When I first started to think about what the theme of my lesson was going to be, I
immediately thought about my preschool and pre k students that I work with on a
daily basis. What are they learning now? What are some important concepts in life
that haven t been taught in depth? What concept can be difficult to comprehend

I am new to the profession of education, but where I lack in experience I make up
for it when it comes to my enthusiasm and willingness to learn more. My first field
experience was at Milton Union high school, and it was also the most scared I ve
ever been in the classroom. However, when I went to Stivers School for the Arts
things got even better I felt more prepared. This year I m back at Stivers and so far
everything has been good, and I really enjoy working with my cooperating teacher.
This year will be a test of my endurance and capabilities. I am up to the challenge to
work with students who are linguistically diverse, even though I know it might be
difficult at times. Studying Spanish for six years half in high school and college
have given me an idea of how disorienting it is to not understand the language. Not
only is it disorienting it is also very challenging, because languages are all unique in
vocabulary and grammar structure. These experiences will become of aid to me
when I m working with ESL students in the classroom. One thing that I am excited
about in the syllabi is the Socratic Seminars on page three. We will be having one

Liver fibrosis is the typical end stage, pathological process that follows chronic
hepatitis C(CHC)viral infection or other disorders of the liver.[1] Fibrosis is a
dynamic scarring process in which chronic inflammation stimulates production and
accumulation of collagen and extracellular matrix proteins as described in other
articles. [1, 2] Over time patients with CHC viral infection experience a remodelling
of the total collagen content. This progressive remodelling causes liverfibrosis, which
can lead to liver cirrhosis.[3 5]
Hepatic fibrosis and cirrhosis are potentially reversible with timely intervention. [1]
To achieve the best possible outcome, treatment must be initiated in the early stages
of liver fibrosis.[1] Another benefit of timely treatment of fibrosis and cirrhosis is the
prevention of hepato cellular carcinoma.[3, 6] Additionally, in patients with chronic
hepatitis C,anti viral treatment is indicated with severe fibrosis. [3, 6]Therefore,
clinicians must serially monitor the level and severity of fibrotic tissue, to ensure
timely treatment and to determine the patient s risk of liver related morbidity,
mortality and hepatic comorbidities, for example, portal hypertension or hepatic

U.S. tactical commander was a need in Afghanistan. The decision was to assign the
10th Mountain DivisionCommander, Major General (MG) Franklin Hagenbeck, as
the tactical commander. In an effort to strengthen MG Hagenbeck s command
authority, CENTCOM named his headquarters Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF)
Mountain and gave it command and control authority over Operation Anaconda. By
having command and control authority, MG Hagenbeck would encounter challenges
with the command structure. The challenges of command structure were due to
CJTF Mountain not having tactical control (TACON) of multiple Special Operation
Forces, the Joint Special Operations Air Component (JSOAC), and friendly

proves to be true through Paulsen s consistency of descriptions throughout the
entire story, unlike The Sniper. The Dogs Could Teach Me begins with, There was
a point where an old logging trail went through a small, sharp sided gully a tiny
canyon . . . It might have been a game trail that was slightly widened or an old foot
trail that had not caved in. Likewise, Liam O Flaherty starts out The Sniper by
writing, Dublin lay enveloped in darkness but for the dim light of the moon that
shone through fleecy clouds, casting a pale light as of approaching dawn over the
streets . . . However, by the third paragraph of The Sniper O Flaherty scrivens, He
was eating a sandwich hungrily. He had eaten nothing since morning. He had been

main goal out of the two examples above was very evidently to describe these
situations, howbeit, O Flaherty s was not. Since the author of The Sniper decides to
turn to action based writing instead of creating vivid pictures in the third paragraph,
it causes The Dogs Could Teach Me to become a better example of descriptionthan

Cultural Differences Between Modern Day North And South
Changes occur in every region of the globe; every minute, every second. Most
individuals generally do not approve of changes. It entices fear, mistrust, isolation,
and even pain. In my youth, I liked change. Changes were something to look
forward to, it was fun to meet new individuals and an enjoyable way to see new
places. It was useful to learn new skills and live experiences. So at the age of
fifteen, my mother told me we were headed for America. No attention was given to
these words, because I was a teenager who thought that the state of Texaswould be
quite similar to Toronto, but never could I fathom that this would completely change
my perception of the world. These Challenges have led me to understand the different
cultures between the north and south, not to believe in stereotypes, and made me
adaptable.
I can t even begin to explain the massive cultural differences between modern day
north and south. Most people assume only climate and slang are the major difference
in the two, however they could not be more wrong. Especially between Toronto and
Wichita Falls, Texas. It may sound obvious but there are geographical differences.
For one, in the north we have more clear and fast rivers, and we almost always
have a bay. While in the south, the soil is agriculturally more fertile, so in essence
