I attended the Maricopa County Superior Court located at 222 E Javelina Ave,
Mesa, AZ 85210. I went on Wednesday December 6, 2017 from 1pm to 5pm. I
attended both the criminal court in room 202 and family court in room 301. In the
criminal court, I observed 9 different cases and in the family court only 1 case. In
the criminal courtroom, the Judge was Judge Barth and the state prosecutor was
James Blair for all the cases. The public defenders (PD) were different for most all
the cases except some cases had the same PD in which none of them had more that
2 offenders assigned to them at that day. The PD included, Resario Spaccaferro,
Josephine Hallum, Kurt Harris, Asario Backafera, Robert Duffy, and Brian Gardner.
In the family court only the petitioner (the mom) had an attorney Charles Brown,
and the respondent (the dad) represented himself. All attorneys and PD were
dressed in suits and the judges of course were in their black robes. The state
prosecutor was also in a suit but had khaki pants and a dark navy blazer.

Walking up I noticed there was a giant white tubing in the middle of the parking lot
that was draped over the wall and the court had orange cones blocking the handicap
ramp. Coming out this obstacle was no longer there. However, there is only one
ramp and could have been a huge issue for someone who needed ADA access to the

I chose to analyze The Dark Knight (2008) directed by Christopher Nolan. My scene
begins at 00:01:13 and ends at 00:05:54. I chose to analyze this scene because it
contains interesting points that I have recognized, as the villain shows different
characteristics, using aspects such as camera angles. In this analysis, I will be looking
at the setting, lighting, sound and the use of the camera and how each of these views
influences the audience.
The setting within this sequence takes place downtown Gotham city in a building,
from ziplining, on the street, to the van, outside of the building, and last inside of the
bank. The scene starts, the camera zooms up onto a building. The window is then
broken and the camera switches showing a masked man shooting a zip line across
from the building to another building. The clowned mask is being used to hide their
faces which is iconic and is an example you would expect to see in a heist film. The
sound in the back ground is a fast hard tempo beat which gives the audience the
impression that this is a heist film. The next shot shows a man standing at the corner
of the street holding a clown mask in his hand and a bag. The camera slowly zooms
up to the mask leading the audience to believe that they may see the identity of the
person holding it. This man is unlike the others characters he is not wearing his mask

Speech On Life Without Water
I choose the water cycle because water is a basic necessity of life and every human
in the world will have an impact on it one way or the other. From the moments we
wake up through the activities of the day right to when we go to sleep, water plays
a major role in all that we do. Imagining a life without water is kind of
unimaginable. Water has been around long before I was born so it s difficult to
imagine what life will be like without it. Since water is more of a public good, we
tend to take it for granted just like the air we breathe.
I use water for almost everything; I use water for brushing my teeth, taking my bath,
washing the plates, laundry, flushing the toilet, bathing my dog (Optimus), cooking

Abstract Grid Computing resolves high performance computing and throughput issues
through sharing of resources. These resources are heterogeneous in nature and
geographically distributed to develop large scale applications. Scheduling and Load
balancing is one of the key ideas in grid environment. For efficient scheduling, proper
management of resources is required. This paper mainly presents Guided Ant Colony
Optimization (ACO) based Variable Neighborhood Search (GAVNS) algorithm which
represents how to schedule an independent jobs on grid nodes in order to optimize
the schedule and load on nodes/servers. The performance of proposed algorithm is
compared with existing Variable Neighborhood Search (VNS) algorithm. Simulation
results have shown that GAVNS performs better than VNS. Moreover, better
makespan is achieved through this technique.

Although he is best known for his vocal style, Cole was also an extremely talented

barriers of racism in the 1960s, leaving a legacy for artists behind him. Cole was

to be. As human beings, we desire to become better and achiever greater amounts.
In simple words, we want to become an expert of some sort. According to the
Oxford Dictionary, an expert is a person who is very knowledgeable about or
skillful in a particular area. But with this simple description of an expert , what does
it truly mean? Malcolm Gladwell, a famous writer and speaker, with 10, 000 hours
one could succeed to become an expert in a certain area. Gladwell explains his
theory of 10, 000 hours in his book, The Outliers, with various examples of not only
talented but also respected figures such as an European Violinist, Bill Gates, and
even the Beatles. In the book, these figures explain similar yet different situation
where after a certain amount of practice or effort, approximately 10, 000 hours, they
began to excel in their area of interest. Furthermore, Gladwell explains that there are
none naturally talented or gifted people who reach the level of expertise without a
significant input of hours. In order to improveor master in an area, all individuals
must contribute the minimum of 10, 000 hours. It is true, through practice and effort
one could reach a level of expertise. However, there are different circumstances that
oppose this theory, such as the continuously growing information, one s passion, and

In the recent years, There has a significant work and studies in the field of
parenting and raising children. Many social workers and researchers had been
putting a lot of efforts and conducting plenty of studies to find the best methods for
parents to raise happy successful kids. Today s fast paced life and the long work
hours had left parents with very little time for their children. However, studies have
shown the many negative effects on the kids personality and how important it is for
