complex compound (2 methylphenoxyacetic acid) from two simple parts; also known as synthesis
converting simple molecules into more complex molecules. A purification technique known as
crystallization was used to purify the product. Suction filtration was used to filter out the product. The
experiment was completed over a three day experimental period. Procedure: In this experiment, 0.31 g
(2.87 mmol) of 2 methylphenol was suspended in a 10 mL Erlenmeyer flask along with 1 mL of water
and a stir bar. The flask was clamped onto a hotplate/stirrer and turned on so that the stir bar would
turn freely. Based on the amount of 2 methylphenol, 0.957 mL (0.00287 mmol) NaOH was calculated
and collected in a syringe. The NaOH was then added to the 2 methylphenol solution and allowed to
mix completely. In another 10 mL Erlenmeyer flask, 0.34 g (2.92 mmol) of sodium chloroacetate was

Abstract Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology for automated identification of people
and products, and is getting more involved in our daily lives. RFID consists of a RFID tag or
transponder, a RFID reader or transceiver, and the data processing system has been evolving with
time. RFID technology is also helpful when used with money, but there is a main limitation while
using RFID technology. It is privacy and security. That is why, Electrical and computer engineers
work with this limitation, so RFID would be the future for all engineers.

For many people, using a card to access a building or a door, a key to start a car or validating an
underground ticket have become a routine without realizing that they are making use of a technology
that captures data because of the magnetic field. The technology is known as Radio Frequency
IDentification or RFID. [1] Just as people use RFID in their daily lives, this technology is also used in
objects, as the travel from manufacture to storage and finally the point of sale. Also, they carry RFID
tags like people do. People show their RFID cards and objects don t. These tags are read in different
ways and need greater detection distances.

Jefferson Davis lived from (1808 1889) and was a Mexican War hero, a U.S. senator from Mississippi,
and U.S. secretary of war and president of the Confederate States of America for the duration of the
American Civil War (1861 1865). Prior to the start of the war, Davis had argued against secession, but
when Mississippi seceded he resigned from the U.S. Senate. In February 1861 he was elected
president of the Confederacy states. Davis faced difficulties throughout the war as he struggled control
and manage the Southern war effort, maintain control the Confederate economy and keep a new nation
together and united. Davis often arduous and contentious personality led to conflicts with other
politicians as well as his own military officers. In May 1865, several weeks after the Confederate

America, but he was appointed, not elected, to many of the offices he held in his antebellum career.
