Causes of wallpaper defects
Stained/marked surface
Causes:
• Paste on paper face due to careless pasting techniques
• Contaminated tools and equipment
• Dirt contamination due to unclean work surfaces during soaking
Discuss a remedy or prevention method:
• Take appropriate care during paste application
• Ensure tools and equipment are free from contamination
• Ensure all surfaces in contact with paper are clean

• Uneven application of adhesive (misses)
