Stereotypes Are Victims Of Discrimination In Soccer
We have seen a lot of situations in which players are victims of discrimination because they do not
share the same color, country or background. This situation is almost every kind of sports that exists in
the world. As a really sport in particular soccer fan, I feel like that it is damaged the beauty of the
sport. A sport is a thing that has the power to unite a nation, a state, and a group of people who belongs
to the same peer. However, some people like to destroy the natural beauty of this emotion.
Furthermore, I decide to talk about racism in soccer for two reasons. First, I love watching and playing
soccer. Second, once soccer involves people from different country and background, it is not out of
having discriminatory situation. I grew up in a country in which soccer is experienced with
stupendous emotion and passion reason why I have this passion for soccer. I have been playing and
watching soccer almost my entire life; however, I get really sad when I see a situation where a player,
white or black, is treated discriminatorily.

From this situation, two questions come to my mind; first why does it happen? and second How do
organizations and media approach to it? Racism is an issue that organization and general people have
been fighting against because it does not only hurt a person s sensible but also ruins the all efforts that
institutions have done to include everyone. Racism is everywhere, we see, we hear, we experience in
our daily lives. However, what matter here is racism in sport, soccer, so forgetting every things and

Alexander The Great, Son Of Philip II Of Macedon
Alexander the Great, son of Philip II of Macedon is one of history s most controversial figures in
relation to his character and methodology. His legacy is a subject still discussed and assessed by many
scholars, as it is one that has left its mark on the Ancient World and its stigma, positive or negative, is
still felt today around the world. However, there is no controversy that Alexander was an individual
with a plethora of abilities and traits that understood and assessed situations, and his risky, yet mostly
calculated actions helped him establish his title of being considered Great . His legacy and greatness
undoubtedly extend from his mighty military campaigns and his his glorification during and after his
death, as well as his potential administration ideals, and his being the catalyst for the foundation of the
Hellenistic era. In his short, yet astonishing career, Alexander managed to defeat the Persian empire, a
superpower forty two times the size of the united Greece he led. There is no controversy about
Alexander s military genius and Burn says no soldier in history is more indisputably great than
Alexander. He started, of course, with the advantage of Philip s army and he did have a number of
reverses, such as the march through the Gedrosian Desert. His genius, however, is apparent in every
aspect of warfare and in every military undertaking between those of the Granicus and Hydaspes
River. He was able to modify and adapt his tactics to suit each

Analysis Of To This Day By Shane Koyczan
Shane Koyczan is known in the world as an award winning spoken word poet. He was born in
Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Soon after birth he went to live with his grandparents in Penticton,
British Columbia. Shane s childhood was extremely hard and painful. He had to deal with malicious
bullying, so severe that it led to him suffering depression. He believed that he could never find
happiness or love. He carried the effects of the mental, emotional, and physical abuse he endured
throughout his childhood into his adult life. Information about Shane Koyczan s life was provided by
the site called, The Poetry Foundation . When Shane graduated at Okanagan College, he started to
explore poetry and speaking. He wanted to send a message to the world about the harm social injustice
can cause. He also wanted to inspire and help people who are going through difficult times by sharing
his experiences. As Shane started to write poems, his theme would be on social injustice, love,
happiness, and ideas. He would use the painful childhood memories and incorporate poetic elements
such as metaphor and rhyme. He uses these elements in one of his poems called, To This Day . A
spoken word poem that tells the story of shane s childhood. Three lines read, To this day he is a stick
of TNT lit from both ends, Could describe in detail how the sky bends, in the moments before it s
about to fall and despite an army of friends .

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Narendra Modi Reforms
Roadblocks in implementing various schemes and reforms by Narendra Modi
Every five years, a particular trend could be observed. National elections are held and different
political parties ended up getting different number of seats. Since the 1984 elections, no party has
established a simple majority of its own. So in the end, always a Coalition government came into
power. This time it was different. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by its prime ministerial
candidate Narendra Modi, won a landslide victory in the Lok Sabha elections, with 282 seats on its
own. The alliance it lead National Democratic Alliance (NDA) had 336 seats in the lower house of the
Parliament. This thing could be attributed to the military style campaign by Modi and ... Show more

Since the winning of the elections, Narendra Modi has visited numerous countries to establish bilateral
ties. Some had the intended outcome while others had not. The visit to Japan had failed to meet one of
the main objectives to sign an agreement on civil nuclear cooperation. Thus, building of nuclear plants
in India remain stalled. Also in Nepal, he failed to sign agreements on the development and sale of
hydro generated power the Power Trade Agreement and the Power Development Agreement despite
India helping out Nepal in innumerable ways. Modi is still viewed as a polarising figure when it
comes to international stage, an attribution that he should prove wrong. In the reforms introduced for
labour, little work is done on tougher issues such as amendments to the Minimum Wages Act and the
Contract Labour Act. Companies were also expecting changes in the Contracts Labour Act for more

Boston Bus Training
We all had to be at the school by three in the morning. Everyone had to get their luggage and
marching uniform checked before going to the bus. After a photo shoot, we all scrambled on to the
bus. After the bus driver told us the rules, the bus started up and began leaving the school.
Just about everyone slept the rest of the night until morning. Once we woke up, the bus stopped. Bus
drivers are required to stop the bus every four hours. We got off the bus and got ourselves some
breakfast. Most of us went to McDonalds and the rest got whatever seemed good to them. We got back
on the bus and drove another four hours. Even though the bus ride was long, we enjoyed ourselves the
best we could. Our bus probably watched every movie we brought along ... Show more content on

They re a lot of people and traffic in Boston, and our bus took up half the road. Our tour guide jumped
on the bus and told what we re going to be seeing and asked us questions. Finally, everyone ran off the
bus and stretched out after making a stop. The tour guide took us to a church where Benjamin Franklin
got baptized. Then we walked to the Harvard college where Benjamin Franklin and John F. Kennedy
studied. We walk around a grave and saw some historical people that got buried there.
After all that, I was hungry. Our tour guide took us to a place where there was a bunch of different
options to eat at. I got a piece of pizza and sat outside with the others. As I was enjoying my lunch, I
told myself that I m glad we went to Boston first before New York. It seems like there was sirens
going off all the time, whether that d be the police, ambulance, or fire truck.
The Next day, we went to the New England Sea Aquarium. Once we got inside their s a big glass tank

The Recent Onset Of Regional Lymphadenopathy
Discussion
When evaluating the recent onset of regional lymphadenopathy in a teenager, there are various
etiologies that should be explored. Lymphadenopathy is often a benign entity that is self limiting but
can also be the presenting sign of a more serious illness. Our patient had several signs and symptoms
that were concerning for both a malignant etiology as well as an infectious cause for his acute, painful
lymphadenopathy. Due to the commonality and potentially serious causes of lymphadenopathy, it is
important for physicians to be able properly differentiate the more commonly benign causes from the
potentially serious illnesses.
When evaluating any patient with lymphadenitis a detailed history is paramount to finding the cause
of the lymphadenitis, which can help guide treatment. Our patient has several elements in his history
that point us to an infectious cause of his lymphadenopathy: exposure to pets, potential sexual activity,
and skin flora exposure to an open wound. Our patient plays roughly with his kitten who scratches
him on his legs. Bartonella henselae is a gram negative bacterium that can cause cat scratch disease,
which is characterized by tender regional unilateral lymphadenopathy. In this disease, inguinal
lymphadenopathy is present 18% of the time, which warrants its consideration in our differential
diagnoisis1. Given his age, sexually transmitted infection or infectious mononucleosis should always
be contemplated as a cause of his

Weekly Paper #6
As an account of absorption, Kaspar is ruled by the deficient thought in Herzog s film, clear through
its categorizing of him into various assortments of the same social part. In any case, he is depicted by
alternate characters in the film as the
foundling. As a foundling he is on the edge of society, yet on the edge ready for socialization: he has
been found and is prepared for the procedure of absorption. However, when this incorporation
demonstrates troublesome, Kaspar turns into a turn off from society, a maverick, an oddity, or what
Deleuze and Guattari would call a negative line of flight. Asked by the town older folks how he will

Furthermore, a picture has a similar metaphysics; before it is any sort of sign, it is matter in
development (a development picture), and Kaspar and the picture are both augmented substance.
Along these lines both Kaspar and a picture have a substance and an expression, a substance, or more
profound level whereby insufficiency is just a single inconstancy of their assurance. A picture is a
quality or reality before it is an indication of anything specific, and Kaspar is a method of expansion
and thought before any of the social molds he experiences. We see now that the way of individual is to
be comprehended not as the creature with dialect, however as the getting to be dialect being, and that
the jump of dialect is a transforming into the educable being, which I need to style as an instructional
method of taking off. Being with Dialect proposes that the way of leaving is just imagined, separated,
lastly discredited through the present being with dialect. The past recipe appears to neglect to clarify
Hauser s case. There was no show of the exit from the give in. We see from Hauser s case that being
with dialect does not promise us flexibility. Or maybe, Hauser step by step accumulated more doubt
upon himself: the more he talked, the more he picked up doubt. This activity and others cause
disappointment in Kaspar s volunteering instructors. He is unequipped for accommodating in ordinary
terms. He is later acquainted with the town s nobles at a bourgeoisie party the plan is so odd for
Kaspar that it smothers his capacity to be agreeable. This scene, as with the very way of the film, is

Predator Avoidance And A Small Bodied Primates
Introduction
The genus Tarsius of which we have fossils from the Middle Eocene in China, the Early Miocene in
northwestern Thailand, and the Middle Miocene in northern Thailand, allow us to compare ancient
characters with many modern extant tarsiers. Tarsiers are subject to high levels of predation as they
inhabit a specific biotope and are subject to avian predators as well as ground dwelling species
(Řeháková Petru, Peške, and Daněk 2012).
Predation avoidance is important to a small bodied primate, for example a tarsier or galago (Gursky
2003). The hypothesis of predator avoidance when applied to the many unique characters seen in
nocturnal, small bodied primates suggests that adaptations were a necessity to avoid predation
(Gursky and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The main predators of spectral tarsiers include monitor lizards (Varanus indicus), snakes (Python
reticulatus), Malaysian civets (Viverra tangalunga), and various birds of prey, including falcons (Falco
sp.) (Gursky, 1997).
Sight Adaptations
The tarsier possess eyes that are very large in relative proportion with their body size and happen to be
larger than their brains. The average extant tarsier eye weighs 3 grams and measures 1.6 centimetres in
diameter. In contrast their brain is only 3.3 grams (Groves 1998). The pitfall to these large eyes is that
the tarsier cannot move its eye in the orbital socket. The unique shape of a tarsier s spine allows it to
rotate its head nearly 360 degrees and counteract the problem of non moving eye (Ross 1996).
Primarily in most nocturnal species the eye, while relatively large, also possesses a tapetum lucidum, a
thin layer of reflective tissue at the back of the retina. While tarsiers lack a tapetum lucidum like one
would see in felids, it also lacks the eye shine that comes with a tapetum lucidum, thus providing an
advantage to remaining unseen in nocturnal conditions (Ross 1996). The tarsier s lack of a tapetum is
of course amply compensated by eye size and a likely consequence of secondary adoption of
nocturnality by its branch of the common haplorrhine lineage (Crompton, 1989).

Flunking High School Students
Flunking high school students can be helpful in getting them motivated and lead to success in their
education. The majority of students who have lack of focus and many distractions deserve to fail if
they don t change their attitude. It is not going to be easy for students to be successful in their
education. Somes students need to try hard to get to their goals. High School students have to pass
through failure to have the motivation to do better in school. If more students go through the teacher s
threats of failing, the student s will want to put in the effort to able to pass their classes. The only way
students can turn their worthless time of education is to getting the help of the parents and teachers to
able to succeed on being better students in school. More high school teachers should start using the
threat of failing students so that the educational industry get lower rates of dropouts and higher rates
of graduating.
First, Failing High School students is a good way to have them get that fear, but not only that it can
help them value their education and work harder for a passing grade. For instance, Thomas R. Hoerr
states, We create opportunities for success for those students and help them see what they can achieve
(41). Students who fool around where they don t pay attention but want to pass by not doing no work
effort, they will change their attitude by getting the failing grade with a strict teacher that will actually
give F s. When a student flunks a grade it won t help them succeed, but they will give up in school or
feel bad about themselves. Taking a class is not ideal, because it would cost them time, so they will
have to take summer school in order to graduate or move to the next level. However, failing can teach
high school students to value their education, especially as failing can prevent them from graduating
and pursuing their goals, so they learn the value of education and work ethic. School should be their
number one priority because if they want to graduate high school they need to focus in order to
receive a diploma. Having fear because of failing a class to able to graduate or pass to next grade
should leave all the lack of effort behind and start working hard to advance to next

Underage Drinking At Its Worst
Underage Drinking at its worst! One lesson I thought I would never have to learn as a teenager was
underage drinking, toothbrushes, and bunk beds do not mix! I was 16 years old in high school and I
had braces. I was going through my rebellious stage, I didn t think about things before I did them and
what kind of consciences my actions had. I played football and I had lots of friends. I had friends who
were jocks, theater geeks, nerds, and some friends who were the trouble makers of the school. I went
to parties a lot, I would drink and have a good old time that was until I had my accident. My friend
Stevie s parents were going out of town and we all knew what that meant, he was going to have a
party. We all had our jobs to do to prepare for it. Stevie had the house so he was all set, another friend
of mine was in charge of inviting everyone, and my job was to get the alcohol. I had an older brother
who would always buy my friends and I booze, so I went all out. I got beer in bottles and in a keg, I
got hard alcohol like whiskey, vodka, rum and all the mixers that you need for a good underage
drinking party. The party was going great everyone was having a blast! Everyone showed up it was
turning out to be the best party of the year. People showed up that we didn t even invite, so they got
charged at the door to cover the cost of the party. As the night went on and it was getting late people
were starting to leave, we started to wind down and clean up a little (as well as

Roswell Conspiracy
What really happened in Roswell?
For more than 60 years, the debate between reality and conspiracy has raged on with the concept of
aliens in the center(History.com Staff). In Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 what is believed by
conspiracy theorists to be a flying saucer was found in a rancher s sheep pasture. The idea that
exterrestrial life could possibly exist may seem out of this world to some. But, to an entire town of
people, the idea is not as far fetched.
So, what are aliens? Aliens are exterrestrial beings that allegedly live in outer space and did not
originate from Earth. Outer space is incomprehensibly massive. The galaxy in which human beings
live is referred to as the Milky Way, and there are an estimated 100 billion planets in that one galaxy
alone(SPACE.com Staff). Seth Shostak, an American astronomer and a Senior Astronomer for the

C Language
The C programming language (often, just C ) is a general purpose, procedural, imperative computer
programming language developed in the early 1970s by Dennis Ritchie for use on the Unix operating
system. It has since spread to many other operating systems, and is now one of the most widely used
programming languages. C also has had a great influence on many other popular languages,[1]
especially [[C++]] which was originally designed as an enhancement to C. It is the most commonly
used programming language for writing system software,[2][3] though it is also widely used for
writing applications. Though not originally designed as a language for teaching, and despite its
somewhat unforgiving character, C is commonly used in computer science ... Show more content on

The relatively low level nature of the language affords the programmer close control over what the
program is doing, while allowing solutions that can be specially tailored and aggressively optimized
for a particular platform. This allows the code to run efficiently on very limited hardware, such as
mass produced consumer embedded systems, which today are as capable as the general purpose
machines originally used to implement C.

A Clean, Well Lighted Place By Ernest Hemingway
Ernest Hemingway developed his own style of writing and follows it in A Clean, Well Lighted Place .
Hemingway s elegance in writing is such that he indirectly gives all of the information to the reader
without making any judgment; thus allowing one to create an opinion about every minute detail of the
story. Hemingway illustrates his foundations of writing in A Clean, Well Lighted Place by providing
small clues that provide an indirect view of the larger meaning.
Hemingway illustrates one of his elements of writing, omission, by providing two waiters and their
exchange of speech and actions with each other and their customer, the old man. By doing so, he
provides all of the information for readers to create an assumption about the individual s traits; the
saintly and even wicked. In the story we are given a scene with the old drunken man and the younger
waiter. The old man asks for another brandy while pointing to his empty glass. The younger of the two
waiters brashly began his dialogue with Finished, he said, speaking with that omission of syntax
stupid people employ when talking to drunken people or foreigners. No more tonight. Close now.
Another, said the old man. No. Finished. The waiter wiped the edge of the table with a towel and
shook his head. The old man stands to leave, counts his tab, pays for his brandy, even leaves a tip for
the waiters, and then begins to walk away with dignity even for his drunken stupor. (153 154) In this
passage the reader is

The purpose of conduct this paper is to address the qualitative research method are always deal with
subjectivity compare to quantitative. First, what is research? Research was exploring the distinctions
between qualitative and quantitative forms of research that we need to consider the different between
ontological and epistemological questions we considered when discussing positivism, interpretive and
critical paradigms. Qualitative as known as critical studies have generated insightful theories,
concepts, and findings that can be explored further and advanced using quantitative approaches.
Furthermore, qualitative research is used by anthropologies and sociologist as a method of inquiry in
the early decades by 20 century. Besides that, qualitative research methods used are more subjective

none of us were winning, Which is kind of funny because all of us were smack talking each other

Global Effort against Malaria
Facilitated largely by increased political commitment, an up scaling of World Health Organisation
(WHO) vector control measures and expansion of the so called artemisinin based combination
therapies , the past decade has seen remarkable progress in the global effort against malaria. In fact,
latest figures approximate that global investments in malaria control have amassed to a 42% reduction
in the diseases mortality rate between 2000 and 2012, saving an estimated 3.3 million lives during this
period.1 Additionally, malaria incidence rates declined by 25% worldwide, in the same epoch, and by
31% in the African region the epicentre of disease s devastation on humanity.1
Despite the recent advancements, however, there remains no opportunity for complacency. Malaria
continues to represent a perilous public health challenge and one of the most prevalent and lethal
infectious agents across Africa, Asia and the Americas. Data released in December 2013 indicates that
there were in the range of 207 million cases of malaria in 2012, and an estimated 627,000 related
deaths most particularly in children under five and expectant mothers.2 In Africa today, it can be
predicted that a child will die every forty five seconds as a result of malaria.3 To quote WHO Director

In order to rebuild their reputation, the organization focused on sharing memoirs of how much good

their organization. The organization also understands the importance of their employee s perception of
the company. Disseminating positive information about the company internally influences employees
to share that same message externally. Part of establishing a digital strategy meant revisiting and

Business Plan For A Restaurant And Bar Chain Business
Here i would like to open a restaurant and bar chain business so here is the following business
plan
1 Executive Summary
The Executive Summary is the most important part of your business plan. Because if it doesn t
interest readers, they ll never even get to the rest of your plan.
Start your Executive Summary with a brief and concise explanation of what your company does.
Next, explain why your company is uniquely qualified to succeed. For example, does your
management team have unique competencies? Do you have any patents? Are you the first
mover in your market? Does a huge, unmet market opportunity exist? Etc.
2 Company Overview
The Company Overview section provides a brief history of your company.
Here you will answer questions such as when and how your organization was formed, what type
of legal entity you are, and accomplishments to date.
Importantly, your past accomplishments are perhaps the best indicator of potential future
success, so be sure to identify and include all key milestones your company has achieved to
date.
3 Market Overview

example, if you are a restaurant, you would include the size of the restaurant market, a brief
discussion of sectors (e.g., fast food versus fine dining) and market trends.

America Faces A Wealth Gap
Veronica Gonzalez
James Okrasinski
English 1102
3 March 2015 America faces a wealth gap. Those born in the lower class struggle moving up.
Although the United States has long thought of itself as a nation where anyone who gets schooling and
works hard can move ahead on the basis of their achievement, the facts tell otherwise. Children born
into high income families have about twice as much chance of becoming middle class or better in their
adult years as those born into the lower classes. A way in which the lower income kids can beat the
chances is by getting a college degree. Those who earn a degree have a better chance of becoming
middle class or better than those who don t, although still not as good of a chance as the ... Show more

In addition, experts on the field argue that the effects of college are powerful enough to boost the
income of adult children from relatively poor families not only well past the income achieved by their
parents but also past the income achieved by many of their peers with more advantaged family
backgrounds who did not obtain equivalent education (Isaacs, Sawhill, Haskins 34). To put it in
another way, obtaining a degree is the best way, perhaps the only way, to possess economic stability.
Now, if we look at it from the country s perspective, education can be part of the solution to the wealth
gap, because the occurrence of poverty in the United States is directly related to educational level. A
college degree is the ticket to the middle class and beyond. Today, obviously, the idea that everyone
should attend to college is indisputable. But there is definitely nothing magical about its price. As
higher education institutions keep on rising its tuitions and fees.
The overwhelming cost for higher educational institutions is causing a huge concern over whether
higher education will be an attainable financial concept to the ordinary student in the upcoming years.
Many Americans now tend to believe that the path to obtaining a degree has turned into distraught
with financial traps. Recent studies done by the U.S. Department of Education show that college
tuition and fees have ballooned 1,120% since 1978. A year of college tuition for

(b)
a. The overall topic is to examine how two treatments (EMDR and COMET) help decrease low self
esteem in anxiety disorders. The rationale for this study is that based on previous research is that there
is not much information on the relationship between and treating low self esteem in people who have
anxiety.
b. Hypothesis:
i. EMDR would decrease negative self esteem and that COMET would increase positive self esteem,
and the overall effect on self esteem would be almost equivalent. ii. Treatment order will affect
outcome, COMET EMDR would not have a better outcome than EMDR COMET.
c. Method:
i. The design of the study was a randomized controlled trial with a crossover design. ii. The
researchers included 47 patients
1. Group 1 had six sessions of EMDR than COMET.

The factors that affect the motion of a falling object
Scientific Knowledge
When an object falls, many forces are acted upon it: gravity, friction, air resistance and, if in the water,
up thrust. When an object starts to fall, gravity over powers air resistance, however, as an object starts
to reach terminal velocity (its maximum speed) the opposite forces start to even out until they are
equal. Some people believe that if the forces are balanced then the object has stopped moving,
meanwhile they could also just be moving at a constant speed (its terminal velocity). All free falling
objects accelerate at the same speed no matter what their mass is (9.8m/s²).
There are two calculations you need for this investigation, no matter which ... Show more content on

This is because the weight increases as the cube of the size of an object, but the air resistance (drag)
only increases as the square of the size, so the bigger the object is, the faster it will fall (or to be more
precise, it has a higher terminal velocity.)
The surface area can affect the motion of the falling object because it is has more air resistance
pushing against it. Because there is more air resistance pushing against a larger object, it will fall so
because it is making the downward force (gravity) weaker since there is now a larger force
counteracting that first force. An object with a larger surface area will fall slower (have a smaller
velocity) because it means there is a large area for air to come into contact with to produce that
counteracting force called air resistance.
Another factor that can affect the motion of a falling object is the viscosity of the liquid that it is
falling through. Viscosity of liquid means how thick the liquid is. The higher the viscosity of the
liquid, the more the liquid resists the object which is falling through it. This means that it will take a
longer amount of time for the object to fall; meaning the velocity of the object will be very small.
A further factor that can affect the motion of a falling object is the height from which the object is
dropped from. Obviously, if an object is dropped from a greater height, it will take longer to reach the
ground than the same object to reach the

Benefits Of Free Babysitting On My Home For Parent ( S )
Introduction I decided that I would like to offer free babysitting in my home for parent(s) that needs a
few hours for a job interview, doctor s appointment or have an emergency. I have been searching
around for an organization to go through, but none exist where I live. There were some you have to go
to their place of work, which I understand but I have no transportation to go that far. So I decided to
do this alone. I started on this assignment on week two of July. I started volunteering to babysit
children from age 5 to 8 years old. I started the portion of my painting assignment this week. One
week is to babysit five kids. They looked like controlled little angels. I started small in this volunteer
assignment. I volunteer to babysit a couple of kids for free. Some couples don t have money for
babysitters or extended family nearby. Some school systems are so attuned to their supervisory, child
care function that they offer after school play groups at a normal fee to take care of children until a
parent gets off work and can take the child home (pg. 435). What was observed during this
experience? I observed a lot from this experience. When I was babysitting the children, they always
wanted to be around me always following me. And one of the five kids drew me three sun s on loose
leaf paper. I was observed while babysitting when the children and I were making cupcakes. Having

The Vietnamese Youth Development Center
Never have I been so wrong in judging the Vietnamese American community. In my mind, the model
minority myth has always been in place and completely stable. I never knew that a majority of
Vietnamese American youth experienced gang related violence, extreme poverty, numerous
stereotypes, and even depression. I never knew how common all of these problems were within their
community. In addition, their problems existed even within their own families through generational
conflicts and cultural differences. These problems are real, and occur within real families, real
communities. These problems are overlooked by almost everyone, and it saddened me that barely
anyone bothered to address these problems. It was then, that I realized that I was part of the problem. I
needed to be aware of what is going on around me, and what I have to do to help. I must analyze and
address the problem. The Vietnamese Youth Development Center is an organization that provides
assistance for refugees and immigrants, typically low income families. These youth are experiencing
problems with their mental health, gang violence and racism, poverty, and problems with their familial
relationships. The Vietnamese Youth Development Center helps to alleviate some of these struggles,
and provides various programs that help with increasing awareness, remediating torn relationships,
and educating. One major problem has to do with gang related violence. The solution to this is quite
complex, and will be

Analysis Of Shinnors Gravitation Towards Kit-Cats
I argue that Shinnors gravitation towards the Kit Cats was prompted by an aesthetic feeling (Huntley
1970, 17) grounded in his early historicality (Heidegger 1950, 47). Heidegger (1950, 29) felt that in
order to grasp the truth, we can return to something that is already manifest, in this case I would argue
that this was Donovan s work, specifically work like Balcony Series (with self portrait) . This truth
happening which Shinnors experienced was therefore an example of Crowther s (2009, 70) theory of
corporeal imagination , the idea that our sense of the present draws upon our actual learned responses
to events of the past. If we think of our corporeal imagination being composed of layers of memory
and experience, with some phenomena being

Death Foretold Symbolism
Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez wrote Chronicle of a Death Foretold as an allegorical
recollection of events regarding a murder that occurred many years before writing the novel. The
novel takes place in a Colombian town during the 1950 s, in which Marquez highlights many issues
regarding Latin American society, including the significance of virginity. In Chronicle of a Death
Foretold, Marquez employs symbolism of flowers, both real and artificial, to convey the cultural
significance of virginity within Latin American society in the 1950 s.
Flowers, in nature, embody beauty and fragility and must be protected from the dangers of the world.

At Angela s house, the wedding decorations consist of bouquets of wax orange blossoms (66). In Latin
American culture, orange blossoms represent virginity as well as chastity in a wedding. However, the
artificial depiction of Angela s orange blossoms symbolizes the fraud of Angela s virginity. Later in
the novel, when Angela decides she does love Bayardo, she had made cloth tulips... and she became a
virgin again just for him (93). Although Angela tries to repossess her lost virginity, she still makes
cloth tulips which represents the artificialness of her futile attempts. Marquez uses Angela to show the
lack of virginity within society and to also express the importance of perceivement in society.
Furthermore, Marquez embedds artificial flowers in many other instances surrounding Angela. One of
these is the first time Bayardo saw Angela. She crossed the square carrying two baskets of artificial
flowers (28). This implies that Angela had lost her virginity before meeting Bayardo which disgraces
women in Latin American society because it represents the loss of honor for both the woman and the
family. When the narrator describes the rearing of the Vicario girls, he states they knew how to... make
artificial flowers (31). As a young child, Angela made artificial flowers which implies that Angela lost
her virginity at a very young age. Angela s friends comfort her about the loss of virginity by telling her
that almost all women lost their virginity in childhood accidents (38). This confirms that Angela did,
in fact, lose her virginity in a childhood accident and that Santiago did not take it from her.
Furthermore, as Angela grows, she [made] cloth flowers and [sang] songs about single women with
her neighbors (32). This statement correlates flowers with single women because single women are

Food Protection Pl Essential For Food Safety
Summary:
A food protection plan is essential in todays fast pace world, where globalization and international
trade and improved means of transport has served to distribute food around the globe, even to remote
regions in the shortest possible time. The significance of this trend is that food prepared by a few can
pose a threat to many people, if it is not prepared under proper sanitary conditions and hygienic
practices. It is imperative that food manufacturers, processors, distributors, and all food related
stakeholders develop a food protection plan to safe guard themselves from lawsuits and to be able to
show that their food products are safe for human consumption. It is the duty of the state to develop
their own food safety plans and work together with all food related stakeholders to ensure compliance.
Key words: food protection plan, food safety, health and safety.
Introduction:
A food protection plan is essential for food safety and should cover all food and food related entities

Once you have your referrals you are able to begin forwarding them your advertisements, license

The Death Of An Ice Cube
The chilling sensation of an ice cube pressed to my ear, my friends excited laughter, a sharp stinging
sensation, and then it was over. I had successfully pierced my cartilage despite my parent s

I looked at my newly pierced ear the first emotion that flooded through me was satisfaction. I had
successfully undermined my parents. They had drawn a line in the sand and I had jumped right over it.
Then slowly, a second emotion started to trickle in, guilt. Not regret or remorse. Just guilt. I wasn t
sorry for what I had done but I knew what punishment awaited me. Only weeks before I had asked for
my parent s permission to get the piercing and had received a hard no . So what had provoked me to
go behind my parents back and do it anyways? Was it to spite them? To provoke a response? Had I
done it for myself? Maybe I had something to prove to myself, to show the world that I was daring

highly competitive markets and have devoted substantial resources into building their presence in the
national and international segments. Both of these segments are highly important into branding the

FORECASTED SYNERGIES From 2011 to 2011, WWAV the Cost of Sales (COS) increased 10.8%
driven primarily by higher commodity costs, increase in sales volume growth and a higher cost mix of

In 1974, Charter Med Inc. was founded by doctors and in 1977 United HealthCare Corp. was formed
and bought Charter Med Inc. UnitedHealth Care became a publicly traded company in 1984 and
William McGuire became the leader of the company in 1989. In between that time the company had
acquired a pharmacy ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
McGuire currently is making $100 million in cash and stock paydays and he still sitting in stock
options valued at 1.6 billion (St. Anthony, 2006). In this he has been given options as rewards for his
success in the company by the board of directors and was allowed to select the date for his options.
This meant that McGuire may have backdated his options granting himself shares at the lowest price
in a given year and in May 11, 2006 UnitedHealth Group issued a statement saying they were not
handling stock options correctly (Lewis, 2006). McGuire in February sold 2.3 million shares at $59 a
share when they were optioned to him at $5 a share (Phelps, 2006). This exercised that he owned 6%
of the company but back in November of 2004 he sold shares as well which amounted to 9% of his
share holdings (Business, 2006). Many experts argue that this type of reward is ethically right because
of his performance to the company. But the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawyers
insist that this type of practice may violate security laws, because they allow executives to benefit and
which not available to other shareholders.
Investigation
The SEC is investigating whether McGuire and the board broke any laws. The investigation is looking
into McGuire and if he was able to pick the dates of some of his option grants to coincide with lower
prices. The Internal Revenue Service has also requested documents from 2003 to present regarding
options to top

the corner of Stuart Street and Broadway. After the fire was extinguished the firefighters were about to
return to quarters when their attention was called to smoke emanating from the Cocoanut Grove
Nightclub a few doors away. Upon their arrival at the entrance of the Broadway lounge on Broadway

Kitchen and Heating Plant
The kitchen, located in the basement, approximately 34 feet by 63 feet in size adjoined the Melody
Lounge on the north side (Shawmut Street). It obviously contained the normal kitchen items.
It was an unfinished room with a concrete floor, walls and ceiling.
Exits were by means of a stairway to the main dining room and by the door into the passageway, and
into the adjoining room occupied by the heating plant, which had an exit to Shawmut Street, called the
service door.
The heating plant was contained in a room approx. 16 feet by 40 feet in size, on the Shawmut Street
Side. It adjoined the kitchen and it contents consisted of a furnace, fired by fuel oil from two 275
gallon storage tanks.
Another section of the basement (on the Piedmont Street side) adjoined the kitchen and the Melody
Lounge, and was used as a storage vault.
Dressing Rooms
In the second class structure (no. 4 6 Shawmut Street), adjoining the first class structure (located
between the main dining room and the Broadway Lounge) on the second and third floors, were located
the dressing rooms used by entertainers employed at the Cocoanut Grove Club.
Entrance to these rooms was from a door leading from the main dining room near the orchestra
platform (on the Shawmut Street side), or from the Shawmut Street by a door at the foot of the
stairway to the second and third floors.
The dressing rooms had ordinary plaster walls, wooden floors and

Techniques Used For All Procedures During The Unknowns...
On the first day of the unknowns exercise, tube letter B was chosen and was streaked for isolation
using the quadrant streak technique on two Trypticase Soy Agar (TSA) plates. One of the plates was
incubated aerobically and the other was incubated anaerobically, both at 37° C for twenty four hours.
Aseptic technique was used for all procedures during the unknowns exercise. All incubations during
this experiment were set at 37 °C.
On the second day of the unknowns experiment, the TSA plates were observed and their results were
recorded. The aerobic TSA plate had a medium amount of growth and the colonies were an off white
color, had irregular shape, undulate margins, and umbonate elevation. The anaerobic TSA plate had
less growth, but there was still growth present; the colonies on this plate were transparent, had
irregular shape, undulate margins, and raised elevation. The largest colony from each plate was sub
cultured and prepared to be smeared onto a slide for viewing under the microscope. Once the
organism had dried, the slide was heat fixed and gram stained. The colony obtained from the aerobic
TSA plate showed gram positive bacillus and gram negative bacillus. The colony that was acquired
from the anaerobic TSA plate only had the gram negative bacillus. This showed that the gram positive
organism was an obligate aerobe and that the gram negative organism was a facultative anaerobe.
After the results of the gram stain, the gram negative organism was sub cultured

The And The Dynamic Business Law Ebook
According to the Dynamic Business Law eBook; the four elements to a contract are Agreement,
Consideration, Capacity and legality. The first element of Agreement would be deemed to exist if an
offer is made and accepted creating a mutual agreement between the parties. An offer establishes
criteria set by the offeror , usually referred as terms and conditions to another party, the offeree this is
the first step in creating a contract. The second element of Consideration would be deemed to exist if
something is negotiated by the promisor from the promise in return for signing or agreeing to the
terms of the contract. The third element of Capacity would be deemed to exist if the parties are in
sound mind and body, and over the age of consent. The fourth element of legality would be deemed to
exist if they have a legal object, meaning the parties purpose of entering into a contract should be legal
and follow the state and/or federal laws. (Kubasek, 2015, p. 305) I believe in this case the contract
between Sam and the store manager lacks consideration and the proper form specifying crucial details.
Specifically what Sam will get in return for the 1000 barking devices The Store manager may have
asked for 1000 units, and Sam may have agreed to be able to ship them immediately. However, there
really is no mention of any other terms discussed, such as price per unit or when Sam could expect
payment. In this case, a quasi contract doesn t fit because the lack of terms in the

Why Was Vladimir Lenin And The Bolshevik Revolution Impact...
Vladimir Lenin Vladimir Lenin and the Bolshevik Revolution impacted the Romanov dynasty in
countless ways. Lenin was physically incapable of leading the masses already controlled by a
powerful monarch. Therefore, when the war led to Nicholas II stepping down from his throne, Lenin
was finally given a shot at controlling Russia. Hence, the Russo Japanese war was incredibly
significant to Lenin because it was the beginning of his soon to be domination of Russia. This was a
significant event in Lenin s history because it showed how Russia began to fall and Lenin began
gaining supporters. Bloody Sunday was also a major event for the Romanov Family because this was
when his people turned against him and started rebelling, leading up to his murder. Lenin an
inspirational leader of both Russia and the Bolshevik Party, was in control of countless aspects of
Russia and was prominent political figure.
Russo Japanese War The Russo Japanese War lasted from 1904 until 1905, beginning with the
Japanese initiating a surprise ambush on the Russians. This led to Nicholas II and his people growing
apart (Trueman, 2016, para. 2). Many of his people were living in poverty and were anything but
prepared to fight. Unfortunately, old men and young children were recruited to fight in the front line.
Soon, the people realized how little power they had and the country began to collapse. Surprisingly,
many of the citizens actually started asking for a

Critical Article Review
The author of Be Sure You re Right, Then Go Ahead : The Davy Crockett Gun Craze is by Sarah
Nilsen. The purpose of the article is to give detail of how Davy Crockett became the emblem that was
known for guns and coon skin hats. The author does not specifically identify the purpose of the article.
The purpose is well stated in the detail given about how the legend became a legend and what part
Walt Disney played in it. The war, families, television shows, toy makers, and any other company that
could profit from Davy Crockett and The Wild Frontier played a major role in making Davy such a
legend. A key point from the article are how the NRA s involvement played a role in making gunplay
acceptable. NRA s reliance on the media to support ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That Disney and other avenues led them to believe that they were supposed to not only pretend to
shoot but that they could do it for real and no one would get hurt or that suppose that someone actually
did get shot for real that it was alright for them to die for real. The image of they really never die had
to be in their heads because what did they see on television. I liked the article by Sarah Nilsen about
Davy Crockett and how he became such a legend and how popular not only an icon can become but
the idea that the icon represents as

  • 2. Stereotypes Are Victims Of Discrimination In Soccer We have seen a lot of situations in which players are victims of discrimination because they do not share the same color, country or background. This situation is almost every kind of sports that exists in the world. As a really sport in particular soccer fan, I feel like that it is damaged the beauty of the sport. A sport is a thing that has the power to unite a nation, a state, and a group of people who belongs to the same peer. However, some people like to destroy the natural beauty of this emotion. Furthermore, I decide to talk about racism in soccer for two reasons. First, I love watching and playing soccer. Second, once soccer involves people from different country and background, it is not out of having discriminatory situation. I grew up in a country in which soccer is experienced with stupendous emotion and passion reason why I have this passion for soccer. • 3. Alexander The Great, Son Of Philip II Of Macedon Alexander the Great, son of Philip II of Macedon is one of history s most controversial figures in relation to his character and methodology. His legacy is a subject still discussed and assessed by many scholars, as it is one that has left its mark on the Ancient World and its stigma, positive or negative, is still felt today around the world. However, there is no controversy that Alexander was an individual with a plethora of abilities and traits that understood and assessed situations, and his risky, yet mostly calculated actions helped him establish his title of being considered Great . His legacy and greatness undoubtedly extend from his mighty military campaigns and his his glorification during and after his death, as well as his potential administration ideals, and his being the catalyst for the foundation of the Hellenistic era. In his short, yet astonishing career, Alexander managed to defeat the Persian empire, a superpower forty two times the size of the united Greece he led. There is no controversy about Alexander s military genius and Burn says no soldier in history is more indisputably great than Alexander. He started, of course, with the advantage of Philip s army and he did have a number of reverses, such as the march through the Gedrosian Desert. His genius, however, is apparent in every aspect of warfare and in every military undertaking between those of the Granicus and Hydaspes River. National elections are held and different political parties ended up getting different number of seats. Since the 1984 elections, no party has established a simple majority of its own. So in the end, always a Coalition government came into power. This time it was different. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, won a landslide victory in the Lok Sabha elections, with 282 seats on its own. • 8. The Recent Onset Of Regional Lymphadenopathy Discussion When evaluating the recent onset of regional lymphadenopathy in a teenager, there are various etiologies that should be explored. Lymphadenopathy is often a benign entity that is self limiting but can also be the presenting sign of a more serious illness. Our patient had several signs and symptoms that were concerning for both a malignant etiology as well as an infectious cause for his acute, painful lymphadenopathy. Due to the commonality and potentially serious causes of lymphadenopathy, it is important for physicians to be able properly differentiate the more commonly benign causes from the potentially serious illnesses. When evaluating any patient with lymphadenitis a detailed history is paramount to finding the cause of the lymphadenitis, which can help guide treatment. Our patient has several elements in his history that point us to an infectious cause of his lymphadenopathy: exposure to pets, potential sexual activity, and skin flora exposure to an open wound. Our patient plays roughly with his kitten who scratches him on his legs. Bartonella henselae is a gram negative bacterium that can cause cat scratch disease, which is characterized by tender regional unilateral lymphadenopathy. In this disease, inguinal lymphadenopathy is present 18% of the time, which warrants its consideration in our differential diagnoisis1. • 10. Predator Avoidance And A Small Bodied Primates Introduction The genus Tarsius of which we have fossils from the Middle Eocene in China, the Early Miocene in northwestern Thailand, and the Middle Miocene in northern Thailand, allow us to compare ancient characters with many modern extant tarsiers. Tarsiers are subject to high levels of predation as they inhabit a specific biotope and are subject to avian predators as well as ground dwelling species (Řeháková Petru, Peške, and Daněk 2012). Predation avoidance is important to a small bodied primate, for example a tarsier or galago (Gursky 2003). The hypothesis of predator avoidance when applied to the many unique characters seen in nocturnal, small bodied primates suggests that adaptations were a necessity to avoid predation (Gursky and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The main predators of spectral tarsiers include monitor lizards (Varanus indicus), snakes (Python reticulatus), Malaysian civets (Viverra tangalunga), and various birds of prey, including falcons (Falco sp.) (Gursky, 1997). Sight Adaptations The tarsier possess eyes that are very large in relative proportion with their body size and happen to be larger than their brains. The average extant tarsier eye weighs 3 grams and measures 1.6 centimetres in diameter. In contrast their brain is only 3.3 grams (Groves 1998). The pitfall to these large eyes is that the tarsier cannot move its eye in the orbital socket. The unique shape of a tarsier s spine allows it to rotate its head nearly 360 degrees and counteract the problem of non moving eye (Ross 1996). Primarily in most nocturnal species the eye, while relatively large, also possesses a tapetum lucidum, a thin layer of reflective tissue at the back of the retina. While tarsiers lack a tapetum lucidum like one would see in felids, it also lacks the eye shine that comes with a tapetum lucidum, thus providing an advantage to remaining unseen in nocturnal conditions (Ross 1996). The tarsier s lack of a tapetum is of course amply compensated by eye size and a likely consequence of secondary adoption of nocturnality by its branch of the common haplorrhine lineage (Crompton, 1989). • 12. Flunking High School Students Flunking high school students can be helpful in getting them motivated and lead to success in their education. The majority of students who have lack of focus and many distractions deserve to fail if they don t change their attitude. It is not going to be easy for students to be successful in their education. Somes students need to try hard to get to their goals. High School students have to pass through failure to have the motivation to do better in school. If more students go through the teacher s threats of failing, the student s will want to put in the effort to able to pass their classes. The only way students can turn their worthless time of education is to getting the help of the parents and teachers to able to succeed on being better students in school. More high school teachers should start using the threat of failing students so that the educational industry get lower rates of dropouts and higher rates of graduating. First, Failing High School students is a good way to have them get that fear, but not only that it can help them value their education and work harder for a passing grade. For instance, Thomas R. Hoerr states, We create opportunities for success for those students and help them see what they can achieve (41). Students who fool around where they don t pay attention but want to pass by not doing no work effort, they will change their attitude by getting the failing grade with a strict teacher that will actually give F s. When a student flunks a grade it won t help them succeed, but they will give up in school or feel bad about themselves. Taking a class is not ideal, because it would cost them time, so they will have to take summer school in order to graduate or move to the next level. However, failing can teach high school students to value their education, especially as failing can prevent them from graduating and pursuing their goals, so they learn the value of education and work ethic. School should be their number one priority because if they want to graduate high school they need to focus in order to receive a diploma. Hemingway s elegance in writing is such that he indirectly gives all of the information to the reader without making any judgment; thus allowing one to create an opinion about every minute detail of the story. Hemingway illustrates his foundations of writing in A Clean, Well Lighted Place by providing small clues that provide an indirect view of the larger meaning. Hemingway illustrates one of his elements of writing, omission, by providing two waiters and their exchange of speech and actions with each other and their customer, the old man. By doing so, he provides all of the information for readers to create an assumption about the individual s traits; the saintly and even wicked. In the story we are given a scene with the old drunken man and the younger waiter. The old man asks for another brandy while pointing to his empty glass. The younger of the two waiters brashly began his dialogue with Finished, he said, speaking with that omission of syntax stupid people employ when talking to drunken people or foreigners. No more tonight. Close now. Another, said the old man. No. Finished. The waiter wiped the edge of the table with a towel and shook his head. • 26. America Faces A Wealth Gap Veronica Gonzalez James Okrasinski English 1102 3 March 2015 America faces a wealth gap. Those born in the lower class struggle moving up. Although the United States has long thought of itself as a nation where anyone who gets schooling and works hard can move ahead on the basis of their achievement, the facts tell otherwise. Children born into high income families have about twice as much chance of becoming middle class or better in their adult years as those born into the lower classes. A way in which the lower income kids can beat the chances is by getting a college degree. Those who earn a degree have a better chance of becoming middle class or better than those who don t, although still not as good of a chance as the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In addition, experts on the field argue that the effects of college are powerful enough to boost the income of adult children from relatively poor families not only well past the income achieved by their parents but also past the income achieved by many of their peers with more advantaged family backgrounds who did not obtain equivalent education (Isaacs, Sawhill, Haskins 34). To put it in another way, obtaining a degree is the best way, perhaps the only way, to possess economic stability. Now, if we look at it from the country s perspective, education can be part of the solution to the wealth gap, because the occurrence of poverty in the United States is directly related to educational level. A college degree is the ticket to the middle class and beyond. Today, obviously, the idea that everyone should attend to college is indisputable. But there is definitely nothing magical about its price. As higher education institutions keep on rising its tuitions and fees. The overwhelming cost for higher educational institutions is causing a huge concern over whether higher education will be an attainable financial concept to the ordinary student in the upcoming years. • 29. Essay on Physics coursework The factors that affect the motion of a falling object Scientific Knowledge When an object falls, many forces are acted upon it: gravity, friction, air resistance and, if in the water, up thrust. When an object starts to fall, gravity over powers air resistance, however, as an object starts to reach terminal velocity (its maximum speed) the opposite forces start to even out until they are equal. Some people believe that if the forces are balanced then the object has stopped moving, meanwhile they could also just be moving at a constant speed (its terminal velocity). All free falling objects accelerate at the same speed no matter what their mass is (9.8m/s²). There are two calculations you need for this investigation, no matter which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is because the weight increases as the cube of the size of an object, but the air resistance (drag) only increases as the square of the size, so the bigger the object is, the faster it will fall (or to be more precise, it has a higher terminal velocity.) The surface area can affect the motion of the falling object because it is has more air resistance pushing against it. Because there is more air resistance pushing against a larger object, it will fall so because it is making the downward force (gravity) weaker since there is now a larger force counteracting that first force. An object with a larger surface area will fall slower (have a smaller velocity) because it means there is a large area for air to come into contact with to produce that counteracting force called air resistance. Another factor that can affect the motion of a falling object is the viscosity of the liquid that it is falling through. Viscosity of liquid means how thick the liquid is. The higher the viscosity of the liquid, the more the liquid resists the object which is falling through it. This means that it will take a longer amount of time for the object to fall; meaning the velocity of the object will be very small. A further factor that can affect the motion of a falling object is the height from which the object is dropped from. Obviously, if an object is dropped from a greater height, it will take longer to reach the ground than the same object to reach the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

There were some you have to go to their place of work, which I understand but I have no transportation to go that far. So I decided to do this alone. I started on this assignment on week two of July. I started volunteering to babysit children from age 5 to 8 years old. I started the portion of my painting assignment this week. One week is to babysit five kids. They looked like controlled little angels. I started small in this volunteer assignment. I volunteer to babysit a couple of kids for free. What was observed during this experience? I observed a lot from this experience. When I was babysitting the children, they always wanted to be around me always following me. Analysis Of Shinnors Gravitation Towards Kit-Cats I argue that Shinnors gravitation towards the Kit Cats was prompted by an aesthetic feeling (Huntley 1970, 17) grounded in his early historicality (Heidegger 1950, 47). Heidegger (1950, 29) felt that in order to grasp the truth, we can return to something that is already manifest, in this case I would argue that this was Donovan s work, specifically work like Balcony Series (with self portrait) . The novel takes place in a Colombian town during the 1950 s, in which Marquez highlights many issues regarding Latin American society, including the significance of virginity. In Chronicle of a Death Foretold, Marquez employs symbolism of flowers, both real and artificial, to convey the cultural significance of virginity within Latin American society in the 1950 s. • 48. Techniques Used For All Procedures During The Unknowns... On the first day of the unknowns exercise, tube letter B was chosen and was streaked for isolation using the quadrant streak technique on two Trypticase Soy Agar (TSA) plates. One of the plates was incubated aerobically and the other was incubated anaerobically, both at 37° C for twenty four hours. Aseptic technique was used for all procedures during the unknowns exercise. All incubations during this experiment were set at 37 °C. On the second day of the unknowns experiment, the TSA plates were observed and their results were recorded. The aerobic TSA plate had a medium amount of growth and the colonies were an off white color, had irregular shape, undulate margins, and umbonate elevation. The anaerobic TSA plate had less growth, but there was still growth present; the colonies on this plate were transparent, had irregular shape, undulate margins, and raised elevation. The largest colony from each plate was sub cultured and prepared to be smeared onto a slide for viewing under the microscope. Once the organism had dried, the slide was heat fixed and gram stained. The colony obtained from the aerobic TSA plate showed gram positive bacillus and gram negative bacillus. The colony that was acquired from the anaerobic TSA plate only had the gram negative bacillus. This showed that the gram positive organism was an obligate aerobe and that the gram negative organism was a facultative anaerobe. After the results of the gram stain, the gram negative organism was sub cultured ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The second element of Consideration would be deemed to exist if something is negotiated by the promisor from the promise in return for signing or agreeing to the terms of the contract. The fourth element of legality would be deemed to exist if they have a legal object, meaning the parties purpose of entering into a contract should be legal and follow the state and/or federal laws. (Kubasek, 2015, p. 305) I believe in this case the contract between Sam and the store manager lacks consideration and the proper form specifying crucial details. Specifically what Sam will get in return for the 1000 barking devices The Store manager may have asked for 1000 units, and Sam may have agreed to be able to ship them immediately. However, there really is no mention of any other terms discussed, such as price per unit or when Sam could expect payment. In this case, a quasi contract doesn t fit because the lack of terms in the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Lenin was physically incapable of leading the masses already controlled by a powerful monarch. Therefore, when the war led to Nicholas II stepping down from his throne, Lenin was finally given a shot at controlling Russia. Hence, the Russo Japanese war was incredibly significant to Lenin because it was the beginning of his soon to be domination of Russia. This was a significant event in Lenin s history because it showed how Russia began to fall and Lenin began gaining supporters. Bloody Sunday was also a major event for the Romanov Family because this was when his people turned against him and started rebelling, leading up to his murder. Lenin an inspirational leader of both Russia and the Bolshevik Party, was in control of countless aspects of Russia and was prominent political figure. Russo Japanese War The Russo Japanese War lasted from 1904 until 1905, beginning with the Japanese initiating a surprise ambush on the Russians. This led to Nicholas II and his people growing apart (Trueman, 2016, para. 2). Many of his people were living in poverty and were anything but prepared to fight. Unfortunately, old men and young children were recruited to fight in the front line. Soon, the people realized how little power they had and the country began to collapse. Surprisingly, many of the citizens actually started asking for a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
