(the malleus,
incus, and stapes) while reptiles have just one bone(stapes). Reptiles also have only
one occipital condyle(a protrusion on the skull that forms a joint that enables
movement of the head) mammals on the other hand consist of two occipital condyles
(Laura Klappenbach 2014).
Scientists say reptiles evolved from amphibians 340 million years ago. The first

On Saturday, June 15 I attended the Civil War and American Art exhibit at the
New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. There were a number of different people
who were present on this occasion. I believe there were so many people there
because this is one of the better known art galleries throughout New York.
Additionally, the fact that today was part of the weekend probably contributed to
the massive crowds of people present. Not everyone was there to attend the Civil
War and American Art exhibit, however; there were several other exhibits taking
place in different locations throughout the museum that day. The exhibit contained
upwards of 20 photographs and at least 60 paintings. One of the most agreeable
things about the works of art that I witnessed is that collectively, they assisted in
recounting the sentiment that gripped the country during the war that threatened to
sunder it. One could almost feel the initial enthusiasm as the war broke out, that
was swiftly prolonged by numerous clashes over a period of years. There were
works that alluded to an impending war, ones that depicted that war, and numerous
ones that hinted at a hoped for ending in which the mightiness of the country would
someday be restored. One of the pieces that I found to be the most moving was
Frederic Edwin Church s Our Banner in the Sky , which was painted during the war
s outset in 1861. This is one of the pieces in which the enthusiasm for the war was

Mental illness is a problem that occurs in all nations around the world. This is even
more true for the populations in correctional facilities for both men and women. The
overwhelming number of persons in correctional facilities with health issues is
caused by: the rational that people with mental health disorders are a threat to
society; narrow mindedness and low tolerance for people who are different from us;
no resources to acquire the proper care needed. These mental health problems may
have occurred prior to incarceration, and may nurtured further by the stressful
environment of prisons, or they may have also been caused by being incarcerated in
the first place in addition to other prior issues. Correctional facilities is not the place
for the mentally ill, instead they should be treated for there illnesses. The purpose of
this paper is to depict both the problem of inmates with mental health disorders in
correctional facilities and the challenges faced by correctional staff. Secondly, denote
possible interventions (treatment) for inmates with mental health issues. Next,
support this information with studies about mental health in correctional facilities.
Lastly, offer reasons it is important to combat the problem of mental illness in
correctional facilities in order to better serve their well being needs.

The impact on today s society has shown us how far science has come. From the
release of the evolution theory in 1859, to today, science has changed phenomenally.
The effect on society back in the 19th century was the outstanding criticism that was
brought out by this theory. It changed people s beliefs, views and their overall
thought on the world. Today many things have changed; there have been
investigations into the evolution theory, discoveries of bones and many more things
which have also changed many people s perspectives.
Charles Darwin s book sparked large debates across the world, large numbers of
reviews, critiques and negative responses were published. When Darwin released

on his fellow scientists than the public. Through all this, Darwin largely kept his

plants, animals (including humans), adding to the large amount of evidence he had
