flashbacks of all the murders he had his men commit. The look on his face was as
if he had a guilty conscience. While the baby was being baptized Michael answered
the questions the priests was asking as if he was baptizing himself, thinking it
would wash his sins away. This clip has a lot of shots between the baptizing and the

There are many conflicts present in the book The Glass Castle. To begin, there the
external conflict present between the Walls family and where they live at any
given moment. The Walls family, not having a lot, are forced to adapt to the less

Mountain, there were excess animals there and Rose Mary, refused to kill the flies
that always filled the house; she said they were nature s food for the birds and lizards

Because of their bias they couldn t resist the temptation to show them that god is
giving them all of the lakes, rivers, earth, and sky so they should be thanking him,
not each one of these individually. Another thing that is very important to the
Indigenous people, are their dreams. They are using their dreams in many different
ways, but one important way is to help someone who is sick. The captain visits the

Mendel was able to discover the basic laws of inheritance. Years later genetics would

melanogaster or the common fruit fly has been studied in depth for its great
advantages, such as size, reproduction rate, ease of care and inexpensive room and

In this experiment we tested to see what the offspring of an unknown cross of an F1
generation would produce. After observing the F2 generation and recording the data
we found some of the Drosophila showed mutations, two in particular. The mutations
were the apterus wings, and sepia eyes. After collecting our data through
observation, a Chi test was conducted resulting in a Chi value of 5.1 and a p value
of .2. Since the p value was greater than 0.05, there was no significant change in the
data. This proved that the Drosophila flies still followed the Mendelian genetics of a
9:3:3:1 ratio.

(UAE) began to make plans to distance itself from the petroleum industry that

surface of the water. The final step was to dredge over 8,500,000 m3 (302,000,000
ft3) of ocean sand onto the top of the base structure in order to create habitable

In the face of climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions is not only a nation
s essential task but also a global duty. Because of poorly regulated emissions, some
greenhouse gases will remain in the Earth s atmosphere for thousands of years. The
mitigation of global environmental emergencies requires uniform international
standards and established rules. Therefore, international policy coordination by
multilateral agreement is indispensable. This policy paper aims to discuss
participation in the Kyoto Protocol Extension is worthwhile and what benefits and
burdens await the nation taking part in the efforts towards emissions reduction.
Analysis
To begin with, several facts must be considered: (1) policy and economic
implications, (2) cost benefit analysis, and (3) global ethics.
Policy and Economic Implications. The environment is a type of public good, and
the market usually does not adequately protect the common resources which forces
global community to bear the cost of environmental degradation and other negative
consequences thus causing dead weight loss and market failure. This is known as
the classic free rider problem and the paradox known as the tragedy of the commons
(Mankiw, 2012, p. 224). Negative externalities associated with the global climate
change are examples of a type of market failure (Gruber, 2013, p.123). It stresses the

reached epidemic levels in the United States (Brolin 2793). Whereas, morbid
obesity is defined as a weight of 100% over ideal body weight, with a BMI of 40 or

The relationship between mental health disorders and obesity can lead to
unhealthy lifestyles, resulting in depression, mood disorders, anxiety, and low self
esteem (Gatineau and Dent 15). The psychological aspects of obesity are vigorous,
