How Did Gender Bias Impact The Scientific Perception Of...
Marie Curie is famously known to be one of the first women known to make very large contributions
to science, and known as a distinguishable woman for receiving two Nobel Peace Prizes. However,
looking past, her gender, her achievements as a scientist, not a female scientist, were remarkable.
Today radium is most commonly known for its use to treat specific types of cancer. This remarkable
treatment can be attributed to Marie Curie, yet still she known to be the accomplished female scientist
. Gender bias signifantly affects the scientific perception Marie Curie. This investigation will analyze
how society undermined and ignored Curie s distinguishable scientific discoveries and will in depth
investigate To what extent did gender bias ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, the relationship of Pierre and Marie completely juxtaposed this social norm of the era. They
worked furiously to isolate polonium and radium and when they were successful credit was given
mainly to Pierre. Originally the Nobel Peace Prize was supposed to be awarded to Henry Becquerel
and Pierre Curie in 1903. Marie Curie would not be credited because it was viewed by the public that
she only assisted Pierre with his experiments. Pierre did not like to be recognized for his work, but
insisted that Marie be credited and be a recipient of the prize which made Marie Curie the first female
recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. Tragically, in 1905 Pierre was killed by a truck. This left Marie as a
single parent with three children. In her autobiographical notes of Pierre s biography, she states I have
been frequently questioned, especially by women, how could I reconcile family life with a scientific
career . Eventually, she takes on Pierre s full time job as the Professor general of Physics at Sorbonne.
She continued her studies of radium, focusing on radioactivity which resulted in her win of a second
Nobel Peace Prize in 1911. However, despite her high achievements she is was denied membership to
the French Academy of Sciences because of her gender. Among the people that denied her
membership were some of her past teachers. Her

Literary Criticism Of In Cold Blood
Truman Capote s In Cold Blood is a retelling of the true account of two men slaughtering four
members of a prosperous Kansas family on the night of November 15th, 1959. Capote s factual story
of the murders of the Clutter family, the arrest of two convicts, the trial and the convictions garnered
widespread media attention and fame for Capote. However, In Cold Blood has been critically analyzed
by both worlds of fiction writers as well as journalists on claims that the book is immaculately factual
(Plimpton). In In Cold Blood, Truman Capote delivers a single cohesive narrative of a true account
which is worthy of being considered an influential work in a new literary genre: The Non Fiction
Novel (Plimpton). Capote s style creates a detached yet penetrating effect of the savage murder of an
innocent family and is deemed too violent for young minds and hence banned in 1965. In spite of the
criticism, the release of the novel popularized the genre of creative ... Show more content on

Up until the release of In Cold Blood, the non fiction novel lived in the form of many guises.
Spanning several centuries from the end of the sixteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth
century, several phases of documentary novel or the non fiction novel had been evolving in the literary
world (Wainwright 2). One of the formulations, the metahistorical novel took the historical accuracy
of an event with no factual accuracy. Others were more autobiographical, namely: the fictional
autobiography (Wainwright 2). With the advent of the release of Capote s novel, In Cold Blood, a new
style of writing emerged giving it the name: New Journalism. Capote s drive to delve into the novel
length nonfiction had been a lifelong ambition. Having spent five years in Kansas researching the

Ethical Health Care Issues Paper
Health care staff governed to perform their professional duties based on the practice acts from the
professional licensing boards under the statutes of the states. The professional duties include the
balance between competency in skills, and application of ethics that will help promote the provision of
the quality of care to the public (Harris, 2008). However, there are ethical health care issues that health
care professionals encounter with their patients. One ethical health care issue is the refusal of a patient
for treatment, such as receiving blood transfusion because of his or her religious beliefs. ... Show more

The validity of the informed consent should consist of three factors. First, the patient is competent to
give an informed consent by verbalizing or acknowledging understanding of the nature of the
treatment plans. Second, the patient should give consent willfully without an undue influence or threat
from other individuals. Third, the patient should receive full disclosure, including the risks, and
benefits of the treatment plans from his or her physician (McInroy, 2005).
The ethical principles of beneficence, and nonmaleficence from a patient who is refusing blood
transfusion believed that refusal of this treatment would honor the benefits over harm. Based on the
values practiced among the Jehovah s Witness members, the harm resulting from receiving the blood
transfusion will cause a dismissal in achieving an eternal salvation. Nevertheless, the harm resulting
from refusing the blood transfusion will create less harm, which is the end of one s mortal life on
earth. The belief of the Jehovah s Witness members pertains to a rational decision, which the eternal
salvation preferred substantially compared with the additional years of temporary life on earth
(Macklin, 2003). The ethical principle of justice from a patient pertains to a fair, and equal provision
of respect regardless of the patient s cultural or religious beliefs. However, the

The Ins and Outs of Public Administration
Leadership and Management POSDCORB: planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating,
reporting and budgeting. These tools are necessary to perform the ongoing duties of a public
administration. POSDCORB emphasizes professionalism, executive control functions, and
organizational theory to governmental organizations for the sake of efficient management practices
(Chalekian, 2013).
Planning Planning involves the preparation for an organization to operate at desirable levels to achieve
desirable outcomes. Decision making is involved to resolve various issues that may confront public
administrators (Chalekian, 2013).
Organizing Organizing describes compiling the activities an agency or organization may offer and
create a reporting structure for the administration. Strategies for success are set in place to create a
hierarchy within an agency.
Staffing Staffing refers to the training of personnel to operate the agency s activities. Skill sets along
with the measurement of an individual s progress in certain tasks. The development of human
resources comes into play to acquire personnel for training, hiring and firing.
Directing This management function involves leadership and the motivation of individuals to perform

The Baseline Theory, And Game Theory
by Jon Von Neumann, although that development involved a number of many scholars who thought
collectively way back in the 1950s (Hart, 2015). The model has further been taken global with such
figures like Jean Tirole, who received global attention for the Nobel Memorial Prize award in 2011.
The baseline theory, and game theory are applicable in business contexts as it did for Glasberg et al
(2014) research case study. For the problem statement given above, game theory stands high
applicable chances based on the idea that any business has to weigh the risks involved before
considering a particular strategy (Blonski Spagnolo, 2015). Cloud computing is part of the
technologies seen important in the contemporary business context. This, however, is accompanied by
many risks and any organization has to determine such risks, and identify who loses and who gains in
the undertaken risk.
Envisioned Study3
The envisioned study is based on the same idea. For example, if the cloud computing technology
violates the health care restrictions, then the organization will lose in the process. With relevant
application of risk management strategies, it is possible to handle the risk in the most appropriate way
such that whoever gains ends up gaining little. Apparently, Glasberg and his colleagues developed the
idea of crisis management such that businesses may end up incurring little or no losses in case the risk
takes a negative course (Blonski Spagnolo, 2015). The health care system is

I Am Working With A Family
Question 1:
In this scenario, I am working with a family in the hospital setting. The patient is a 7 year old male
who is hospitalized due to complications with cystic fibrosis and also has a diagnosis of Down
Syndrome. Present in the family structure is the patient and both biological parents, who are college
graduates and have substantial employment. From my previous observations, I am aware that the
patient enjoys positive attention, such as praise, nonverbal attention, playing games, or reading books,
from adults, but also frequently displays non compliance with requests from adults. Another important
observation to note is that the patient is only able to follow simple 1 and 2 step commands and cannot
speak in full sentences.
In the healthcare setting, there are many experiences that may lead to problematic behaviors in
children, but in a situation where a child also has a developmental disability these problematic
behaviors can be more intense and more difficult to tame. An antecedent is what happens immediately
before a problematic behavior, such as a demand, transition, time of day, specific request being
denied, and so forth. An antecedent that might lead to problematic behavior in the hospital for this
particular child could be seen in the following example; the nursing staff entered the patient s room to
start an IV without assessing developmental age/abilities and gave the patient a 3 step command to
keep his arm still, not wiggle his body, and listen or talk to

Predator Prey Relationships
The relationship between predators and their prey is an intricate and complicated relationship;
covering a great area of scientific knowledge. This paper will examine the different relationships
between predator and prey; focusing on the symbiotic relations between organisms, the wide range of
defense mechanisms that are utilized by various examples of prey, and the influence between
predators and prey concerning evolution and population structure. Symbiosis is the interaction
between organisms forming a long term relationship with each other. Many organisms become
dependent on others and they need one another or one needs the other to survive. Symbiotic
interactions include forms of parasitism, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Parasites are what is called host specific, this means that their anatomy, metabolism, and life style is
adapted to that of their host(1973). Some parasites react to the behavior of their hosts, an interaction
called social parasitism(1989). More simply put a parasite might take advantage of the tendencies of a
particular species for the benefit of it s own. An example of this is the European Cuckoo. In this case
the grown cuckoo destroys one of the host birds eggs and replaces it with one of it s own(1991). The
host bird then raises the cuckoo nestling even when the cuckoo is almost too large for the nest and
much bigger than the host bird(1991). This is a case where the parasite uses the host to perform a
function and making life and reproduction easier on itself. Parasite and host relationships hold an
important part of homeostasis in nature.(1975). Parasitism is an intricate component in the regulation
of population of different species in nature. Mutualism is another topic at hand in discussing predator
prey relationships. Mutualism is a symbiotic relationship in which both members of the association
benefit(1989). Mutualistic interaction is essential to the survival or reproduction of both participants
involved(1989). The best way to describe the relationships of mutualism is through examples. We will
give examples of mutualism from different environments. Bacteria

How Does The Concentration Of Hydrochloric Acid Increase...
Introduction:
The collision theory states that reactions are produced by the collision of particles. Frequent collisions
produce a faster reaction time and release greater energy. This energy is converted into heat and
therefore the temperature can be measured.
There are many factors that can increase the reactivity of an element when mixed with hydrochloric
acid. These include pressure, temperature, surface area and concentration.
The atmospheric pressure of a room affects the reaction rate as it forces the particles closer together
therefore inducing more collisions. The more energy released from the particles raises the
temperature. The higher the concentration of the solutions the more particles there are therefore
making it more likely to collide. The surface area can have an influence on the rate of reaction as the
element had more exposed surfaces, allowing the reactant to collide with the element.
It was known that a reaction had occurred as there was the formation of new substances from the
existing elements such as hydrogen. This was an exothermic reaction as it produced heat which was
another factor contributing to the increased reaction rate.

Mergers And Acquisitions ( M S Essay
Mergers and Acquisitions (M A) is a term referring to the consolidation of companies or assets. A
merger is a combination of two companies forming to become a new company, and an acquisition is
the purchase of one company by another in which no new company is formed (investopedia.com). The
term M A also refers to the department of financial institutions that deal with mergers and acquisitions.
Every merger and acquisition has its own reasons based on organizational goals.
Mergers can help with entering emerging markets, cutting costs, and gaining competitive advantages.
There is increased pressure for publicly traded companies to raise their earnings. If it cannot be done
inside the company, they might seek to acquire companies to boost earnings. Additionally, the internet
and technology advancements have brought about off shoring of white collar jobs and made merging
with competitors easier.
There are four stages organizations undergo when a merger is decided. The first stage of a merger and
acquisition is the pre deal or pre merger and acquisition; it includes finding compatible business
ventures and partners to assess potential targets and develops a plan for execution (HR Focus, 2005).
Organizations planning to go through a merger or acquisition must consider the legal implications
including equal employment opportunities. HR must examine the policies of both companies and
ensure employees are properly trained. Training should include harassment, disability, and

Within the novel is the quote, and destruction after all is a form of creation. The quote is a rare one,
putting such differences with one another to make the idea seem confusing. In all reality, the quote is
quite simple. Humans are a prime example of creation from destruction. Humans go through many
emotional conflict throughout their lives. There comes a time in nearly every person s life in which
they feel worthless. This feeling is destruction of the human mind. Many people go through a lengthy
stage of depression. Although the destruction may take years to occur, the destruction can always be

The Decline Of Californian Giant Kelp Forests
The Decline of Californian Giant Kelp Forests
Kelp forests are seen as the ultimate ecological engineer in coastal areas. They exist in marine
environments spanning in southern California, Aleutian Islands, and the western north Atlantic. Light,
latitude, and water temperature and nutrients all play a role in facilitating the growth of kelp forests all
around the world, (Bolton). Kelp specifically dominates the shallow rocky coasts of the world s cold
water marine habitats. Although they look as a free growing plant, they are in fact primarily of brown
algae. These structures provide food and shelter to a huge mix of biota, including crabs, sea urchins,
mollusks, and other marine organisms (Steneck). The fronds, or large leaves of the kelp are the
distinctive feature that can represent where a specific kelp may be found. The sizes of these organisms
can range from the smallest found near California and Alaska at 5m to giant kelp up to 45m in length
found on the west coasts of North and South America (Hamilton).
One specific species found most commonly is the Laminaria prominently found in the northern
hemisphere except for the eastern pacific. Kelp themselves are not very diverse at the taxonomical
level. However, the coast of California contains the most diverse flora, 20 species across 16 genera to
be exact. Although their taxonomic diversity may be low, their diversity exists at the structural and
functional levels. Kelp have specific characteristics such as their trumpet

Zombieland Essay
The movie Zombieland (2009) is one of the several movie which accounts for the zombie apocalypse.
The director took his own different approach to the creation of the story. His take on the movie, was
more of a survival guide if a zombie apocalypse actually happens. In the following paragraphs I ll
exploring the film s plot and how it creates particular ideas about the film s diegesis and the meaning
the film s narration creates about love and survival.
The film makes use of first person voice over narration which was the protagonist Columbus Ohio.

It symbolizes the dead, terrible and scary place it had turned into. He gives us the feeling that all hope
for humanity was lost and that it ll just be a matter of time before the zombies would completely take
over the country leaving no humans alive. You could not trust anyone anymore, this was the case of
the protagonist. Whilst trying to survive, he came across different people. First of all, he met a guy,
who had lost his only son to the zombies, at gun point. Both of them after teaming up met two sisters
who ended up conning them into taking all their weapons and means of transportation. This ended up
happening twice but the second time the girls were generous enough to take them along and not leave
them stranded. These girls were on their way to an amusement park which they thought was zombie
free. During their journey, the protagonist started having feelings for one of the girls who conned him
into taking his means of survival twice. She gave him reasons for him to hate but it did just the
opposite which she found very attractive but didn t make a move until he saved her from a zombie in
the final scenes.
This director did a very good job in the arrangement of the story (plot). He used the diegesis to give
the audience a feel of the whole world of the film, with the background music and the lighting. He
also used the diegesis to show survival, love and bonds which

The first article I read was Effect of Dancing on Subjective Experiences and Psychological State of
Dancers by Dagmar Hrusova. In the article, Hrusova explains that dance can help develop social skills
and improve psychological health in addition to physical health, noting several other authors works on
the subject. He shares the results of an experiment that was conducted with non professional dancers
of two different genres of dance; street and modern (ten of each) in his article. The purpose of this
experiment was to establish the current emotional state and background of the participants before they
started dancing and see if possible changes occurred due to the effects of dancing. The dancers were
both male and female (six female and four male street dancers, ten female modern dancers) between
the ages of 17 and 36, and the only requirement was that the participants of this study attend dance
classes at least two times a week. The positive factors that were measured in this experiment were
psychological well being and activeness, and negative factors were anxious expectations, fears and
sadness. Dancers were given a questionnaire as a pre test and post test before and after every class for
a set period of time. The questionnaire consisted of 24 adjectives that described psychological
experiences, feelings and emotional states that the dancers ranked on a scale of zero to four (zero
meaning they never experienced the feeling at all and four meaning they experienced

Boundaries, Symmetry and Continuity in Radcliffe s The...
Below is a passage from I.2 of Radcliffe s The Mysteries of Udolpho concerning the concept of
precepts in relation to the characters of St. Aubert and his daughter Emily: I have attempted to teach
you from your earliest youth, the duty of self command [...] not only as it preserves us from the
various and dangerous temptations that call us from rectitude and virtue, but as it limits the
indulgences which are termed virtuous, yet which, extended beyond a certain boundary are
vicious...All excess is vicious; even that sorrow, which is amiable in its origin, becomes a selfish and

This logic of symmetry and deformity is located in the depiction of Nature a landscaped variety and
the characters relationships to their natural environment. The environs of La Vallée are characterized
by the qualities of the picturesque landscape, and every angle of the house looks out on some prospect
(2 4). In this landscape there is natural symmetry the improvements that St. Aubert makes to the
ground around the chateau are few and conform to a taste for the beautiful (6) that is formed by nature
rather than learned (see how St. Aubert conceives of Valancourt [35]). During the tour through the
Pyrenees, many prospects are remarked upon, but so too is the absence of a prospect (28 29).
Prospects are what make a landscape it is from a view large enough to incorporate diverse elements of
a scene and a variety of distances that a landscape (comprised of foreground, middle ground, and a
background) emerges. The idea of prospect is involved with the concept of perspective, and
perspective (as it relates to the way one interacts with anything) brings us back to the ideas of taste
and precept. But taste, precept, and prospect are in turn all linked to a consciousness of past, present,
and future. Thus St. Aubert, when making improvements in his estate or in his daughter is always
referencing them to his past experiences at La Vallee (2, 4), or to his hopes and fears for

Eye In The Tell-Tale Heart By Edgar Allan Poe
Eyes have been said to be the windows to the soul, by looking into them you can get a sense of who
this person is. Edgar Allan Poe uses one eye to not only describe one person but two, in his story The
Tell Tale Heart the narrator sees the eye and it is all he can focus on. The eye is no longer a part of the
old man but the eye is the old man. This eye represents evil and hatred and every time the narrator
sees it the sight of it enrages him more. And that eye and that eye alone representing evil to the
narrator sealed the old man s fate. For if it not for that eye that old man might have never been
murdered.
From the first description of the eye we already get an unflattering picture, One of his eyes resembled
that of a vulture (Poe 1) He uses the term vulture a bird that feeds on the remains of dead animals.
Why would Poe use this bird to describe this man s eye? He picks a bird associated with death
showing a precursor of things to come perhaps. Or the narrator could have felt threatened by the old
man and that s why he compared him to the vulture s eye. Either why it starts to story off with an
uneasy feeling about the old man. Poe will continue ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Diesel Powered Vehicles
Initial purchasing costs of gas over diesel powered vehicles is usually a large factor that consumers
take into account when purchasing a vehicle. Research has shown that on average, a diesel version
versus gasoline version of the same vehicle, is $5,045 more than the gasoline version. (Vincentric,
2012) Consumers buying on a budget have to take these factors into consideration, which generally
means that in more consumer oriented cars and SUVs, the gasoline version sells much better than the
diesel. Common reasons for this is that usually consumers associate diesel engines with the loud,
smoke blowing pickup trucks that smoke out an entire intersection. So people in the market for a
vehicle that haven t done their homework on the diesel powered version are more than likely to pick
the gasoline version. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Now while diesel prices have averaged 14 percent more per gallon than gasoline over that last decade
(Staff @ WorkTruckOnline, 2011), there is an equalizer in this whole situation. The diesel s fuel
economy advantage over the gasoline powered version actually balances out the cost of the two fuels
with each s relative fuel economy. A diesel vehicle emits more greenhouse gas emissions when burnt
than gasoline, but its higher energy content per gallon results in higher fuel efficiency for the vehicle.
So, as a result, the diesel can go further on a single gallon than a gasoline truck, meaning it produces
very similar greenhouse gas emissions as the gasoline powered engine, while running nearly the same
cost for fuel per mile as a gasoline powered

The Philosophies of Friedrich Nietzsche Essay
Philosophies of Friedrich Nietzsche Friedrich Nietzsche was a 19th century German philosopher and
held in regard amongst the greatest philosophers of the early part century. He sharpened his
philosophical skills through reading the works of the earlier philosophers of the 18th century such as
Immanuel Kant, John Stuart Mill, Arthur Schopenhauer and African Spir; however, their works and
beliefs were opposite to his own. His primary mentor was Author Schopenhauer, whose belief was
that reality was built on the foundation of experience. Such as it is, one of his essays, Schopenhauer

The fact that he gave up and refused to fight back gives room for more findings. He disagrees with the
Christian community for making Jesus a martyr and sees that in so doing, they had made the Christ
teachings vague. Nietzsche wrote his works in the process of rebuilding the damage caused by
Christians during the ancient days. His inclination was to show the true way in which God wanted
human beings to live as opposed to what Christians were doing. Another philosophy of Nietzsche was
related to the notion of ressentiment. Defined, ressentiment is any cautious, defeatist, or cynical
attitude based on the belief that the individual and human institutions exist in a hostile or indifferent
universe or society and an oppressive awareness of the futility of trying to improve one s status in life
or in society (dictionary.com). In the work, On the Genealogy of Morals, ressentiment is illustrated in
the way the Jewish clerics act in response to the authority of the Romans. Nietzsche states, the Jews,
that priestly people, who in opposing their enemies and conquerors were ultimately satisfied with
nothing less than a radical revaluation of their enemies values, that is to say, an act of the most
spiritual revenge. For this alone was appropriate to a priestly people, the people embodying the most
deeply repressed priestly vengefulness. The feeling of ressentiment is subconscious and communicates

Brookfield, the memories he had created there swell up within him. The time he spent there was not in

Catholics Should Discriminate Against Same Sex Couples
From a feminist s perspective 2012 was a huge year for marriage equality. President Obama allowed
people of the same sex to get married. The LGBT celebrated by having parades and parties. The
course of LGBT rights history continued on. The sacrament of marriage has changed within our
society by becoming more sacred. It is the right thing to make same sex marriage legal because if it
wasn t then that wouldn t be fair to our LGBT community. Catholics can continue to believe their
religious beliefs in an appropriate way that does not discriminate against other groups. Catholics can
value the sacrament of marriage by sharing it amongst people from different cultures. Nobody, not just
Catholics should discriminate against same sex couples because

Objections to Utilitarianism
OBJECTIONS TO UTIILITARIANISM SECTION (1) INTRODUCTION We noted, last week, that
UTILITARIANISM is a version of CONSEQUENTIALISM in that it holds that the RIGHT action (in
any given situation) is the action WHICH HAS THE WHICH HAS THE BEST CONSEQUENCES;
CONSEQUENTIALIST ethical theories may be contrasted with DEONTOLOGICAL or DUTY
BASED theories (such as Kant s) Now, some ( but not all) deontological theories are versions of
ABSOLUTISM i.e the doctrine that some actions are so wicked ... Show more content on

(5) You should not sell arms to an evil regime EVEN IF others will sell them if you don t.(Cf the case
of George in Singer,85) (6)You should not kill an innocent (friendless but healthy) person EVEN IF
by doing so (and giving his organs to several others) you could increase net happiness. These cases
pose great difficulties for the Utilitarian. (Many (if not all?)have to do with what Jonathan Glover calls
THE ACTS AND OMISSIONS DOCTRINE; this states that `in certain contexts, failure to perform an
act, with certain foreseen bad consequences of that failure, is morally less bad than to perform a
different act which has identical foreseen bad consequences. (Thus it is worse to KILL someone than
merely to LET SOMEONE DIE (or to let someone else kill them. Thus some Catholics would justify
the bombing of military targets in The Second World War even when such bombing was bound to
cause civilian casualties). The Utilitarian is committed to REJECTING The Acts and Omissions
Doctrine; but this seems unacceptable. (Failing to send money to the starving is wrong, but it is not as
wrong as sending the starving poisoned food Philippa Foot). SECTION (4) ACT UTILITARIANISM
vs RULE UTILITARIANISM There are, clearly, some very strong objections to Utilitarianism. Do
these objections (taken together ) amount to a

Thoughts on Being Humble
What is the purpose of being humble, when should we be humble, and is being humble overrated?
Do people only dislike other people for being cocky because they doubt themselves?
Personally, I do not mind it much when people brag about what they have achieved or have done.
More often than not, I know they never intentionally mean any harm by doing so. Why should I mind?
They re only excited about their life, right?
It is always easy to remain humble when everything is good and dandy, but the moment someone
criticizes them, they tend to withdraw, especially if the person criticizing does so in a tone which may
not be soothing enough.
I know people who swear on their lives they are humble, yet, they are not. They are so deep in ...

We must strive to remember how to behave during tough situations.
In contrast, I can understand why it isn t a good idea to be humble also. In other countries, people tend
to be less direct, or more humble during business or discussions. America tends to be more direct, and
if people who tend to be more direct are less understanding and less able to recognize one who is less
direct during a conversation, we must remember that there is a potential that the humble person may
be perceived as a weak individual, whether it be physically, mentally, or via business.
I propose we be humble, confident, and persistent. We can prove ourselves to ourselves by
consistently making things happen by REMEMBERING to take positive action. Let us advance in life
by remembering to remain humble during proper moments because it is those moments which shape
our destiny.
Being humble is the same as having a student mentality, and it is much more difficult to learn when
we lack a student mentality. We simply become less receptive to knowledge.
Also, you may want to keep in mind that cockiness and talking about what you want to do may cause
people to resent you, and people often do not like to see cocky or arrogant individuals rise above
levels which they themselves have yet to achieve. It is easier to rise above when we remain humble
because people will like us better.
Another good reason to be humble is because we never know when the tables

Notes On Trading Profile And Goals
Trading profile and goals
Generally there is an enormous amount of information available to the traders. So in order to trade
profitably traders should take only essential information into consideration for analysis. In this paper
we trade a portfolio of options, namely 10 BHPC98 puts and 10 BHPC88 calls both with the same
strike date and price as evidenced in Appendix B. The trading strategy we will employ is called a long
straddle and is usually amenable to day traders owing to the availability of stop loss orders on the
Commsec platform. Information such as companies circumstances, media announcements, public
reports and historical data are all important information available to establish a trading profile and
goals. For example, this trade works best when an imminent announcement is pending that increases
implied volatility or impacts on the share price significantly. One such occasion would be a half year
reports due out in February 2016. Thus, in the process of building the trade we distill our trading
profile.
This trade requires fundamental analysis (and completely avoids technical analysis), which is based on
traditional economic theory and focuses on the fundamental value inside a company. Usually this
involves taking the company s macro economic form, future opportunities and operating conditions as
measurements to estimate their market value. With this information we can determine the worth of At
the Money options (ATM) required to set up the long straddle.

Six Decisions That Will Change Your Life
Six Decisions that Will Change Your Life: Mature
John 4:7 15
This week is the third week of our sermon series that accompanies our small group series based on
Tom Berlin s book 6 Decisions That Will Change Your Life. While we all make many decisions each
day, these are 6 monumental decisions of our Christian journey. The first week we heard about the
Decision to Follow, and last week it was the Decision for a New Life. This week we will discover
what it means to make the Decision to Mature. Let us pray and begin. Prayer. Our scripture reading
this morning opens with a Samaritan woman, Jesus, and a well. When this woman approaches the
well, Jesus asks for her to give him a drink. At this request the woman is taken aback. It was
unprecedented for a Jewish man to be asking her for anything. First of all, this woman was a
Samaritan. The Samaritans and the Jews schismed after disagreeing on the proper place of worship. A
feud that even scripture felt the need to clarify by explaining in verse 9 Jews do not share things in
common with Samaritans. Second, she was meeting Jesus at the well alone. Which alludes to her
being unclean, or impure, in some way that would prevent her from getting water when all of the other
women do. Jesus approaching HER at all is startling to her, if not utterly confusing. Yet still, Jesus
persists, saying if you only knew who I am and the gift that is before you. If you only knew, then you
would ask for a drink and be given living water. And the

George Archer Shee Research Paper
The biggest story in the British press 100 years ago today centred on a High Court case brought by the
family of George Archer Shee, a teenage naval cadet who had been expelled from Osborn Naval
College two years previously for stealing a postal order valued at 5 shillings. The grounds for George
Archer Shee s expulsion were largely circumstantial. On 7th October 1908 he was granted permission
to leave the grounds of the College and visit the local Post Office in order to purchase a postal order
and a stamp, with which to buy a model train costing 15/6. Upon his return it was reported that a
postal order for 5 shillings, which had been received earlier that day by fellow cadet Terence Back,
had been stolen. Local Post Office clerk Annie Tucker

The Consumer Federation Of America
Americans resoundingly reject non driving characteristics in determining auto insurance rates.
If you re a low income American, chances are you re paying a lot more for auto insurance than other
citizens even if you have a similar driving record and address. Those are the findings of the Consumer
Federation of America (CFA) based on a study released on Monday.
Low Income Status = Higher Insurance Premiums
The CFA evaluated minimum limits liability premiums shared by men and women in 15 cities by five
of the nation s largest auto insurers. Specifically, the CFA found that premiums surged by an average
of 59 percent, or $681 annually when characteristics of the drivers were changed to denote a lower
economic status. Auto insurance is required in all states with New Hampshire the lone exception.
Insurance is regulated at the state level.
Insurance companies should judge you on how you drive, not who you are, said J. Robert Hunter, CFA
s Director of Insurance and former Texas Insurance Commissioner. Insurance companies are
penalizing good drivers by hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars each year based on economic
and social status, and the end result is that the poor pay more, much more.
Five Non Driving Factors Auto insurers use five factors when developing quotes for consumers. They
are: level of education, occupation, homeownership status, ownership of a car during prior six months,
and marital status.
The CFA found that drivers with the same driving

· Conclusion and recommendations:
When IRP amp; PPP do not hold, the NPV using different computation method will be different.
However, even with a significant depreciation, the NPV for this investment is always positive, which
means it is always positive. In case of depreciation, we could reduce the currency effect by hedging its

Marie Curie is famously known to be one of the first women known to make very large contributions to science, and known as a distinguishable woman for receiving two Nobel Peace Prizes. However, looking past, her gender, her achievements as a scientist, not a female scientist, were remarkable. Today radium is most commonly known for its use to treat specific types of cancer. This remarkable treatment can be attributed to Marie Curie, yet still she known to be the accomplished female scientist . Gender bias signifantly affects the scientific perception Marie Curie. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, the relationship of Pierre and Marie completely juxtaposed this social norm of the era. They worked furiously to isolate polonium and radium and when they were successful credit was given mainly to Pierre. Originally the Nobel Peace Prize was supposed to be awarded to Henry Becquerel and Pierre Curie in 1903. Marie Curie would not be credited because it was viewed by the public that she only assisted Pierre with his experiments. Pierre did not like to be recognized for his work, but insisted that Marie be credited and be a recipient of the prize which made Marie Curie the first female recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. Tragically, in 1905 Pierre was killed by a truck. This left Marie as a single parent with three children. In her autobiographical notes of Pierre s biography, she states I have been frequently questioned, especially by women, how could I reconcile family life with a scientific career . Eventually, she takes on Pierre s full time job as the Professor general of Physics at Sorbonne. She continued her studies of radium, focusing on radioactivity which resulted in her win of a second Nobel Peace Prize in 1911. However, despite her high achievements she is was denied membership to the French Academy of Sciences because of her gender. • 3. Literary Criticism Of In Cold Blood Truman Capote s In Cold Blood is a retelling of the true account of two men slaughtering four members of a prosperous Kansas family on the night of November 15th, 1959. Capote s factual story of the murders of the Clutter family, the arrest of two convicts, the trial and the convictions garnered widespread media attention and fame for Capote. However, In Cold Blood has been critically analyzed by both worlds of fiction writers as well as journalists on claims that the book is immaculately factual (Plimpton). In In Cold Blood, Truman Capote delivers a single cohesive narrative of a true account which is worthy of being considered an influential work in a new literary genre: The Non Fiction Novel (Plimpton). Capote s style creates a detached yet penetrating effect of the savage murder of an innocent family and is deemed too violent for young minds and hence banned in 1965. In spite of the criticism, the release of the novel popularized the genre of creative ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Up until the release of In Cold Blood, the non fiction novel lived in the form of many guises. Spanning several centuries from the end of the sixteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century, several phases of documentary novel or the non fiction novel had been evolving in the literary world (Wainwright 2). One of the formulations, the metahistorical novel took the historical accuracy of an event with no factual accuracy. Others were more autobiographical, namely: the fictional autobiography (Wainwright 2). With the advent of the release of Capote s novel, In Cold Blood, a new style of writing emerged giving it the name: New Journalism. Barron, MHA Ethical Health Care Issues Paper Health care staff governed to perform their professional duties based on the practice acts from the professional licensing boards under the statutes of the states. The professional duties include the balance between competency in skills, and application of ethics that will help promote the provision of the quality of care to the public (Harris, 2008). However, there are ethical health care issues that health care professionals encounter with their patients. One ethical health care issue is the refusal of a patient for treatment, such as receiving blood transfusion because of his or her religious beliefs. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The validity of the informed consent should consist of three factors. First, the patient is competent to give an informed consent by verbalizing or acknowledging understanding of the nature of the treatment plans. Second, the patient should give consent willfully without an undue influence or threat from other individuals. Third, the patient should receive full disclosure, including the risks, and benefits of the treatment plans from his or her physician (McInroy, 2005). The ethical principles of beneficence, and nonmaleficence from a patient who is refusing blood transfusion believed that refusal of this treatment would honor the benefits over harm. Based on the values practiced among the Jehovah s Witness members, the harm resulting from receiving the blood transfusion will cause a dismissal in achieving an eternal salvation. Nevertheless, the harm resulting from refusing the blood transfusion will create less harm, which is the end of one s mortal life on earth. The belief of the Jehovah s Witness members pertains to a rational decision, which the eternal salvation preferred substantially compared with the additional years of temporary life on earth (Macklin, 2003). The ethical principle of justice from a patient pertains to a fair, and equal provision of respect regardless of the patient s cultural or religious beliefs. However, the ... • 6. The Baseline Theory, And Game Theory by Jon Von Neumann, although that development involved a number of many scholars who thought collectively way back in the 1950s (Hart, 2015). The model has further been taken global with such figures like Jean Tirole, who received global attention for the Nobel Memorial Prize award in 2011. The baseline theory, and game theory are applicable in business contexts as it did for Glasberg et al (2014) research case study. For the problem statement given above, game theory stands high applicable chances based on the idea that any business has to weigh the risks involved before considering a particular strategy (Blonski Spagnolo, 2015). Cloud computing is part of the technologies seen important in the contemporary business context. This, however, is accompanied by many risks and any organization has to determine such risks, and identify who loses and who gains in the undertaken risk. Envisioned Study3 The envisioned study is based on the same idea. For example, if the cloud computing technology violates the health care restrictions, then the organization will lose in the process. With relevant application of risk management strategies, it is possible to handle the risk in the most appropriate way such that whoever gains ends up gaining little. Apparently, Glasberg and his colleagues developed the idea of crisis management such that businesses may end up incurring little or no losses in case the risk takes a negative course (Blonski Spagnolo, 2015). • 7. I Am Working With A Family Question 1: In this scenario, I am working with a family in the hospital setting. The patient is a 7 year old male who is hospitalized due to complications with cystic fibrosis and also has a diagnosis of Down Syndrome. Present in the family structure is the patient and both biological parents, who are college graduates and have substantial employment. From my previous observations, I am aware that the patient enjoys positive attention, such as praise, nonverbal attention, playing games, or reading books, from adults, but also frequently displays non compliance with requests from adults. Another important observation to note is that the patient is only able to follow simple 1 and 2 step commands and cannot speak in full sentences. In the healthcare setting, there are many experiences that may lead to problematic behaviors in children, but in a situation where a child also has a developmental disability these problematic behaviors can be more intense and more difficult to tame. An antecedent is what happens immediately before a problematic behavior, such as a demand, transition, time of day, specific request being denied, and so forth. An antecedent that might lead to problematic behavior in the hospital for this particular child could be seen in the following example; the nursing staff entered the patient s room to start an IV without assessing developmental age/abilities and gave the patient a 3 step command to keep his arm still, not wiggle his body, and listen or talk to ... This paper will examine the different relationships between predator and prey; focusing on the symbiotic relations between organisms, the wide range of defense mechanisms that are utilized by various examples of prey, and the influence between predators and prey concerning evolution and population structure. Symbiosis is the interaction between organisms forming a long term relationship with each other. Many organisms become dependent on others and they need one another or one needs the other to survive. Symbiotic interactions include forms of parasitism, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Parasites are what is called host specific, this means that their anatomy, metabolism, and life style is adapted to that of their host(1973). Some parasites react to the behavior of their hosts, an interaction called social parasitism(1989). More simply put a parasite might take advantage of the tendencies of a particular species for the benefit of it s own. An example of this is the European Cuckoo. In this case the grown cuckoo destroys one of the host birds eggs and replaces it with one of it s own(1991). The host bird then raises the cuckoo nestling even when the cuckoo is almost too large for the nest and much bigger than the host bird(1991). This is a case where the parasite uses the host to perform a function and making life and reproduction easier on itself. Parasite and host relationships hold an important part of homeostasis in nature.(1975). Parasitism is an intricate component in the regulation of population of different species in nature. Mutualism is another topic at hand in discussing predator prey relationships. Mutualism is a symbiotic relationship in which both members of the association benefit(1989). Mutualistic interaction is essential to the survival or reproduction of both participants involved(1989). The best way to describe the relationships of mutualism is through examples. We will give examples of mutualism from different environments. Bacteria ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. How Does The Concentration Of Hydrochloric Acid Increase... Introduction: The collision theory states that reactions are produced by the collision of particles. Frequent collisions produce a faster reaction time and release greater energy. This energy is converted into heat and therefore the temperature can be measured. There are many factors that can increase the reactivity of an element when mixed with hydrochloric acid. These include pressure, temperature, surface area and concentration. The atmospheric pressure of a room affects the reaction rate as it forces the particles closer together therefore inducing more collisions. The more energy released from the particles raises the temperature. The higher the concentration of the solutions the more particles there are therefore making it more likely to collide. The surface area can have an influence on the rate of reaction as the element had more exposed surfaces, allowing the reactant to collide with the element. It was known that a reaction had occurred as there was the formation of new substances from the existing elements such as hydrogen. This was an exothermic reaction as it produced heat which was another factor contributing to the increased reaction rate. Variable identification: The independent variable in this ... • 10. Mergers And Acquisitions ( M S Essay Mergers and Acquisitions (M A) is a term referring to the consolidation of companies or assets. A merger is a combination of two companies forming to become a new company, and an acquisition is the purchase of one company by another in which no new company is formed (investopedia.com). The term M A also refers to the department of financial institutions that deal with mergers and acquisitions. Every merger and acquisition has its own reasons based on organizational goals. Mergers can help with entering emerging markets, cutting costs, and gaining competitive advantages. There is increased pressure for publicly traded companies to raise their earnings. If it cannot be done inside the company, they might seek to acquire companies to boost earnings. Additionally, the internet and technology advancements have brought about off shoring of white collar jobs and made merging with competitors easier. There are four stages organizations undergo when a merger is decided. The first stage of a merger and acquisition is the pre deal or pre merger and acquisition; it includes finding compatible business ventures and partners to assess potential targets and develops a plan for execution (HR Focus, 2005). Organizations planning to go through a merger or acquisition must consider the legal implications including equal employment opportunities. HR must examine the policies of both companies and ensure employees are properly trained. Training should include harassment, disability, and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 12. The Decline Of Californian Giant Kelp Forests The Decline of Californian Giant Kelp Forests Kelp forests are seen as the ultimate ecological engineer in coastal areas. They exist in marine environments spanning in southern California, Aleutian Islands, and the western north Atlantic. Light, latitude, and water temperature and nutrients all play a role in facilitating the growth of kelp forests all around the world, (Bolton). Kelp specifically dominates the shallow rocky coasts of the world s cold water marine habitats. Although they look as a free growing plant, they are in fact primarily of brown algae. These structures provide food and shelter to a huge mix of biota, including crabs, sea urchins, mollusks, and other marine organisms (Steneck). The fronds, or large leaves of the kelp are the distinctive feature that can represent where a specific kelp may be found. The sizes of these organisms can range from the smallest found near California and Alaska at 5m to giant kelp up to 45m in length found on the west coasts of North and South America (Hamilton). One specific species found most commonly is the Laminaria prominently found in the northern hemisphere except for the eastern pacific. Kelp themselves are not very diverse at the taxonomical level. However, the coast of California contains the most diverse flora, 20 species across 16 genera to be exact. Although their taxonomic diversity may be low, their diversity exists at the structural and functional levels. Kelp have specific characteristics such as their trumpet ... It symbolizes the dead, terrible and scary place it had turned into. He gives us the feeling that all hope for humanity was lost and that it ll just be a matter of time before the zombies would completely take over the country leaving no humans alive. You could not trust anyone anymore, this was the case of the protagonist. Whilst trying to survive, he came across different people. First of all, he met a guy, who had lost his only son to the zombies, at gun point. Both of them after teaming up met two sisters who ended up conning them into taking all their weapons and means of transportation. This ended up happening twice but the second time the girls were generous enough to take them along and not leave them stranded. These girls were on their way to an amusement park which they thought was zombie free. During their journey, the protagonist started having feelings for one of the girls who conned him into taking his means of survival twice. She gave him reasons for him to hate but it did just the opposite which she found very attractive but didn t make a move until he saved her from a zombie in the final scenes. • 14. The Effect Of Dancing On Subjective Experiences And... The first article I read was Effect of Dancing on Subjective Experiences and Psychological State of Dancers by Dagmar Hrusova. In the article, Hrusova explains that dance can help develop social skills and improve psychological health in addition to physical health, noting several other authors works on the subject. He shares the results of an experiment that was conducted with non professional dancers of two different genres of dance; street and modern (ten of each) in his article. The purpose of this experiment was to establish the current emotional state and background of the participants before they started dancing and see if possible changes occurred due to the effects of dancing. The dancers were both male and female (six female and four male street dancers, ten female modern dancers) between the ages of 17 and 36, and the only requirement was that the participants of this study attend dance classes at least two times a week. The positive factors that were measured in this experiment were psychological well being and activeness, and negative factors were anxious expectations, fears and sadness. Dancers were given a questionnaire as a pre test and post test before and after every class for a set period of time. The questionnaire consisted of 24 adjectives that described psychological experiences, feelings and emotional states that the dancers ranked on a scale of zero to four (zero meaning they never experienced the feeling at all and four meaning they experienced ... This logic of symmetry and deformity is located in the depiction of Nature a landscaped variety and the characters relationships to their natural environment. The environs of La VallĂ©e are characterized by the qualities of the picturesque landscape, and every angle of the house looks out on some prospect (2 4). In this landscape there is natural symmetry the improvements that St. Aubert makes to the ground around the chateau are few and conform to a taste for the beautiful (6) that is formed by nature rather than learned (see how St. Aubert conceives of Valancourt [35]). During the tour through the Pyrenees, many prospects are remarked upon, but so too is the absence of a prospect (28 29). Prospects are what make a landscape it is from a view large enough to incorporate diverse elements of a scene and a variety of distances that a landscape (comprised of foreground, middle ground, and a background) emerges. The idea of prospect is involved with the concept of perspective, and perspective (as it relates to the way one interacts with anything) brings us back to the ideas of taste and precept. But taste, precept, and prospect are in turn all linked to a consciousness of past, present, and future. Edgar Allan Poe uses one eye to not only describe one person but two, in his story The Tell Tale Heart the narrator sees the eye and it is all he can focus on. The eye is no longer a part of the old man but the eye is the old man. This eye represents evil and hatred and every time the narrator sees it the sight of it enrages him more. And that eye and that eye alone representing evil to the narrator sealed the old man s fate. For if it not for that eye that old man might have never been murdered. From the first description of the eye we already get an unflattering picture, One of his eyes resembled that of a vulture (Poe 1) He uses the term vulture a bird that feeds on the remains of dead animals. Why would Poe use this bird to describe this man s eye? He picks a bird associated with death showing a precursor of things to come perhaps. Research has shown that on average, a diesel version versus gasoline version of the same vehicle, is $5,045 more than the gasoline version. (Vincentric, 2012) Consumers buying on a budget have to take these factors into consideration, which generally means that in more consumer oriented cars and SUVs, the gasoline version sells much better than the diesel. Common reasons for this is that usually consumers associate diesel engines with the loud, smoke blowing pickup trucks that smoke out an entire intersection. So people in the market for a vehicle that haven t done their homework on the diesel powered version are more than likely to pick the gasoline version. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Now while diesel prices have averaged 14 percent more per gallon than gasoline over that last decade (Staff @ WorkTruckOnline, 2011), there is an equalizer in this whole situation. The diesel s fuel economy advantage over the gasoline powered version actually balances out the cost of the two fuels with each s relative fuel economy. A diesel vehicle emits more greenhouse gas emissions when burnt than gasoline, but its higher energy content per gallon results in higher fuel efficiency for the vehicle. So, as a result, the diesel can go further on a single gallon than a gasoline truck, meaning it produces very similar greenhouse gas emissions as the gasoline powered engine, while running nearly the same cost for fuel per mile as a gasoline powered ... The Philosophies of Friedrich Nietzsche Essay Philosophies of Friedrich Nietzsche Friedrich Nietzsche was a 19th century German philosopher and held in regard amongst the greatest philosophers of the early part century. He sharpened his philosophical skills through reading the works of the earlier philosophers of the 18th century such as Immanuel Kant, John Stuart Mill, Arthur Schopenhauer and African Spir; however, their works and beliefs were opposite to his own. His primary mentor was Author Schopenhauer, whose belief was that reality was built on the foundation of experience. The fact that he gave up and refused to fight back gives room for more findings. He disagrees with the Christian community for making Jesus a martyr and sees that in so doing, they had made the Christ teachings vague. Nietzsche wrote his works in the process of rebuilding the damage caused by Christians during the ancient days. His inclination was to show the true way in which God wanted human beings to live as opposed to what Christians were doing. Another philosophy of Nietzsche was related to the notion of ressentiment. Defined, ressentiment is any cautious, defeatist, or cynical attitude based on the belief that the individual and human institutions exist in a hostile or indifferent universe or society and an oppressive awareness of the futility of trying to improve one s status in life or in society (dictionary.com). In the work, On the Genealogy of Morals, ressentiment is illustrated in the way the Jewish clerics act in response to the authority of the Romans. Nietzsche states, the Jews, that priestly people, who in opposing their enemies and conquerors were ultimately satisfied with nothing less than a radical revaluation of their enemies values, that is to say, an act of the most spiritual revenge. For this alone was appropriate to a priestly people, the people embodying the most deeply repressed priestly vengefulness. These cases pose great difficulties for the Utilitarian. (Many (if not all?)have to do with what Jonathan Glover calls THE ACTS AND OMISSIONS DOCTRINE; this states that `in certain contexts, failure to perform an act, with certain foreseen bad consequences of that failure, is morally less bad than to perform a different act which has identical foreseen bad consequences. (Thus it is worse to KILL someone than merely to LET SOMEONE DIE (or to let someone else kill them. Thus some Catholics would justify the bombing of military targets in The Second World War even when such bombing was bound to cause civilian casualties). The Utilitarian is committed to REJECTING The Acts and Omissions Doctrine; but this seems unacceptable. (Failing to send money to the starving is wrong, but it is not as wrong as sending the starving poisoned food Philippa Foot). • 26. Thoughts on Being Humble What is the purpose of being humble, when should we be humble, and is being humble overrated? Do people only dislike other people for being cocky because they doubt themselves? Personally, I do not mind it much when people brag about what they have achieved or have done. More often than not, I know they never intentionally mean any harm by doing so. Why should I mind? They re only excited about their life, right? It is always easy to remain humble when everything is good and dandy, but the moment someone criticizes them, they tend to withdraw, especially if the person criticizing does so in a tone which may not be soothing enough. We must strive to remember how to behave during tough situations. In contrast, I can understand why it isn t a good idea to be humble also. In other countries, people tend to be less direct, or more humble during business or discussions. America tends to be more direct, and if people who tend to be more direct are less understanding and less able to recognize one who is less direct during a conversation, we must remember that there is a potential that the humble person may be perceived as a weak individual, whether it be physically, mentally, or via business. I propose we be humble, confident, and persistent. We can prove ourselves to ourselves by consistently making things happen by REMEMBERING to take positive action. Let us advance in life by remembering to remain humble during proper moments because it is those moments which shape our destiny. Being humble is the same as having a student mentality, and it is much more difficult to learn when we lack a student mentality. We simply become less receptive to knowledge. Also, you may want to keep in mind that cockiness and talking about what you want to do may cause people to resent you, and people often do not like to see cocky or arrogant individuals rise above levels which they themselves have yet to achieve. It is easier to rise above when we remain humble because people will like us better. Another good reason to be humble is because we never know when the tables ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 28. Notes On Trading Profile And Goals Trading profile and goals Generally there is an enormous amount of information available to the traders. So in order to trade profitably traders should take only essential information into consideration for analysis. In this paper we trade a portfolio of options, namely 10 BHPC98 puts and 10 BHPC88 calls both with the same strike date and price as evidenced in Appendix B. The trading strategy we will employ is called a long straddle and is usually amenable to day traders owing to the availability of stop loss orders on the Commsec platform. Information such as companies circumstances, media announcements, public reports and historical data are all important information available to establish a trading profile and goals. For example, this trade works best when an imminent announcement is pending that increases implied volatility or impacts on the share price significantly. One such occasion would be a half year reports due out in February 2016. Thus, in the process of building the trade we distill our trading profile. This trade requires fundamental analysis (and completely avoids technical analysis), which is based on traditional economic theory and focuses on the fundamental value inside a company. Usually this involves taking the company s macro economic form, future opportunities and operating conditions as measurements to estimate their market value. With this information we can determine the worth of At the Money options (ATM) required to set up the long straddle. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Six Decisions That Will Change Your Life Six Decisions that Will Change Your Life: Mature John 4:7 15 This week is the third week of our sermon series that accompanies our small group series based on Tom Berlin s book 6 Decisions That Will Change Your Life. While we all make many decisions each day, these are 6 monumental decisions of our Christian journey. The first week we heard about the Decision to Follow, and last week it was the Decision for a New Life. This week we will discover what it means to make the Decision to Mature. Let us pray and begin. Prayer. Our scripture reading this morning opens with a Samaritan woman, Jesus, and a well. When this woman approaches the well, Jesus asks for her to give him a drink. At this request the woman is taken aback. It was unprecedented for a Jewish man to be asking her for anything. First of all, this woman was a Samaritan. The Samaritans and the Jews schismed after disagreeing on the proper place of worship. A feud that even scripture felt the need to clarify by explaining in verse 9 Jews do not share things in common with Samaritans. Second, she was meeting Jesus at the well alone. Which alludes to her being unclean, or impure, in some way that would prevent her from getting water when all of the other women do. Jesus approaching HER at all is startling to her, if not utterly confusing. Yet still, Jesus persists, saying if you only knew who I am and the gift that is before you. If you only knew, then you would ask for a drink and be given living water. And the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

On 7th October 1908 he was granted permission to leave the grounds of the College and visit the local Post Office in order to purchase a postal order and a stamp, with which to buy a model train costing 15/6. If you re a low income American, chances are you re paying a lot more for auto insurance than other citizens even if you have a similar driving record and address. Those are the findings of the Consumer Federation of America (CFA) based on a study released on Monday. Low Income Status = Higher Insurance Premiums The CFA evaluated minimum limits liability premiums shared by men and women in 15 cities by five of the nation s largest auto insurers. Specifically, the CFA found that premiums surged by an average of 59 percent, or $681 annually when characteristics of the drivers were changed to denote a lower economic status. Auto insurance is required in all states with New Hampshire the lone exception. Insurance is regulated at the state level. Insurance companies should judge you on how you drive, not who you are, said J. Robert Hunter, CFA s Director of Insurance and former Texas Insurance Commissioner. Insurance companies are penalizing good drivers by hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars each year based on economic and social status, and the end result is that the poor pay more, much more. Five Non Driving Factors Auto insurers use five factors when developing quotes for consumers. They are: level of education, occupation, homeownership status, ownership of a car during prior six months, and marital status. The CFA found that drivers with the same driving ...
