There was one peculiar individual, a young Hispanic male, who I observed riding a bicycle in circles

The second part of reforming the Republican Party involves enacting stricter gun regulations to
decrease the amount of gun violence in the United States. The official policy from the Republican
platform believes that all law abiding citizens should have the right to own guns (2016 Republican
Party Platform). However, recent mass shootings in California and Texas has called into question on
whether the regulations that are in place are enough, or if there should be tougher background checks

department, and I say that because many times Walmart and target brands are not that much cheaper

Throughout the story the soldier describes how his enemy looks like. At the beginning of the story it
starts by describing how the soldier, Tim was just standing in front of the men he had just killed while
the American troop of soldiers were moving from destination preparing for another day at war. He just
keeps repeating all over again the same details about the man that he had just killed, his eye was a star
shaped hole (Davis, Harrison, Johnson, Smith, and Crawford). Azar, an American soldier
congratulates Tim on killing the enemy. Azar was the kind of soldier that didn t care about their

went through during her freshman year at Syracuse University in New York. Alice was beaten and

with a knife and told her that he would kill her if she screamed. The black male took Alice into a
tunnel where he beat her up and forced her to perform oral sex on him. Alice was still a virgin prior to

We are told to follow the things that set our souls on fire. pressured to find something that brings us
more joy than anything else. We are barred at a young age with the responsibility of finding our
calling before we even know what it is. As a 15 year old girl, I didn t know where to find this fire or
even where to find my calling in the world. I was convinced one didn t exist, I was convinced that it
was me against the world. It was me against the 7 billion screaming people trying to find their footing,
and I felt like I didn t have a voice loud enough or feet big enough to ever do this. I felt like the world
was suffocating me and there was never going to be a chance for another breath of air. All I could
understand from the world, was we live, we suffer, we grow old and we die.
Through the lens of conformity, one blinded by worldly desires, it is incredible how much we cannot
